definitely so hard , BUT I feel like that's the point ? get ready to sweat and leave sore !!

The studio itself was very clean and the bathrooms had everything one could need which is awesome !
Also there is lockers for one to put their things !!

Great workout! Instructor is knowledgeable and friendly. The place could use some deep cleaning under the machines and the restrooms. Overall, I would go back for a class.

Ive been going to solidcore for almost 2 years now. It is a great workout. It's a physical and mental workout and really doesn't get easier, you just get stronger. If it's your first time I would recommend going to a beginner or intro class. My favorite coach is Lauren, she is the best

Very intense full body workout! If this is your first class I recommend maybe arriving 15 mins before the class actually begins so that you can claim your spot, place your things in a locker and even do some pre-stretching because I got there just in time and had to jump straight into which was a bit overwhelming. Although, thoughout the course of the class I enjoyed the encouragement coming from the instructor, how clean the facility was and the workout itself wasn't like any other workout I've done so this was pretty cool!

Crystal City only has one location on the map for ClassPass, so I decided to give it a try. I had the pleasure of taking a class with the head coach, Nina. She was able to show me around and told me about the different resistance level springs.

The full body session targeted the inner thighs and core.
I didn't think I would sweat during class but I literally felt sweat dripping down my arms and my face. Pilates on the reformer with Nina will challenge you! You'll work out muscles you never thought ever existed until class.

There are self-locking lockers and two gender neutral bathrooms.
Both bathrooms have toiletries for your personal use -- tampons, hair ties, Bobby pins, hair spray, deodorant spray, etc.

It can be on the more premium side in terms of price (drop in class is $40), but if you have classpass or a monthly membership, it's worth it if you want to commit to Pilates and a strong body!
I recommend solidcore!

Let me give it to you straight- solidcore is not for the faint of heart. Will you feel like you are dying the whole time? Yes. Will every muscle in your body be begging you to stop? Yes. For the entirety of the class, I am wishing it was over. However, after 6 months of doing solidcore, I feel that my fitness has been elevated to a level I didn't think was possible. I have never received so many compliments and the workout classes I used to go to before now feel easy. I also appreciate this studio's extremely flexible class times- you can go to a class basically whenever you want. Also, since the coaches follow a formula, you know you will get a great workout each time. I have NEVER left wishing I worked out harder. The studio is super flexible and, responsive and easy to contact through their email if you ever have any issues with class scheduling or classes that are expiring. If you are thinking about trying solidcore, I would give yourself at least 3 classes before you decide if it's for you or not because the class structure and using the machine is an adjustment. Definitely would recommend for those looking for a challenge!

Amazing instructors - Kylee, Dani, Ellie, and Bronte are all rockstars!

By far and away, the best workouts I've ever done.

Amazing workout, amazing instructors! I have been working out regularly for 50 years, nothing else compares.

Great work out, I've become a regular and really loving it. This location doesn't have great parking soo it's a bit annoying going later in the day.

[Solidcore] has been referred to as pilates on steroids. I originally found [solidcore] through ClassPass when I was furloughed and used the opportunity to get in shape. I work out regularly and it is literally the most physically challenging thing I've ever done! It's a 50-minute high intensity, low impact full body workout that builds strength and endurance. It never gets easier- you only get stronger. I did barre at least five times a week prior to the pandemic, so I was accustomed to the shaky feeling of achieving muscle failure. But with barre, I started to get bored as the class format was the same and I sometimes felt like I was repeating classes during the week. Every day in [solidcore] focuses on two different muscle groups, so you don't get bored. As an unlimited member since November 2021, I've been going regularly, checking out different studios in the DMV, and definitely see results. I now have definition in my muscles that I've never seen before! I primarily go to Crystal City, which is a relatively new studio- it's huge with 19 [sweatlanas]! All of the coaches are amazing, encouraging and give you personalized attention to improve your form, which helps you get a better workout- you can really feel the difference with minor adjustments.

I highly recommend newcomers start with the full body workout to get familiar with the equipment, terms, moves, etc.

[Solidcore] is addictive. It is expensive, but worth it. So, bring on the shakes!

Perfect combo of cardio and body weight workout for instant alignment. First class and I'm hooked! The instructor guided every movement seamlessly. You have your own peice of equipment and can work at your own pace while receiving ques and modifications. So you have the privacy to focus on your form and hands-on real-time pros helping you achieve your goal. First class and I already improved my posture. I truly enjoyed the experience- highly recommend it!

Third reviews the charm! This place recently renovated so the issue of sunlight beaming in is gone; also seems like acoustics have gotten better as well as it's not quite as loud as before. I love taking classes with Dani, David, or May and their instruction is awesome and vibes are great. Still one of the most challenging classes I've taken to date and I love the soreness that lingers days after. They got nice new lockers too!

This is the most challenging workout I have ever done. It goes quickly for the most part. I love the instructors and definitely can tell it is helping me get results!

I don't think I could be any more obsessed with this workout & community! I've been doing SolidCore for around 2 years and think i've done over 200 classes and I can't get enough! I used to take class 4 times a week but just added OrangeTheory into my workout so I've moved my membership down to 2 classes a week which I still think is very effective!

I started taking classes at the Ashburn studio and then switched over to Ballston when I switched jobs and I think every studio is great! The coaches at this studio are all awesome and super helpful when you have questions.

Overall, this is probably the hardest workout that i have ever done and it doesn't get any easier which is the best part since it's always new and challenging. It is a must try, you won't be dissapointed!

I am so impressed with not only this workout, but this studio and it's instructors. I came for the first time yesterday and took Amy's class. As someone who frequents high end fitness studios like Barry's, Flywheel, Soul Cycle, etc I was pleasantly surprised by how down to earth and friendly everyone was. Amy's class was amazing, the directions were crystal clear. At no point did I feel confused and I always felt supported and encouraged while the workout was still super challenging. It was an awesome introduction to Solidcore. Today I took Ivana's class and again, super friendly and welcoming and amazing upbeat training style. While I don't live in the area, so I may not be back for awhile I definitely wanted to leave a review for these awesome ladies and their killer class.

Not to mention the studio was very clean and easy to maneuver around. The instructors always correct your form so you are doing the move effectively. Also this class is great for people with injuries. I had a bad skiing injury that was made worse by falling through a dock and often my joints in one leg hurt after intense classes. With this class I was more sore than I have been for awhile but my joints didn't hurt at all! Can't wait to take another class when I'm back in the area!

I've tried a lot of modalities and studios, and in my opinion, so many are more hype than workout and may be better at delivering experiences than internal results. This is for real, and I'm happy to shell out cash to them because it's seriously challenging and purposeful, the work is smart, and it's not something I could do on my own. I get humbled and I leave sore in only the right ways. I was a fan within the 90 seconds of my first class, and I'd recommend it to anyone who considers themselves fit and wants that extra something to get stronger yet.

That said, I agree with the reviewer who likened their cueing system to an auctioneer. I've been to five classes, and probably catch about 25% of what the coach says (less as I get more fatigued). I'd encourage the company to rethink the strategy of continuous, urgent vocalization. Give the cues some time to land; say 25% less to be heard 75% more. Your coaches' communicative impact would be so much greater if they actually said a bit less.

I've tried about every version of Pilates, barre, and reformer classes and this is the most intense workout I've ever done. I've had three different instructors and all have been great at working the room, correcting postures, and giving direction. I'm attending more beginner classes than regular to continue to focus on form and still get a tremendous if slightly shorter workout.

One star taken off because the acoustics are DREADFUL. Maybe I'm just too old but my ears just don't pick out many of the instructions and I'm still too new to know what everything is called.
