It is tough. It is slow. It allows for curation. It works core muscle groups with deep breathing in an interactive workout which strengthens and empowers.

We visited the kids from the bay area and stayed for a week to celebrate my daughter's birthday and also just to bond with them. One of the things my daughter and I regularly do is either going to yoga or lagree. The one we normally go to was full and this one was the closest too next to the first one. I love the place cause first it was clean, plus the instructor was really nice and very helpful. I like her style and words of wisdom with some storytelling too. I really enjoyed her class. Time flew really fast and before you know it, it was over! So sorry I don't remember her name omg Im so bad with names lol

But I definitely recommend this place.

Forgot to take some pics though

Great first work out here. Coaches are very encouraging. Highly recommend and they validate parking ❤️

one of the bigger solidcore locations I've been to! the lobby is fairly large, and they have two really nice bathrooms. the lockers aren't as compact, and they have a ton of benches!

the workout studio is not as cramped as other locations, which is a huge plus.
I've taken a class with Camille and she's great!

Great studio, clean, easy parking and the Coaches have all been great and bring high energy to every class. Solidcore is more challenging than I thought it would be. Overall it’s been a humbling experience.

My favorite Pilates studio. Always leaving there feeling so much stronger and energized!

Love coming here! Parking is simple with the nearby garage downstairs. I always get a great workout in and I love all the kind and knowledgeable instructors.

The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the parking which is located in a different building number and it's kind of confusing. The good part is that they validate the parking.

The Pilates class was a blast.
I loved it and can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work.

The studio is clean and cozy.
The staff very friendly and helpful.

Love love love this studio! All of the instructors here are so great but special shout-out to my regulars Breayre and Maya! They push you here in a good way and I feel sooo much stronger 21 classes in. I'm gonna be so sad when I have to leave Cali in a few months but highly recommended workout spot! ❤️

I took this class not being very informed at all. I must say, once I found out where to park, it was on and popping. The front desk lady was very pleasant and the vibe was great. They have lockers but of course I always advise to travel lightly when attending classes. Once the class started, I relaxed a lot and the instructor, Breayre was just wonderful. She's very supportive and friendly. I was behind in the class because I watched her demo each move first.

I would advise this to all new-comers.
She will demonstrate the intro moves so watch her. She's very detailed and she went around to each student to check on us.

My advise on this class is to take the intro class multiple times at first and don't try to show off, if you can't do a move, just watch it until you are ready.
Breayre encourages this also. Take it slowly and make sure your springs are adjusted properly!

I couldn't believe how much I was sweating in this class.
I will be back again for sure. Free parking underground. Yay.

Thanks, Breayre and the front desk staff. :)

I started my journey at Solidcore with Starter50, their introduction class, with Anthony. He was engaging and thorough as he explained and demonstrated each exercise, and offered corrections as he walked around the class. It was incredibly helpful. It's definitely a challenging workout but one that hurts so good.

Parking is available in a structure nearby, and the studio validates.
I appreciate that the studio has a receptionist to manage the door as an additional level of security as we're in class. Much appreciated!

I booked my first solidcore workout through classpass and it was a very good experience! My instructor was paying attention to my form and would occasionally come by and help when I was struggling with the form. I like how encouraging and motivating she was. There's no showers or lockers which is the only downside and the door code doesn't seem to work until about 10 mins before class starts so don't bother going 15 mins earlier even if that's what classpass suggests. Parking is validated for the underground lot.

I tried to find a Lagree studio close to where I was staying in Chelsea. I lucked out with finding Solidcore - Chelsea that was located 5 minutes walking-distance from me. I've also been wanting to try Solidcore back at home, so it worked out that I got to try Solidcore for my drop-in visit.

I noticed that the studio was minimal.
They didn't appear to sell any merch, water, or even grip socks (I forgot mine). That being said, i was informed that I could use the megareformer with barefeet. I was relieved that I wasn't going to be denied for class! I noticed that was actually a common practice, unlike my home studio that requires grip socks during class.

The Solidcore space reminded me a lot like how Soul Cycle is.
Dimly lit, music bumping, basically working out in a club. I'm here for it.

I took Marcus' 11:15am full body class, and it was fantastic.
He was such a great instructor and helped to encourage deeper or more challenging movements by adjusting my form. I also appreciated him spending the time to go over how their megareformers worked. Only major difference I saw was the location of the springs on the machine, but I also thought it was cool how the resistance of the springs were recommended based on how far along you are in your Solidcore practice.

Pauline was so helpful getting my account set up! I am from a different location originally. I was having trouble set up my account and the location I was at was not answering. I was getting frustrated so I called in to another studio and she was so helpful getting my account activated I can't wait to take a class!

I just finished their 2 weeks unlimited offer for first timers and it was a great experience. I'm fairly new to this type of workout, but all the instructors break down the movements really well and provide modifications. I took 3 starter50 classes before diving into their signature classes. Good vibes and muscle shakes all around. You will be sore! This is probably one of the most mentally challenging workouts I've tried.

The studio itself is clean and can handle around 18 people per class.
They validate parking for the structure nearby which is a 2-3 min walk from studio.

I’m very new and the instructor made me feel totally comfortable. Give Daisy a raise!

I've been trying lots of new Pilates studios & discovered Solidcore. When I tell you I was fighting for my life those 45 minutes (but in the best way possible xD). My abs/ body was BURNING after but I absolutely loved it ! Parking is validated by the studio & that's amazing esp bc this is located in the heart of Pasadena (if you know, you know parking is horrendous sometimes).

I am someone who loves pushing myself/ I love challenges and Solidcore delivered exactly that.
I took a 6:30am class & the instructor I took was informative & always made sure everyone was doing the right thing/ had correct form. I cannot wait to book my next class!

Love this studio! Parking is easy and validated, classes are easy to book and not too full to book last minute, I’ve liked every instructor and as someone who’s done Pilates for a while, this studio is very challenging in a good way. Great for anyone looking to get in shape with Pilates

One of the instructors recommended that I pay a visit to the UES solidcore studio because it is apparently massive, and I have to say, she did not let me down. An issue I have with a lot of the other studios in the city is how closely packed the machines are-- navigating between them often feels mildly treacherous, especially in the dark during class and I have bruised my thighs on several occasions bumping into handles.

However, the machines were generously spaced apart here and I was actually able to do a lot of exercises without being worried about bumping into machines or people.
The studio space is actually located underground, so you get an extra mini workout post-class by climbing the stairs to get back to the ground floor lockers. I did notice that the machines looked a little more worn out than other locations.

The Chelsea location is currently undergoing some renovations but when they are finished, there will be two different studios in one larger space. The studio currently open is a little small and cramped compared to other studios. I bumped into the sweatlana machines a few time which was a painful experience. The staff members are super friendly and will take your name at the door.

Awesome studio, and pretty spacious compared to some other solidcore locations.

Tara is an amazing instructor!! It was my first class. With each adjustment she gave me- I felt the burn/muscle fatigue even more! Tara was extremely helpful throughout class and continued to challenge and cheer me on. Pilate reformer classes are elite.

One star off because the machines here do look kinda old and when I pull my cables it doesn't feel as smooth.

I really enjoyed class with Sam who I think is the head coach there and also classes with SMC Rob C!

This location is brand new—they just opened in December 2022. I'll definitely be back to take more classes here! Update after a several classes: the studio is well-maintained and clean. Classes have been good so far and [solidcore] standard. The staff are nice and friendly. One of the classes I was scheduled to attend was canceled day-of. I booked this one with ClassPass and their system notified me earlier in the morning, but the studio's management sent out an email about an hour later with an apology and explanation, and offered a courtesy class. There are some businesses that don't reach out at all after a cancellation, but at [solidcore] Pasadena, they handled the situation well and it seems like they do care about their clients. They offer class packs / memberships, which I am considering rather than using ClassPass credits, which typically ends up costing a lot more per class. There is a parking lot conveniently around the corner and the studio provides parking validation.

Solid workout at [solidcore]. I found this on ClassPass and had heard good things about reformer pilates. As a regular weight lifter, this was a fun and challenging way to workout during vacation.

I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but the instructor Laura was super friendly.

Legs were def wobbly at the end- lots of pulsing with resistance from the pilates reformer machine. I would recommend bringing a towel since you do get very sweaty and make sure your brain is turned on because you have to listen pretty closely to the instructions as they are given very quickly. That said, the instructor is helpful if you look a bit lost.

All in all a positive experience!

I've heard this class was tougher than other reformer pilates classes so I was super scared going in but I loved it!

It was my first time and the instructor was friendly and explained everything to me before class. Throughout class the instructor lets everyone know how many springs they recommend depending on how many classes they've taken, due to COVID they didn't due any hands on but would throw in tips to better our form. The music really pushes you and the energy in the room was great.

After class the instructor came to me and asked me how I liked it, if I had questions, and gave me tips (which is rare in boutique fitness studios). I walked out feeling great and now a day later I'm sore lol but worth it.
