Starter50: Intro To [solidcore]
This class kicked my butt (in a very satisfying way), wow! It was so hard but Oliver guided us through each move, and I’m grateful we had a small class (just 5 people!) so we were able to learn at a slower pace. The building’s parking system was confusing to get in/out but it’s nice that they validate.

Instructor was really good and supportive of the first timers in class. It’s definitely fast paced and very challenging, but I enjoyed it. Lots of cues and form correction throughout.

Omg , Dannie is great. Appreciated the hands on adjustments AND the compliments on my form. These classes can be so intimidating but Dannie was both warm and challenging

Clean, intimate facility. One session going at a time. 1000% going to be a challenge for any reformer beginners. But that’s with everything worth doing in life :) Instructor was motivating and gave clear instruction. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Happy to return

This was my first time taking a solid core class and definitely won’t be my last. I’ve taken other reformer classes but this one was definitely challenging but worth it. The sequences were easy to follow and Myah’s instructions were thorough and her music taste was impeccable.

Took my first [solidcore] class ever w/ Andrea. She was great at explaining everything and amping us up/adjusting when needed. My friend also took the class and he has never done Pilates before & felt taken care of (the beginners class which def still is a major workout!!!). It has been 3 hrs since class and my body feels it still I've taken two Pilates classes before on reformers at other gyms and felt like they weren't explaining anything and moved too quickly, so Andrea going through the moves with us and letting us know what to do step by step was helpful af. Clean reformers and validated parking in the gelsons parking lot for 75 mins. Just fyi if you come up from gelsons parking lot, there's not really any signage as to where the [solidcore] is. I had to ask people who looked like they just worked out. It's on the OUTER side of the building... close to the Olympic and bundy intersection. Def would have been lost otherwise

Oliver is one of my favorite instructors. He always brings the best energy and I love a coach that inspires me to push myself — which he does. And he also smells SO GOOD!!!! Oliver, what are you wearing?? tell us pls

The workout was good, but I find that a lot of solidcore instructors will offer the modifications way too far into the exercise. Doing the harder version when you haven’t built the strength yet tends to just put pressure on the wrong parts of your body and lead to incorrect form.

I liked this instructor a lot! She made it clear which muscles we should be utilizing for each different move, and made corrections on people when needed. But after class, I noticed that no one wipes their machines down properly. Most people just did a really lazy swipe on the top, while only my friend and I actually took the time to thoroughly wipe down everything that was touched. I saw that several girls in class were barefoot (ewww) and some of their feet looked disgusting so I would really caution you to sanitize the equipment before class, if you want to protect yourself from getting staph, ringworm, warts, fungus infections, etc…

One of the best studios in LA! The instructors are so motivating and push you to your limits in the best way possible. The themed classes are always fun too. My faves are the pop punk and EDM ones! The afternoon and evening classes usually aren't too full which is nice. Validated parking, lockers, and earplugs are provided.

The coach was great! I thought she was so one point. The only reason for 4 stars is the studio! The door code thing was so annoying I never got email with code luckily someone open it. Then the handle bars on the machine are so insanely stiff it hurts to you weight into them. Also, I was so confused when and where to check in. None of this reflection of the teacher just would be nice if there was front desk person or something to help the teacher. For how much marketing I see of solid core online with influencers that I know they are paying a bunch for they should have a little bit more service in the studio. - I have always thought it was weird how the spring load depend on how many class you have been to. Which is great if you never ever done this kinda thing but….. like if go to similar studios you might be under 50 class but could still handle the some spring loads just saying.

I've been taking Caitlin's classes at Solidcore for over 2 years, and she is the reason I've stayed consistent. The Sweatlana machine was intimidating at first, but Caitlin makes everything feel approachable -- even when your legs are shaking. She's exceptional with beginners, explains movements clearly, and somehow manages to motivate you and helps correct your form at the same time. My physique and posture have noticeably improved under her instruction, and I always leave class feeling stronger and supported. I've tried other trainers, but no one brings the same combination of energy, clarity, and genuine care that Caitlin does. If you're considering Solidcore, start with her and stick with her-- she's truly in a league of her own. (Caitlin deserves more than 5!)

Instructor was amazing and sweet and helpful and really went out of her way to adjust dorm. I really appreciate it - I am so intimidated by solidcore but she made it feel doable 🙏 only complaint is: door code doesn’t work. I was 2 min late and was worried I couldn’t take the class because no one heard me banging on the door initially. For something that important, they need to make sure we have the updated code on time each month.

I enjoy solidcore for what it is but I find it unbearably loud and difficult to understand instruction, wish they offered “quiet” classes. Today the instructor moved my foot that was bearing weight on the carriage and nearly made me lose my balance during class.

As a first time student, I was already super intimidated but I need to highlight how excellent & patient Neyla was with us! Our class was on a Friday afternoon but surprisingly a very small class so Neyla was able to focus & correct everyone throughout, especially us newbies. She was on top of it & made me an instant pilates fan afterwards. The studio itself is very clean & spacious too. We booked the Signature50: Full Body through classpass but their [solidcore] app also makes it super convenient to book directly. They have an attached parking structure in the building & validate for students. Will definitely be booking more classes here again!

I was traveling and took a class here. It's a nice space, much bigger than my home studio in DC but the room was oddly shaped. I ended up with the one machine where the wall is at a slant and there isn't enough space for incline pushups on the grey platform. Other than that, it's a good studio, good coach.

Finally tried Solidcore this year to restart a fitness routine and this studio has been great. I tried a few of the starter classes to learn the equipment and exercises and all of the instructors were encouraging and helpful. Location has street parking (metered during the day) and validated garage parking for 75 minutes. I like that their schedule has late classes and more afternoon options on the weekends. I always feel like I get a good workout and definitely have gotten stronger in just a few months. Highly recommend if you're looking for a strength building workout and like Pilates!

My friend and I did a Full Body class for the first time. We never done Pilates before and I can’t say this class was easy, but our instructor Tensaye was amazing and really made the difference. The class is pretty fast paced, but she was always around checking in, adjusting us and helping us transition from one exercise to the next. She’s amazing and we’ll definitely be going back.

Few neighborhoods are as well-known in the world as Hollywood. Here are several must-see attractions for those who visit Los Angeles. But the place is no longer the same. The streets are not clean and has a lot of beggar (not as much as the decadent downtown LA, but has). It is to visit, but not to stay: better look for hotel other neighborhood (West Hollywood, the city of Santa Monica, etc.)

Just took my first class here. Rough start. I got here 9 min early and someone was stuck at the door. The code wasn't working. I tried my code, no luck. Then another student showed up and tried calling. Nobody picked up. We knocked a bunch of times. Nothing. Then after baking outside in the sun for 10 min another student started banging on the door so hard I thought the door would break. A receptionist finally opened the door and gave me a hard time even though I never touched the door. She said "When you press the code too many times it wont work" whatever that means. The code was not working we all tried it. The class itself seemed very similar to the Lagree class I recently took. This one seemed a lot easier as far as intensity. Otherwise some of the exercises seemed identical. This studio is super dark for some reason. I personally prefer a bit more light but no big deal. The music was pretty loud, the instructor's mic was a bit muffled and clipping at times and fighting the frequencies the music was on. Slightly challenging to hear her nonstop instructions. She talked nonstop the entire class. Felt like a bit too much to me. It was sweet of her to apologize after class for the door code issue. She apologized on the mic and to us individually as well. Overall a clean studio, good equipment, solid workout. Can't go wrong. To be honest I tried this particular studio cause it's right next door to a good coffee shop, so it's convenient to grab a cold drink after class. But honestly there's another studio I liked much better, not gonna mention the name. So I probably won't be back here but try it out for yourself you might love it.

I love this solidcore location! It's pretty easy to get into the classes I want and the instructors are really friendly. They also offer hands-on correction which I appreciate. I wasn't sure what to expect because it's a chain, but was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and warm the staff is. I've taken 5 classes here now and will continue to attend at least 1x/week. There's also a parking garage located in the same building as the studio and they offer validation which is huge. As for the workout, solidcore is basically a mix of megaformer resistance training/cable training, light dumbbells, and Lagree. It is a fantastic workout and I'm sore every time. There's no shame in taking breaks and my form has improved a lot since I began. I do have a solid background in mat pilates and was familiar with reformer and Lagree, which definitely helped being new to solidcore. I recommend taking 1-2 of the starter 50 classes, especially if you're completely new to any form of pilates. That said, instructors offer modifications if you're new and the cable load is lighter for 0-25 classes. TLDR: this is my favorite workout. Instructors are great, parking garage with validation is a plus. Recommend experience with Pilates or taking a Starter 50 class before a regular class. I also saw changes in my body pretty quickly.

NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO FCKN HUMBLED BY A WORK OUT CLASS pros: Validated parking Parking structure Great playlist New reformers Very supportive and helpful instructors Cons: Hard to find as there are no signs on the building Validation is supposed to be for 75 minutes and I still had to pay even though I was there under 75 minutes so that's more of a parking issue and not a class issue Not beginner, friendly - this was my first time at solid core but my second overall Pilates class. This is a great workout, but I was fucking dying the entire time lol the last issue I have with this class is the microphone the instructor using sometimes muffled her words which made it hard to understand her direction, but other than that this was a great class, I will be back after I build up my endurance and fitness level. I've gone to the other Solidcore locations in LA and this one is one of my favorites! Kriz was the coach and did a fantastic job pushing me to my limits! I left feeling AMAZING (like a runners high) and will definitely be back. Such good bang for your buck- 50min workout that is equivalent to a 2 hour workout

Very pretty
Unmissable walk. We did it on the bus that runs through the city and visits the most interesting points of Hollywood, with the possibility of getting off wherever you want. I recommend doing it this way, since traffic and parking are a big issue in Los Angeles, and this option allows a general and detailed snapshot of everything.

Los Angeles - a city with many faces
We enjoyed our time and did a lot. The city is colorful, loud and a little crazy. There is a lot to discover. From the imposing villas in Beverly Hills to Hollywood Boulevard with the Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theater, there are plenty of impressions for the eye. It never gets boring here. An extraordinary atmosphere of colorful hustle and bustle and characterized by great wealth, but at the same time you can smell the disgusting stench of poverty and decay. Wealth and poverty are incredibly close together here. Los Angeles is diverse and we have to admit that after 4 days we were happy to return home to our little village. The city leaves an impression whether positive or negative, we take both experiences with us as frequent travelers. Be careful of Catwomen, superheroes and other characters in costumes, a photo can quickly become expensive here.

Hollywood should be on ever travelers bucket list of must see and do! Where movie magic comes to life! Go see all the places where your favorite movie was filmed! Iconic Hollywood sign which does not like up at night. Hollywood boulevard the street never sleeps and walk of stars. TLC Chinese theatre with stars hands/feet. Universal studios park and back lot studios! So much more! Only down fall to this area, is it dirty like many citys. Homeless is all over sadly rampant. There is tents set up every corner, roads, or nook. It incredibly sad. Been many places this is one worst. I am sure all harmless but take caution for those who my be unstable.

Prepare how to find the best view
You can;t get to the sign anymore but you can get close enough to take cool pictures of it. But you better prepare for it and find on line where to park and where is the best place for pictures. And than you can always see it from the Griffin Park Observatory but it is seen there from a long long distance.

Movie capital of the world
This is where most of the movies we watch originate. It is a huge drawing card, much like Times Square is for NYC. Sadly, there is much too much violence in the movies they produce. Yikes, and even Hollywood has a Museum of Death; oh well, it is part of the cycle of life. In touring Hollywood, I saw more homeless people than anywhere else in Great Los Angeles.

The Party town
This is the second well known party spot I came during my trip (the first one is the Times Square in New York). Different to Times Square, Hollywood is more movie oriented. So, in addition to super heroes, there were other movie casts showing up in front of Hollywood Walkway (to offer photo taking service). Definitely a good spot to visit at night during your Los Angeles trip.

Everyone should see LA at least once
I have visited, I have lived and worked there, and I came back to see what has changed. LA has so many areas from Hollywood, to the Valley, and the beaches, there is too much to see and cover here. But to focus on Hollywood, I would say that a visit to the Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theater and Dolby Theater shopping area is a great day trip. If you get a chance, see a movie there. The Disney El Capitan Theater is a beautiful turn of the century theater brought back to its original glory. In the cooler part of the day, take a hike up to the Hollywood sign. And if you can get tickets from a member, visit the Magic Castle for dinner and a full night of magical entertainment.

City of Angels - 3 Tage pure Unterhaltung
Hallo!

From George Vreeland Hill
Hollywood is the ultimate destination for any California tourist. This is the legendary land of the movies. Well, more movies are made outside of Hollywood than here. But this is where so much entertainment history was made. Visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre where such stars as Jean Harlow and Marilyn Monroe have their hand and foot prints in cement. The theatre sits in front of the Hollywood Walk of Fame where so many names are immortalized. Be sure to see the famous Hollywood Sign, the Dolby Theatre where the Academy Awards are held, Hollywood and Vine and Sunset Blvd. There are just too many places in Hollywood to list here. If you are not sure where to go, then I suggest that you take a tour. On the downside, there are a lot of homeless people in Hollywood and crime is high. So be careful. Have fun and take a lot of pictures. George Vreeland Hill

Hollywood, California Land of Fruits and Nuts
I am actually a resident here in Southern California, so Living here all my life has made me an expert on the subject of Hollywood. If you are looking for excitement and humor, come to Hollywood and Highland ave's. This is where it is all happening. Mann's Chinese theater where Hollywood stars have placed there hands and feet over the last 75 + years is a must and in walking distance from the corner. Parking is a bit of a problem though. Many stores and venues are all along the blvd. Characters of all kinds are walking around daily to take pics with you. Don't miss the Buses to the Stars homes and Hollywood sites, this will give you real viewing of what our town is all about. It will take you to places like World Famous Rodeo Dr. Etc. You probably will see a Star or two along the way. There are tours for you to take at some of the studios here.Plan to spend a little extra money here ( This is California ) Enjoy your visit.

This is a must for any tourist visiting Los Angeles. It has so many landmarks, so much to see and do. It's best to avoid driving here, traffic is always congested and parking is hard. Take a cab or the metro and you will spend the time walking around instead of stuck in traffic. I think afternoons and evening are the best. You can have both lunch and/or dinner in the numerous restaurants in the area (Musso and Frank not to be missed), you can visit a museum or two, do a bit of shopping and catch a concert at the Hollywood Bowl or The Ford theatre. The bars and clubs are open for even more entertainment. It is always fun to visit and plan to spend at least 4-5 hours there.

Hollywood Visit
While visiting LA we took the time to drive out to briefly see some of Hollywood. We parked at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center which has a huge parking garage and is surprisingly affordable at $1 per $15 minutes. They also advertise $2 parking for up to 2 hours if you buy something within the complex. All we had time for was to stroll down Hollywood Boulevard, check out the Chinese Theatre and see the Hollywood Walk of Fame which was enough for me. There will be tons of people and it isn’t as glamorous as it’s made out to be but it’s a good thing to go do once while visiting the Los Angeles area.

No matter how gritty Hollywood has become its still Hollywood and you need to visit it for the whole Los Angeles Experience. Come really early before the crows and snap a photo of the walk of fame, tour the Chinese Theatre and have lunch at Mussos and Frank Grill, Hollywoods oldest diner where all the celebrities dined. Afterwards head up to Griffith Observatory and take a picture of the Hollywood sign. By now you have done Hollywood.

Better with the HOHO bus !
The first day in L.A. we took the HOHO bus to get a general view of the city and more specifically Hollowood . We were impressed by the glamour , the history around the cinema industry and the famous buildings that we had earded about ! On the second day , we decided to walk on Hollywood Boul. to have a closer look at things and we were a bit disappointed as everything is very commercial , the sidewalks are dirty and there is always someone trying to sell something ! The bus is a better option !
