Two weeks or so I bought a pair of winter boots and I finally found a pair that fit, were comfortable and I was happy I had lovely customer service. I bought the boots and left. I began wearing the boots and everything was great, after wearing them a couple times I noticed they were ripping where the loop was to help pull them on. I said this is not good. I called Browns to find out what I should do. They told me that they have a 1 year warranty and that I did not need to deal with the brand of the boot. I took the boots back and all the Browns protection products which I had not used yet and I got all my money back no questions asked. This is an AMAZING service and policy. Thank you Brown Shoes. I will be back.

My first time going to Brown's. I was looking for winter boots for my daughter and was greeted with a warm welcome and politeness. The staff were very helpful when I was looking something and told me different options to get the boots through the store. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my experience at the store. Loved the customer service. I haven't experienced top tier customer service in a while, it's really good to know that the staff makes people feel welcome and help people looking around, and very informative how they do things. This is the best Browns location I’ve been to! I shop at Browns often, and this specific store at Yorkdale really stood out. The staff are attentive, friendly, and easy to approach. They even offer real socks (not the flimsy nylon ones) to try on shoes, and water too, such a nice touch.

Came in last Sunday to buy shoes and the service was fantastic! Alalin I believe was his name was super friendly and warm. I told him my shoe situation and he gave me his input based on shoes that he owns and he recommended me to give Hokas a try specifically the Clifton 10s. Safe to say I bought them and have worn them throughout these past 2 weeks and I love them!! Very enthusiastic, charismatic worker that was easy to talk to. I noticed he had passed the shoe off to a different sales associate to get and I had asked why and he stated he wasn’t doing sales he was in a different position on the floor and that completely blew me away. The unselfishness in this establishment is remarkable and if this is the calibre of staff Brown’s has, that’s amazing. I’ll be back for sure!
I went to Brown's Yorkdale looking for shoes for Pickleball. I went to 2 sports stores first. At one store, there seemed to be only one staff member who was busy with a customer and at the other store the staff member ignored me and then I felt like I was 'bothering' her. The staff at Brown's went above and beyond to help me find the specific shoe. Unfortunately they didn't have it but recommended the first store I was at so I went back there. The staff at Brown's helped with sizing, my orthotics and more. They were great and I wish I could have bought shoes there!

Visited browns at Yorkdale mall to purchase a pair of running shoes because my pair got stolen out of my car & I have an upcoming race I’m running so it was something I needed to buy. Unfortunately I didn’t buy anything but the sales associate who helped me today named Dante was extremely helpful and did more then just sell but provided an experience and demonstrated a high level of hospitality with a great personal twist , extremely charismatic and fun. whatever you do make sure to keep people like this on your team he feeds more then just sales but to your culture as a whole. Fantastic service here, it’s nice to be able to relax and find the shoes I want with my mom and auntie. These days is so hard to find places that put customer first and Browns Shoes done a fanatic job to make us feel like home and we get a huge variety of select selections for most trendy most popular shoes that are great for our needs. Shoutout to Higor, he really made us feel comfortable to try things out and omg even offering water, my elderly auntie feels extremely grateful for his service. Sadly we can’t tip at the store otherwise we 100% would. Will return just to buy shoes from Higor but also every staff at store seems very approachable. Super friendly professional team 10/10! The store can get very crowded but luckily it seems like once you talk to a staff member, they will be able to help you all your needs, we were able to get seated right away to try things. But I’d still recommend to avoid high traffic time. Week day or early morning probably the best time to shop.

I had an amazing experience today. I had a great guy victor who took great care of my mom and I when we were trying on shoes. Truly such a happy sole and was in such a great mood, even though it was beyond busy he stayed so calm and offered to get us whatever we needed. I knew what shoes I wanted and the moment I walked in the store, one of the sales reps over heard me and came to assist me right away. The store was very busy so I was surprised that I got assistance right away. The selection of shoes is pretty impressive, they had the exact shoes and size I was looking for. I couldn’t even find this color of shoes on the brands website so I was glad to see they had the exact shoes I was looking for. They also have really comfy chairs though I’m not sure how important that is. The sales rep that helped me was not pushy at all, she quickly got the shoes and sizes I requested and left me to make the decision on my own. I will definitely be going back when I need more shoes, especially sneakers and casual shoes because they have a fairly good selection of those.

I was at Brown’s back in December and had the absolute pleasure of entering the store and being served by a lovely sales rep by the name of Jana (or Jenna)! For context, I have a really hard time finding shoes that I like in my size due to my larger shoe size. I had been looking for winter boots in particular and at this point had visited over 10-12 stores across various cities and have had no luck finding shoes that work for me. At this point, I was giving up hope but I came across Brown’s in the Eaton and decided to go in and check it out. I enter the store and am immediately greeted by a smiling face. This sales rep (by the name of Jana), came up to me and asked me if I needed assistance. I explained my story to her and gave her a description of what I was looking for and she immediately got to work, pulling out different options for me (IN MY SHOE SIZE !!!!). The options were vast and fit the perfect description of what I was looking for. I went through a lot of pairs and kept asking Jana for more options until I found the perfect one and Jana was resourceful and she did not give up until I found the perfect shoe. She was patient, kind, funny, friendly, and all good things a sales rep should be. She wasn’t just looking to hit a quota but to genuinely help out her customers and she went above and beyond doing that. I am extremely content with my pair of shoes and with the service provided with this specific location and staff. Great job to Jana and the managers :)

Editing this review from 4 stars to 5 after coming here today and being treated with exceptional customer service, don’t know the guys name but he was wearing a black blazer really helpful guy I explained to him what I was looking for and he was quick in getting me what I needed in the right size Got a nice pair of Boss shoes for $140 which i think is a solid price and I saw the same exact shoes in the boss store for $225 They have a really nice selection here of men’s and women’s shoes and I would definitely come back The boot selection here is also one of the best I’ve seen if your looking for boots this is a really good place they have all the best brands for decent prices Also they have sales very often so if there was that shoe you wanted but it was a bit expensive u can usually come back and find it on sale

I want to share my experience, I bought sneakers, everything is great everything liked, especially pleasant and communicative Neel Vaya, a very nice person, helped with literally all questions and it is clear that the man likes his work and he is in his place! What can not be said about the rest of the workers, all the customers literally go only to Neel, the other girls just stand and look at it, and only when he asks them to come up and start doing something, they start working, it looks quite strange, as if they just do not want to work.... But overall it was good, Neel helped with all my questions and told me how to solve my issue better.

Amazing service at Yorkdale today. Three different folks helped me — the cashier looked up sizes, and two different sales people patiently worked through best fit and size for me between men's and women's sizes. They were friendly, down to earth, and calm. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the sales people could have sold me my own shoes. She was a hoot, and sold me a cleaner as well as a potential pair of flip flops from the same brand when a new shipment comes in. I spoke with Sarah on the phone. I had a million question about reordering a new pair after I was fully refunded for a return due to a premature damage of my Artika boots. She answered all my questions one by one, when she wasn't sure, she asked her manager and got back to me (the manager is amazing too, I spoke with him in person)....Overall, I am so happy with the service I received that I am sure I will buy from them again. They are incredibly customer-focused. If anything goes wrong with your purchase, rest assured that you will be taken care of.

He kept bringing me sizes from the back and was helping me find boots compatible with my orthotics. On a customer service front, this Browns location at Yorkdale mall is better than Sherway (similar in size) and waaay better than Square One, probably the worst cs with the least selection. I was ready to purchase a pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong...only to find out that they didn't have the size/colour I wanted. Dante, who looks intimidating, but gets stuff done, gave me a pair in my size, but not the colour I wanted to try on. He also got his staff to call the warehouse/other stores in order to locate the shoes I wanted. (Obviously, he wants to make a sale, but I am telling you, even on commission some of these salespeople act as though they're doing you a favour. When in reality, the money is right under your nose people...as soon as I walk in. I am such an easy sale when I know what I want!) Anyway, they were unsuccessful because one of the stores was closed, so he did offer to order them for me which I thought was nice. Heck, not very many salespeople would even offer to call another location for you. This particular store is quite large and they have a big selection, so if there's anything that Browns usually carries, it's probably here!
