Love Solidcore. The instructors here are great and the classes are always fun and difficult. Only downside is this studio is SO HOT AND HUMID IN THE SUMMER. Honestly it's a bit of an issue because you start slipping on the machines. But 5/5 if they can get the a/c working.

Wow! What a great workout. I took a class with Skylar this afternoon as part of the Baltimore Fitness Crawl. I am so happy I did. What a great concept and what an excellent workout. What do I love about it? Well first, Skylar was so sweet. I have never used these machines before and I typically do yoga and not reformer workouts, the concept here is small micro movements that tire out the muscles and tone down to the bone. My arms were shaking and I appreciate how Skyler would correct my form when I was out of alignment. The studio is clean, spacious, fun, and it's a great workout with lovely people.

What to expect.
Be prepared to sweat, be prepared to not be good at it your first time. Consider trying out several classes to become proficient at using the machine as well as transitioning from exercise to exercise. Bring a towel, bring water, bring high energy and get ready to enjoy yourself.

I can already tell I am going to be sore tomorrow (in a good way).
I am very excited to add Solid Core to my workout routine, give it a try, I know you will love it too.

I love the workout, the coaches, and the community. When I'm under the blue lights and the coach has some awesome music playing, everything else in my life melts away and I'm fully present in the moment. That's a beautiful thing. Over the last 12 weeks, I've gone 3-4 times per week and my body has changed noticeably. I'm stronger and have more energy in my day-to-day life.

Wow that was a tough workout! I'm not sure I'll be coming back haha I'm still sore after 4 days. But it was definitely a lot of fun but still no six pack for me.

This is THE boutique fitness studio to join. The workout is no joke - I immediately started sweating and quaking when class started, and as someone who thinks of myself as decently fit, I would hope that whatever class I take would be worth every minute there (or else I could just do my own workouts). This is a type of class that would make sense to add in 1-2x/week to your workout routine (or else you'd be constantly sore all the time). This was my second time taking a reformer class and first time here but it wasn't too hard to figure out + the instructor made sure to help me. Loved the small class size, the electric blue lighting in the otherwise dark room, the music, and the instructor's energy. Great location too. The instructor even gave me a shoutout at the end for my first class and the girl next to me even told me good job when the class was over -- I can see why it's a cult!

This used to be my home studio, and boy how I miss it! My home studio is now in Annapolis since I work in Annapolis, but of the two, Baltimore is my favorite! All of the instructors are amazing, my favorites are Jaime S., Olivia, and Samantha Redman! I usually go to the 7am classes and Jaime teaches that time on Tuesdays and Thursdays and you know her classes are popular when every single class of hers is waitlisted! So if you're brand new and want to try her out, make sure you sign up for her class at least a week ahead of time! Although normally even if you're on a waitlist for a class, you are 90% sure you're gonna make it in.

Anyway, the other things this studio has that annapolis doesn't is a code to get into the studio (but I guess there's more foot traffic in this area.. and even though it's the nicer part of Baltimore, it's still Baltimore!), they have a changing room separate from bathrooms, and they have lockers (however, I never used them and I've heard the locks don't work properly half the time). The vibe here is just so much more amazing. They actually have a seating area where people waiting for the next class wouldn't be stuck staring at the people in the current class like if you're at Annapolis. I love the studio manager here (Olivia) and I just all in all really miss Jaime. You can tell all of the staff are close and I just really miss the homey feel of the studio.

Aside from my undying love of the studio, the classes are great. I'm an unlimited member and go at least 4 times a week. Every class is different and I love that you have different muscle groups they focus on each day so you really can get a full body workout in a week (with different leg/butt and arm/back/chest focus areas daily). I never had ab or arm definition until I started going here, so if you're looking to tone up, then this is the workout you need! I hit both my 100th and my 200th class at this studio (both with Summer Abdullah, whom I also love!). So needless to say, this studio will always have a special place in my heart.

Always challenging and the class is small enough that instructors are able to focus on form. Highly recommend!

No matter how in shape you think you are, Solidcore will challenge you. It is a much more intense version of pilates. The instructors are great about giving instructions and helping to modify if you want. They will make sure you know what to do and feel oriented on the machine. Your legs will be shaking, but that means you are working hard! It is a really fun workout with music and I recommend everyone should try it once. It's now a permanent part of my workout routine. I will say especially in the beginning I recommend against going several times per week because you will be SORE but in a good way.

There is free one hour parking out front. I have ClassPass so can go 3x per month with that. Otherwise the classes are pretty pricey, but worth it if you'll go.
