Staff is awesome and the facility is very clean. Dr. Taylor Stephens is amazing with kids. They keep everything running smoothly and usually can see both my kids in a 30 min appointment.
Love this clinic - super clean, easy to navigate with young kids, very friendly staff and extremely efficient!

Great dentist for kids! My daughter actually told me today on the way to the appointment how excited she was to go! We no longer live near Wayzata but won’t switch because she likes going!! It’s always quick and easy.

The staff is very nice, everyone from the front desk, hygienist and the dentist. The office is beautiful too with a lot of natural light. They’re timely and very efficient.

Excellent as always! My son has Down syndrome and Dr. Stephens is so patient with him. Because of this my son’s dental visit ended up being one of his easiest recent appointments and he felt so proud of himself. Thanks to everyone at Tailwinds for always meeting my son right where he’s at!
Dr. Stephen’s is the most gentle, kind man. He makes taking your kids to the dentist a breeze and the kids actually love going now. It helps that they always get to pick a fun prize when they are done! My daughter recently broke two teeth and I was told to come right in! The whole staff was so understanding and sympathetic towards both of us and put us completely at ease, with a great plan for fixing the teeth. I can’t recommend this office more.
We always have a wonderful experience at Tailwind in Wayzata! Our son struggles with a gag reflex and the team there is always so kind and understanding. They even had a new t-shirt for him after he had a vomiting incident during his last appointment. Dr. Stephens is as nice and gentle as they come. Highly recommend Tailwind for all kiddos!
Dr Stephens and Dr Heather were so great with my child during their procedure. They made sure we understood everything that was to be expected and the before and aftercare plan.
Love Dr Stephens office! I specifically take my kids to see him because he is not over aggressive with his treatment. I initial saw him for a second opinion on fillings that our other dentist said “needed” to be done. We were able to save 4 perfectly good permanent teeth that now even four years later have zero issues. Thank you Tailwind! 😊💗

Best pediatric dentist ever! My son is an incredibly anxious and sensitive fellow. Our first experience at a pediatric dentist was a nightmare, and had me afraid we were going to be dealing with a life-long aversion to dental appointments. But then we were pointed towards Tailwinds, and everything changed for the better! Dr. Stephens is a wonderful human being, and a fantastic dentist. My son was instantly put at ease, the exam went great, and now he looks forward to going back every 6 months. I still can't believe the difference! I will always and forever recommend this place. And I hope they'll be willing to see my son until he's 40 years old. Lol!

We’ve gone to Tailwind for 2 years now and have always had a great experience. The staff makes the kids feel comfortable and the space is clean and welcoming. My 1.5 year old and almost 4 year old love going to the dentist now and using their new brushes.

I have 3 girls and have been seeing Dr. Stephens for 15 years! We were in Edina/Richfield and switched to his Wayzata location last year (which is beautiful) when we moved out west. He is so friendly, fast and realistic. Never pushes us into unneeded procedures and my girls feel so comfortable with him and his staff. He also always accommodates appointments where I get all 3 kids in at once. No need for multiple appointments. I cannot recommend enough! Absolutely love him and the practice. I trust his advice from toddler to teen!

Outstanding service. Best place for kids' dentist needs. I would absolutely recommend. Just went for checkups for our 2 yr and 8yr olds. Still the best place I can think of. Our 2 yr old daughter thought it was fun and did amazing for a 1st time dentist exam. 5 stars any way you look at it - never even realized there were pediatric dentists before. This place is outstanding.
We had a wonderful experience at Tailwind. My 3 boys were seen and cared for promptly by their dental hygienists. Dr. Stephens was kind and understanding. He was quick and thorough with his exam. We were in an out of there in less than an hour! The entire staff was great.
The staff is incredible. Our son was NOT a fan of going to the dentist, but everyone here helped him get over his fears and he told me it was his favorite part of the day. THANK YOU!

Tailwinds Dentistry was great with my 5 year old son who has sensory processing! They were patient and accommodating as I explained his needs. He needed to be put out as he had extensive decay. The dentist was very efficient and we were thankful he didn’t need to be under anesthesia any longer than necessary. We were very pleased with the whole process.
My kids love going to the dentist at Tailwind because it’s comfortable and welcoming and I love that it’s quality dental care where I never have to wait a long time. Altogether an enjoyable experience for everyone

We were able to get my son's cavities filled at Tailwind without anesthesia, using technology that made the whole process painless.
