Braces as an Adult — A Great Experience! As a kid, I was nervous about going to the dentist and didn’t want braces. But as an adult, my perspective shifted, and I decided to finally take the leap. My wife and I agreed we’d start our own orthodontic journeys once our child finished theirs — and I’m so glad we did. The entire process has been surprisingly smooth. The staff is incredibly informative and genuinely listens to any changes I notice during treatment, as well as what they observe. Whether you’re seeing Dr. Lundberg or Dr. Ryba, you’re in good hands. They consistently keep me updated on my progress and clearly explain the next steps at each visit. If you’re on the fence — don’t be. Honestly, it probably took you longer to save for that Disney trip your kids don’t even remember. Investing in your smile is worth it!
I normally see an orthodontist near Boston, but I was in Vermont staying with family for over a month, and a wire on my braces was getting very long and painfully cutting into my cheek. I called Timberlane in the morning, they got me an appointment that same afternoon, and Dr. Lumberg clipped my wire in 5 minutes. It was a huge lifesaver, and they didn't charge me even though I was not a regular patient and from out of state! Everyone was so nice and helpful while I was in a pinch.
Dr. Tom Ruescher is our two little one's dentist and he is fantastic. Great with being able to soothe kids, really helped with how to have our toddler sit to help brush. Never a poor experience.
My family moved here a year ago but it took awhile before we had insurance. When we did, I checked this place out. They were kind, courteous and worked with our schedule. I was surprised how quickly we were able to get in for new patient exams and cleanings. They worked well with my kids too. No complaints.
