We hired a motorhome to explore the South Island with the whānau, and honestly, Star RV made the whole trip smooth as. The van was clean, spacious, and packed with everything we needed, comfy beds, full kitchen setup, heaps of storage, and even USB ports for the kids' tablets (lifesaver!). Booking was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the pickup/drop-off process was a breeze. It became more than just transport, it was our home on wheels and the base for all our best memories. If you’re keen on a road trip with comfort and zero stress, I 100% recommend Star RV. Chur team, you made our NZ adventure next level!

The service at the location in Queenstown was very good! We picked up our Star RV Polaris 2 in Christchurch, but had a problem with it (check engine light went on) on the way from Te Anau to Queenstown. We arrived at the rental station in Queenstown only a few minutes before closing, but still the employees made it possible to take care of the Problem. Our Polaris 2 should not be driven further according to the mechanic, therefore we had to change vehicles. There was no equal vehicle available, so we got a Polaris 4 instead. The very nice employee took care of everything, showed us all functions of the other vehicle and closed the station over an hour later, than normal! The additional costs for the already booked ferry from Picton to Wellington, due to the larger dimensions of the motorhome were also refunded at the dropoff in Auckland! The whole dropoff process in Auckland was also very easy and quick! We were very satisfied with the customer service at both rental stations. Picking Star RV as Motorhome rental company was a really good decision!

My experience with StarRv has been incredible. Me and my friend flight was delayed and a couple of guys waited for us even past closing time. Special mention to Bec, she only started her job few weeks before and she went above and beyond by telling us anything she knew about the vehicle (Polaris Berth 6). The motorhome was incredible, reliable and easy to drive which made my first road trip memorable!
