My name is Dawn Wilber. I love how the place is very comforting. My insurance had changed and the nice lady in front didn’t make a Big deal of it she just helped me to make sure I was able to be seen for my appointment at 1:15pm. She knew I came quite a ways to get there. She was Awesome! Dr Zen is very personable and very clear are what needs to be done.

My experience within the office of Dr Zen Zen was remarkable. The kind surgeon was very clear and helpful in regards to the surgery process and the pros and cons for each lens offered. The staff was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. Although yesterday I had surgery on my first eye, I am so pleased to say that I can already read emails off my phone without glasses! The Surgery Center employees kept me comfortable and informed throughout the experience yesterday. I had no pain whatsoever and am extremely pleased.

From the first step into it was amazing I felt welcomed, comfortable and my questions met! I got Lasek done and it was amazing I was super nervous at first because I don’t like people that close to my face and plus it was a laser but I was super comfortable and walked out amazed. I would recommend Doc to anyone! I love waking up and being able to see my daughter face clear and not having to put glasses on. Still amazed and very grateful.

So this is how it went. I went to dr rhors office to see about lasik. After the initial test I was given documents and info about the procedure. After that I had a second test to see if I was a right fit for it as I have extreme nearsightedness and large eyes. After that went smooth I had to go to a different specialist down in clarkston to make sure a spot on my left eye was okay. Finally it was operating day and I was nervous. They give you drops, meds, then have you wait in a room. After about 20 minutes I went back for surgery. This is where it gets kinda cringy. Watching the videos does not prepare you fully for what is about to happen. There is a machine placed on your face that does the cutting of the cornea (which you can feel, no pain only like a weird movement) then the flap is moved, then the laser does its work. You can actually smell the laser beaming your eyes(trippy, no pain). After one eye is done they moved to the next. I had a follow up today which is the day after and I am seeing so much better. All in all I would recommend them in a heartbeat. They were kind, fast, gentle, and helped me out throughout the ordeal. The whole thing from start to finish took less than a month with only about 4 appointments all included with the price of lasik. Tldr: nice people, fast work, I can see without glasses now. Get lasik here.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr is straight and to the but will answer any questions you. Not alot of waiting, staff is a well oiled machine. On top of everything they were also the lowest quote by 2k. Couldnt reccomend enough!

I will update after surgery/procedure but so far I have enjoyed my time getting to know the staff. Friendly, outgoing and extremely knowledgable. They were able to see me right away and I felt confident with the answers I was given in regards to LASIK.
