I love this studio and Solidcore in general. Would absolutely recommend Evan and Jaime’s classes, they are SO GREAT. It’s a challenging class for sure but for those new to fitness you can always make adjustments to have more support throughout class. Cannot recommend enough!

always feel challenged in every class and can see my body transform with consistency

I really like the studio space at this Solidcore location. It's huge, with a light, airy vibe. It's not crowded, so you get personalized attention. The front desk and the instructors are super cool. The lockers even have USB outlets to charge your phone. There's also a small changing room that fits only one person... this is the first I've come across, since the other locations don't have changing rooms.

Took my first class today with Shannon and it was a very welcoming experience. Great instruction and very encouraging / motivated teaching style for first timers. It's a tough but very effective and efficient workout!

Took a class here the other day, i prefer other branches, this studio is very big, its bard for the instructor to focus on everyone if class full..

Love going to bodyrok and all the locations are awesome! The staff are always so friendly and the instructors are all nice. This locations is my go to location and I have always had a good experience! I do enjoy bodyrok more than Solidcore.

I have been to so many solidcore locations and this one is by far my favorite due to its location and customer service.

I love working out here and I especially love the late evening autumn vibe here.
You do get results with consistency and the right diet. They don't have a changing room but there's a bathroom. Bring your lock for the locker.

Really good experience! The class was exhausting and intense but the instructors were really good and helped me out a lot since it was my first class. That truly made my experience so much better.

Milan is incredible. It was the earliest class and she came in with the best energy. I had never taken her class but she was so welcoming and open that I felt super safe in the class. Can definitely see why she’s a pro coach! Love her! I feel like Solidcore is super transparent about their class and their approach. It’s definitely not easy but I’ve never seen results this fast with any other workout class.

I tried to find a Lagree studio close to where I was staying in Chelsea. I lucked out with finding Solidcore - Chelsea that was located 5 minutes walking-distance from me. I've also been wanting to try Solidcore back at home, so it worked out that I got to try Solidcore for my drop-in visit.

I noticed that the studio was minimal.
They didn't appear to sell any merch, water, or even grip socks (I forgot mine). That being said, i was informed that I could use the megareformer with barefeet. I was relieved that I wasn't going to be denied for class! I noticed that was actually a common practice, unlike my home studio that requires grip socks during class.

The Solidcore space reminded me a lot like how Soul Cycle is.
Dimly lit, music bumping, basically working out in a club. I'm here for it.

I took Marcus' 11:15am full body class, and it was fantastic.
He was such a great instructor and helped to encourage deeper or more challenging movements by adjusting my form. I also appreciated him spending the time to go over how their megareformers worked. Only major difference I saw was the location of the springs on the machine, but I also thought it was cool how the resistance of the springs were recommended based on how far along you are in your Solidcore practice.

VERY INTENSE WORKOUT, BUT IT FEELS GOOD. I THINK I WAS IN AN ADVANCED CLASS BUT I DIDN'T DO BAD WITH THE INSTRUCTOR'S HELP. NICE

Great [solidcore] location, right off of the 6 train. I've really enjoyed the classes here. There are lockers for storing your stuff, but i've felt comfortable leaving most of my stuff (no valuables) in a bag by the jacket rack. Area is nice and close to Ktown.

There's a small waiting room at the entrance with a decent amount of seating for when you're there early before a class starts.
Two bathrooms which are clean and spacious (though, I wish they would put in some hooks in the bathroom for hanging bags while changing, etc. I don't love leaving my bag on the ground), and with basic toiletries you might find at a gym.

Equipment is in good condition, and the classes definitely fill up the times that I've gone.

Just tried out Solidcore's W 57 studio in Hells Kitchen, and let me tell you, it's a real sweat fest!

The workout is super challenging, with slow, controlled movements that really target those muscles.
The instructors are awesome at pushing you to your limits, and even though it's tough, you can feel yourself getting stronger with each session. This one also commemorated AAPI Heritage month and had a bulletin board where you could share your favorite AAPI owned businesses. Really nice addition to the neighborhood and fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Amazing experience! Big studio and attentive front desk & instructor! Remy was so amazing!! I'm a beginner and my friends were trying solidecore for the first time and she was so patient & attentive & supportive! The front desk was also super sweet and offered to take pictures for us! Loved it!

Had my first Solidcore with Caleb this morning and he was wonderful: super supportive, corrected me during the class and made sure I was ok with my injuries, congratulated on my first class when we ended and asked my feedback.

This is a beautiful and fairly spacious studio, but as it is situated between 11th Av and the literal West Side Highway, it is a bit of a schlep from the nearest train station. This may pose an issue if you are running late (they shut the doors 5 min after classes start) or if you had a particularly shaky class (the walk back to the train station is uphill). On the upside, the studio is clean and immaculate, and the coaches are fantastic. I really enjoyed Coach Ruby's class as she is very motivating and offers a lot of different options for adjustments and variations. The studio space itself was roomy enough that I could walk in between machines without worrying about bumping into things-- this is a win in my books. I do wish that the studio had an actual door so that the rooms could fully be dark as it is a little distracting to see people walking in and out of the bathrooms in my peripheral view towards the end of class.

This is my fav Pilates spot in the city. They have a ton of locations and the classes fly by. The instructors are great whether you are brand new or an expert. They give a ton of modifications so you can go at your own pace.

I really liked this studio space as it seemed a little quieter and less crowded, compared to other solidcore locations I have visited thus far. It is located right behind the Holland Tunnel, on a quiet stretch of Hudson St. If you are coming from the train station, I would recommend you take Dominick St as Broome St is closed off.

The size of the studio space is quite large as I did not have to worry about bumping into machines or my classmates during class (which is sadly not the case for all studio locations in the city).
The sweatlana machines are fairly new too-- I did not notice the leather straps or white printing deteriorating on the machines.

There are some cool lockers with USB outlets which you can use to charge your phones, which I have not seen in any other solidcore studio before.
I will say, however, that this studio smells like stinky feet. I'm not sure why or how, but it is something you will notice immediately upon entering the studio.

This was a fairly nice and clean solidcore location. There are no partitions between the studio and the lobby, so you can see the crowd of people waiting outside the door right before class ends. The machines are fairly well kept and the spacing between said machines are not as tight as I found at other locations. There is also seating available in the lobby, which is quite rare. Overall, a busy solidcore location that is extremely popular with the after-work crowd.

The Chelsea location is currently undergoing some renovations but when they are finished, there will be two different studios in one larger space. The studio currently open is a little small and cramped compared to other studios. I bumped into the sweatlana machines a few time which was a painful experience. The staff members are super friendly and will take your name at the door.

Much like the largest Trader Joe's in NYC, this subterranean studio is the largest solidcore location in NYC. To enter, you have to go down a long hallway and a flight of stairs but the studio is easily twice the size of other ones I have been to thus far. The locker room is situated on one side of the space, while the bathrooms and water fountain are on the other end. The machines are a little worn as I noticed some of the markings rubbing off and the leather belts cracking and chipping.

I've had a few classes here with Conor and Carly, both of whom are great instructors. There are always promotions and challenges running at this location too. Definitely one of the more busier and livelier locations!

Solidcore is an incredible type of workout! This Nolita location is great, the studio is somewhat underground, but has good AC and air flow

Decor is very classic Solidcore! Coaches are amazing as always.

Highly recommend!

A+++ fitness experience. Easy to find location with the nicest staff. Booking online was quick and easy. As you walk in, they have lockers to put your stuff and clean restrooms. They make it really easy and welcoming for first timers. The regulars in the class are also very welcoming about form and the flow of class. Will was one of the best class fitness instructors I’ve had in a very long time. Would highly recommend.

I like this location a lot. The instructors are great. Highly recommend a class with Jaime, Rob C, or Jada.

First time is always hard so make sure you come 15 mins early for demo.

The studio itself is nice. I think it is the perfect size and I don't feel too cramped. The bathroom is well stocked with feminine hygiene stuff

One star off because the machines here do look kinda old and when I pull my cables it doesn't feel as smooth.

I really enjoyed class with Sam who I think is the head coach there and also classes with SMC Rob C!

I've been here several times already, my first pilates class ever was also here and I really really loved it! Especially the atmosphere. Plus I compared the prices for pilates in Brooklyn and here, and for some reason the prices here are much lower even though this place is def better than the ones I've been to in Brooklyn. So if you're still wondering whether or not to come here, the answer is simple, yes! :)

I now see why Lori Harvey has the abs she has! Pilates is no joke! This was my first class and to say I'm sore is an understatement. The coach was amazing, her name is Erika. While leading the class she would check in to see if my form was good. I loved that she made an effort to remember everyone's name and would shout people out randomly. It was definitely a good workout and I'm going to be sore.

This was my first Pilates class and wow! Coach Erika was amazing! She lead us through an intense workout from start to finish. 40 mins went by so fast! Everything is fast paced But she was willing to explain what was each pose and how to correct it. I'm definitely going to feel it tomorrow

I thought I was in shape before trying Solidcore.... This workout is insane in the best way possible!!! I don't recommend if you've never done Pilates but if you're up to the challenge go for it! The staff is so friendly, motivating & helpful. Can't wait to get stronger with them!

Sam is a great instructor! Very patient and motivating. The workout is hard but very rewarding and requires engaging core muscle all the time. Worth trying

My favorite boutique workout! Have loved all the instructors at this location and appreciate the wide range of class times. This is a smaller studio than the other locations and has limited amenities (no showers). I had never done pilates before and the coach quickly got me up to speed and I feel like by my 2nd or 3rd class I had the hang of it.

My first time coming here was my first time doing Pilates and I'm so hooked. I have joint pain from doing sports and this is such an intense yet low impact workout. The instructors are all super informative, keep the classes exciting, and they really push you. I'm used to doing weight training in the gym and I totally underestimated these classes. I leave feeling great, and then I'm sore as hell the next day! Definitely check it out if you haven't.

(The space is always clean, staff is always super friendly, and the workout room is low light with lots of mirrors so you can feel comfortable and check your form. Love it!)

Solid workout at [solidcore]. I found this on ClassPass and had heard good things about reformer pilates. As a regular weight lifter, this was a fun and challenging way to workout during vacation.

I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but the instructor Laura was super friendly.

Legs were def wobbly at the end- lots of pulsing with resistance from the pilates reformer machine. I would recommend bringing a towel since you do get very sweaty and make sure your brain is turned on because you have to listen pretty closely to the instructions as they are given very quickly. That said, the instructor is helpful if you look a bit lost.

All in all a positive experience!

I've heard this class was tougher than other reformer pilates classes so I was super scared going in but I loved it!

It was my first time and the instructor was friendly and explained everything to me before class. Throughout class the instructor lets everyone know how many springs they recommend depending on how many classes they've taken, due to COVID they didn't due any hands on but would throw in tips to better our form. The music really pushes you and the energy in the room was great.

After class the instructor came to me and asked me how I liked it, if I had questions, and gave me tips (which is rare in boutique fitness studios). I walked out feeling great and now a day later I'm sore lol but worth it.

I’ve gone to a few classes at solid core’s NoMad location and I’m already obsessed! Such a challenging but rewarding workout. I most recently took a class with instructor Travis, he had great energy and kept me motivated. I look forward to these classes every week!!

Had my first class with Megan T. a few weeks ago and I'm coming back to write this review because I'm still sore and wanted to shout out the Nomad location (Travis!!) These workouts are no joke, they will kick your ass but bring you back for more. As a newbie it may seem overwhelming, but go in with an open-mind and have some fun! They'll take care of the rest.

DAMN. I love solidcore but normally go to soho. This location is about twice the size and is super nice. It's a little bit in a cave (no cell service lol) but there's WiFi.

Workout was with Dani and I LOVED HER. Like I hated her in the best way. She killed me. Hardest workout I've ever done. Highly highly recommend her class. It was heavy on the arms and I was sore for days.

Front desk guy was very funny and nice.

If I have one SUPER minor complaint it's that the bathrooms are labeled by gender symbols and I had to look up the symbol for women before walking in LOL. I would recommend they write the words "women" and "men" or better yet switch to gender neutral!

Anyway loved it will be back thx Dani you're a monster

I encourage all fitness enthusiasts to check out Solidcore! Starting Pilates here has been a total game changer and I definitely feel like my core has gotten stronger after just a few classes. It's the most intense low impact workout I've ever done in my life, and I walk out of each class feeling amazing.

Jacob is an amazing instructor. He's full of energy, passionate, kind, and will help walk you through the motions as a beginner.

This class was SO fun and left me so sore the next day. I felt like it was such a great workout and not that difficult to pick up. Even as a first timer with little instruction I felt like I could keep up. The instructor was super funny and energetic. I was definitely pumped up as I was working out and the music was good. I seriously can barely walk up the stairs today.

I did the 50 minute full body class and the vast majority of the time was spent on abs and legs/butt. There were a few minutes left at the end for arms which is not my thing so I was glad it was only the tail end.

It's definitely an expensive class - I booked through ClassPass and it's about double the credits of similar studios. On top of that, there are no showers. I was also a little concerned that we were given a wipe at the end to wipe down our machines which didn't seem sufficient. Lastly, the studio was superrrr hot so I felt disgusting at the end and was sweating a ton.

With all of that said, I loved the class and will definitely be back!

I love this newer location of Solidcore. I'm fairly active and try to integrate all sorts of training (free weights, heavy lifting, cycling, pilates, etc. etc.), but Solidcore is always the challenge of all challenges. You are guaranteed to be sore the next day, not matter what the focused body area is for the workout of that day. I physically cannot do the workout more than 3-4 times at the absolute maximum a week because of how effective it is. The type of resistance you get from the machines and workout here are unparalleled.

I think there's a perception that pilates is easy because it's low impact. If you or any of your friends think that, I highly suggest they try reformer pilates, specifically at Solidcore. It's like the Barry's of pilates (lol). It is a bootcamp style class with very upbeat music in a dark setting.

I love how spacious, clean and new this location is. As always, the teachers are incredible. They really push you without making you feel uncomfortable/bad.

New location just opened up this week so I took the class with my mom and we both loved it! Jacob was our instructor and he was great and hysterical and always there to correct our form and help if needed. You really FEEL THE BURN !!! In this class. I know I'm going to be feeling it tomorrow. They have lockers with locks outside and a single men's bathroom and then a women's bathroom with three stalls and one sink. Have face wash ear plugs hair ties all that. And they have two changing rooms. Not sure that I saw any showers ?

All in all great class.

Yes! Another [solidcore] in the city. This time in our beloved Nolita neighborhood. This location is similar to the Dumbo location as it has 2 rows in the studio. This is my first [solidcore] location where you go downstairs. Kind of reminds me of Flywheel Lincoln center's barre class location, but instead of black, it's white. Washrooms are gendered and stalled, unlike others where it's unisex and single bathrooms. Sarah from the Williamsburg location is teaching this class today. She is one of my favorite instructors at Solidcore. Can't wait to start.

CONGRATS SOLIDCORE ON YOUR 72nd location!!!

I don’t usually write a review unless it’s a bad one but this studio is really amazing! They are so nice and so accommodating. I usually stick to Robert or malia. Would highly recommend this for a great workout!

Solidcore is essentially a Reformer Pilates workout taught like a bootcamp with positive, encouraging attitudes. You're consistently moving for 50-minutes straight focusing on muscle failure, to take your strength to new heights. I came in knowing that my weakest areas of my body are my core strength and balance. I'm now 25 classes in, and I've seen immense improvements as my body continues to get stronger.

Just like any workout, you'll have some instructors you like more than others. But as a whole, this is one of now 4 studios in NYC (Chelsea, Soho, Williamsburg are others, with more on the way), so plenty to choose from. The workout itself is intense - that said, if you're a beginner to Solidcore, or even to Pilates, it's easy to catch on after a few classes, so don't sweat it (at least not too much, you're working out after all!).

The instructors try their best to learn your names, which is a nice touch. One thing to keep in mind: Solidcore studios do *not* have showers, so you'll need to be able to freshen up elsewhere if you're headed to the office, or out for the evening.
