My daughter started doing this and loved it. She said I should try it. My main exercise is weight training but I am familiar with most forms of exercise. Just did my first class today with my daughter and Wow!! This was a major workout! Focused on core and stabilizer muscles while also hitting big muscle groups. Instructor was great and staff very friendly. I was the only guy in the class but felt very comfortable. I can see if I continued with Solidcore my gains in the weight room will increase! This class was so hard as a first timer but I loved the pump! The instructor paid close attention to each person in the room and was great at helping me with my form. The ambiance is really nice in there and so is the music. I would highly recommend and would totally come back!

Once you get that down, I can see why everyone loves these classes! Jessica was great at explaining everything to us. Rely on Tyler’s classes for a good burn! I think she’s one of the newer instructors but she as good as some of the seasoned instructors! She provides hands on assistance as needed and she’s been a tremendous help in making these classes challenging and fun to return to feeling stronger.
i liked the class ambiance, the instructor was very uplifting and positive. As a first timer she was very helpful explaining modifications to the workout so it could be attainable to everyone. Aside from that she was very sweet and the class structure flowed well!!

Avalon is an interesting shopping experience. Great selection of stores and restaurants. Valet parking and free surface parking available. Has a "downtown" feel. Doesn't feel like a mall.

First time at this (not Pilates) thing today, thought it was gonna be light work but it was pretty hard and good. Wowww Manali was very nice and made sure I was learning what was going on even though I was slow and confused 78.9% of the time. The gym seems pretty welcoming, every time I felt weak and looked down I saw the notes on the floor. Greg recommended.

I recently joined [Solidcore] and I've been enjoying it, but struggling a bit at times to follow along or hit my stride. Today I had my 8th class, and it was my first time with Coach Jermaine. Holy cow, he was incredible!!! He was clear with instruction, gave relatable examples, moved at the perfect pace, and really made me feel like I belonged. I felt like I finally got it. We loved this beautiful Mall! There is a very diverse selection of stores with something for everybody. Both young and old have many choices of where to shop to fit their needs. Would love to go at Christmas time and stay in the hotel, but its pricey. It also stays sold out a lot. Can't wait to go back and shop some more!

Since this is a relatively new studio, the equipment is pretty new. There are two bathrooms at this location which are really nice along with lockers to store your stuff. If you do stop by, make sure to bring a towel and water bottle because you can easily break a sweat during class.

Elegant High Street experience
We walked around Avalon in a leisurely pace! After a few window shopping we entered the Crates and Barrel shop and what a collection! This well decorated shop was a great place for shopping! We did purchase a few and walked out! We walked around and sit on the boulevard chairs for sometime! We had a nice time in the Cafe on the boulevard! It was a delightful experience and is recommended for everyone!

Great place but parking sucks. I come here mostly for the Apple Store and Whole foods. But parking is terrible here. They need to figure it out.

Very Pleasant Area
Avalon has a multitude of up-scale stores ready to satisfy one's need to explore or have some "retail therapy". The walking is pleasant, and the area is attractive. There was a Tesla store in which I had many questions answered and was able to closely examine a couple of their cars. A cinema complex and restaurants and ice cream shops will satisfy other needs.

I was having an extremely trying day on 6/22/22. There were 3 gentleman at The Avalon Hotel who worked in valet that really touched my heart! 💝
One gentleman with a curly Afro saw I was very upset and sat a water next to me and smiled. It may sound like a small gesture to someone but it was huge to me. I had been sitting there for hours on a bell cart trying to sort a problem. (From about 9:30am-7pm) Then came two more angels Solomon and John who sat and talked with me throughout the day and encouraged me. They found me a charger for my cell phone. It was my business cell, so I really needed it. John even gave me 20 dollars and offered valet to take me to get food because they knew I had not eaten since the day before because they cared enough to ask. I was unsure where my belongings were moved to, which included my purse. I just want to give a big THANK YOU and let everyone know that these staff members put a big ray of sunshine in a cloudy day for me. They are a complete asset to your company and I would 1000% be back at this hotel and tell everyone I know to also visit this hotel! Please tell these 3 sweet gentleman how much I appreciate them!!!
favorite mall in Alpharetta
one of my favorite places to get lost while in Alpharetta. The shops are upscale, cool and quality as well as comfortable. The eating places are various kinds and excellent. The hotel is awesome too. Lots of variety. Much to see. Just go for a walk or a run or look through the shops. This is a great place
Reminds me of Lenox Square in the early 80's
What a WONDERFUL shopping experience. Having watched the decline of Lenox Square over the last several decades, our family LOVES going to the Avalon where we feel safe walking and not having to look over our shoulders for fear of being a crime victim or having our car burglarized. So nice to see families of all ages walking and enjoying the facilities.
Fortunately, there is no food court, like your find in other shopping venues, offering over priced fast food improperly cooked by teenagers. Avalon offers some EXCELLENT dining choices, coffee shops, dessert bars, and ice cream.
The only complaint is the on-street parking is a PAIN!! It requires an app that is confusing and time consuming.

Lovely on a Summer Evening
Strolling through Avalon, enjoying the lovely shops and restaurants, my friends and I were even more pleased when we heard live music coming from one of the open areas/courtyards. People danced and sang along. It was fantastic.

This place is just about 2 miles from my home. It is a wonderful place to shop, dine, relax, and take in a movie or outside event. I take my grands there when they visit for the summer. The teenagers walk around and shop while the little ones play in the indoor/outdoor play area. There is something for everyone. I love it durng the Christmas holiday season when the ice skating rink is open.

If you want shopping , entertainment, great food choices and grocery shop all in the same place, well this is your SPOT. the Avalon is a safe , clean , fun place to check out in the Alpharetta , GA area. My experience staying here at the Avalon hotel has been great. I would like to give a special thanks to Dominique, Cathy, Edith, Eugene (maintenance) Tomika (front desk) and the housekeeping staff. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Staff went above and beyond especially with everything going on. House keepers were on it, keeping the rooms clean and presentable. Room service was fast and affordable with contactless delivery. Amazing. Front desk made checking in and out effortless and timely! Will be returning in the near future.

Avalon Business Trip
Avalon area is one of the nicer upscale mixed use retail areas I have seen. Great restaurants and higher end retail. Nice clean walking areas and Hotel Avalon is very nice. I now stay in this area ever business trip to area.

Lovely day having lunch, eating ice cream, window shopping and actually shopping with family visiting from of town. Great central location to meet up with family/friends from different areas in the Atlanta metro area.
Fun Area!
This is a great upscale venue of shopping and entertainment. It is super safe and has good parking. You can park in the garage or on the street. There are pricey meters, but it's worth it.
Always a good time here
Parking can be difficult... if you don’t know where to look. I always park in the garage left of the hotel. 8000 Avalon, or the one across from the Apple store. Valet is cheap, so if it’s super packed you can always do that. I go to Avalon all the time from Atlanta, and it’s definitely worth it. The Apple store is beautiful, True Food Kitchen is always a great place to eat, if you’re hungry or just want a snack.
Parking isn't a problem
$7.00 for valet parking. Worth it as it puts you right in the center of the area. Window shopping galore and excellent choice of dining. Even on a cold day it is fun, and I'm not a shopper.
Something for Everyone
We love to go to Avalon because it has so many different things to do. You can people watch, window shop, shop, eat, or go to the moves. That doesn't even cover their special events that are amazing!
There is a variety and stores and restaurants so everyone can find something to appeal to them. It is perfect for a date night or an afternoon outing with the kids.

Great Outdoor Shopping Experience
Ideal for those who love an outdoor shopping (or window shopping) experience in a very pleasant place. Ideal place to visit in those sunny (but not very hot days). Perfect to visit during the late morning and afternoon - great places to eat and also to watch the latest movies on the big screen. Avoid visiting it during the weekends as it is usually very crowded.

We didn’t get to visit all the stores but the area itself is lovely and has plenty to keep you busy—particularly if you’re over the age of 12.
It’s walkable and has a plethora of restaurants and shopping options and is situated in a beautiful area of Alpharetta.
We plan to visit again soon!
Gezellig winkelcentrum
Wat een leuke plek om te bezoeken. Het lijkt op een verbeterde versie van Maasmechelen village te België. Mooie straten, prachtige winkels, veel parkeergelegenheid. Gezelligheid troef. Er zijn vele restaurantjes, diverse winkels, er rijdt een mini treintje rond voor de kids. Het moet er leuk wonen zijn. Het is een levendige buurt.
Sundance store was the highlight!
I was pretty disappointed with the rest of the stores with a few exceptions. They were not of the quality of Sundance merchandise

The Avalon is so beautiful. I love all the restaurants lining the outdoor courtyard, it is difficult to choose which one to try each time. It is enjoyable to sit outside and watch the children play.

Upscale shopping area in Atlanta
Great stores, fun and expensive restaurants, and a nice central square with some good activities, especially for families. Go for Valet parking as the parking can get ridiculous.
Great shopping and Night Life in North Atlanta
Avalon is a live/work/play community located on the Northern end of Atlanta. It features many great restaurants to satisfy most tastes and great shopping with the likes of West Elm and Vineyard Vines. It also houses a large Apple store and also a Tesla showroom (come buy your tesla). Great for an afternoon stroll, dinner, and shopping, or just drinks. If you get bored there is a Regal movie theatre as well. Something here for everyone - you can easily burn a few hours here.
Good Way to Spend the Day
We come here about once a month for shopping and dining. Plenty of great options and lots to do. While my wife gets her hair done I can make all the shopping stops I need or sit using the free WiFi and get caught up on my work.
The only problem is the parking situation. If you get here early there is plenty of parking. Get here around noontime and your best bet is to use the valet parking for about $7.
Great movie theater and restaurants. Right off GA400 so easy to get to.
Birthday Staycation
The hotel was lovely. The atmosphere was elegant so if you are there to attend a more formal event it is perfect but its also laid back and if you are there just to relax it is perfect too. The room was nice and the bed comfortable.
We dined at the South City Kitchen located in the hotel and the food and service was excellent, just make sure you make a reservation. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay.
Spent the day at Avalon
I spent a day shopping at Avalon. The shops are very nice (a little expensive) but you can find deals. The restaurants are great. El Felix is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Atlanta. You will love it!
Worth the drive!
Great restaurants, shops, a theater and hotel, and a busy but casual atmosphere. Try the Steak Tacos al Carbon at El Felix. Awesome flavors.

We LOVE Avalon! It’s so nice to be able to walk outdoors, great Shops and food! LOVE that Whole Foods is a walk away especially.

All in one location, movies, restaurants, stores, cafes, ice cream shops, playground for kids. You can choose what you want. Just plan ahead during weekend booking restaurants for dinner.
Cool area
Very comfortable, upscale area to shop and relax with friends. Several great restaurants, movie theater and shopping. I actually never shop here but, there are some good stores. Great people watching as well. Lots of folks will say ‘family friendly’ and I suppose it is, but, there are some cool bars and places to hang for adults. Enjoy!

Beautiful and upscale outdoor shopping district
Truly refreshing atmosphere for an outdoor upscale shopping venue. This place is family oriented and loads of fun to just browse and or to have fun time with friends. Don’t forget to enjoy the delicious ice cream in some of the most sheikh parlors or even enjoy a romantic meal in the restaurants that line up the streets.
Great shopping and dining
Great place just to walk around and people watch. It had awesome shopping and I loved the grassy area - they had a bags tournament the night I was there. So unique. It was busy even on a Tuesday night. Found a fun shirt at a cute boutique!
Great place to kill time and shop around
Beautiful downtown like setting, we parallel parked and used my cc on the meter. My teens took off to Lululemon and I wandered over to the “green” in front of the movie theater. It was A June evening but a cold front had just come thru - and families were picnicking and playing ball on the common green area surrounded by stores restaurants and the theater. I popped into a few stores and then ate alone at the bar in one of the fine restaurants. Very relaxing evening.....You should go......
Great concept
Clean, spacious and comfortable surroundings. Great shopping, good and abundant restaurants, coupled with numerous parking areas make this an enjoyable place to visit.
Lots to do there
Avalon is more than a place to shop, although they have great stores. It's more than a place to eat, although they have great restaurants. Avalon is a destination. There's a whole host of activities, night life, movie theater, outdoor concerts, cornhole, horseshoes, outdoor fire pits, etc. You don't need to be a resident to enjoy all that Avalon has to offer.
Great place to visit for upscale shops and a variety of restaurants.
You can hang out in the courtyard, take in some sun or people watch, grab a bagel, a burger, gelato, pizza - you name it, they have it! Plenty to choose from and they also have a place for kids to play, a place for your dog and even a Whole Foods!
Date night
we were enjoying our visit for a date night weekend in town. Great restaurant options and The Hotel at Avalon is a wonderful destination. Spoil yourself and visit - even if you live nearby.
Convenient for just about anything!
I stayed at the Avalon Hotel , Alpharetta, GA. This hotel is located at the Avalon shopping area, many nice shops, restaurants, movie theater, Whole Foods, pretty much everything you need while on vacation. So close to the quaint town of Alpharetta, GA. The Hotel does not offer a full service menu, but they do offer breakfast with the onsite South City Kitchen in which we ate, but the one in Midtown Atlanta. Great place, good food and drinks! The bar in the hotel and lounge area is very warming and a cozy place to sit and watch people or be on your computer. This place does have a nice small pool area and lounge area on 2nd floor. Very nice and clean, workout area as well. It is so nice to have a Starbucks right inside and just steps out the door to anything else.
Great outdoor shopping center
I always come to the Avalon when I visit family in Alpharetta. It’s a gorgeous, new shopping center that is outdoors. They have great restaurants and cafes spread through the shops. In the center, they host activities for people to attend (ice skating in winter, yoga, etc). Most stores are higher end shopping but not super luxurious brands. I was a little bummed that certain stores closed earlier than the rest of the mall on Sunday evening.
Fabulous Avalon
I love Avalon, an open mall with all sorts of stores, most casual, but last time I was there they were opening a Chanel! they have valet but it is slow so best to park in the decks , restaurants are small but all good and diverse , my favorite is , District III, but there is steak, seafood, pub food etc, just a beautiful shopping experience
upscale
Looking to fill in some spare time we choose to visit this rather new upscale shopping dinning development. We enjoyed walking about like the vagabonds we are but did not go in a single shop.We did have a nice outside small dinner and probably will not return to Avalon and leave it to the affluent.
Cool place
It's a pretty cool pedestrian styled mall. Went for lunch and we will be back to spend an afternoon. Parking is tough.
Visiting my daughter for Lunch
My daughter works in a design center within Avalon. So every couple months I travel up 400 to have lunch. We usually eat at South City Kitchen (amazing chicken livers) or Ted's because it very close to her office. This trip, I stopped in at the Orvis store to get some flies for a fishing trip to Pennsylvania. I caught nothing this last weekend. Lovely mall except for the parking, that sucks.
El Felix restaurant
Great Mexican food and good Marguerita’s. Sat at the bar which was fun. Met some new friends too. Everyone is very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere also.
Great dining options.
We enjoy this shopping experience, especially on nice days. Surface parking can be a bit difficult, but there is usually parking available in the garage, even though it isn't close to many of the stores. Be sure to take an umbrella if there is a chance of rain, which seems to be daily, here recently. Note that the Orvis store has a back door convenient to the surface parking behind their store, if you are lucky enough to find a spot there. Mostly "high-end" stores here, including a large Apple store. You won't find any big box stores, but many boutique type stores. There are several great dining options and even a Whole Foods Market on site. Just don't park in the Whole Foods lot and then go shopping elsewhere, as you just might get a ticket, just ask my daughter...
Classy place to eat and shop in Alpharetta
There are several nice restaurants and shops throughout Avalon. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to going back when there is live music on the lawn.

We meet some friends at Avalon for Dinner at South City and walked the shops after dinner - nice atmosphere to people watch and take in the pretty sites.
Up Scale Shopping Area
While exploring towns north of Atlanta we visited Avalon. Avalon is a unique shopping area that has restaurants and a movie theater.
We checked out various stores and everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was raining when we were there so pedestrian traffic was at a minimum.
Avalon
Took the grand children there during the holidays. They had a ball skating, visiting Santa, and just walking aound. There are several restaurants and a shopping strip for adults.
Close to home!
Love having beautiful shops so close to home! For years Buckhead was the only place to go for an enjoyable shopping day, now I can go up the road all the time.
A freshly built integrated shopping, eating, hotel and office complex
My son and I walked around Avalon after eating at Brine Seafood and experienced all of the new stores and exciting restaurants we could eat at in the future. There are two parking decks that are needed and surface lots around the shopping streets. There is a high class Marriott with a large Starbucks on the ground floor. They have pulled several stores from the North Point Mall area and have added a group of new ones.
Cindys class was 20/10!! I was melting in there. She took the time to focus on every single one of us which is great!!
Best 50 minute workout anywhere. If you want to be fit and strong,while being kind to your body, give it a try!
I loved class SO MUCH. m not even sure I know what my name is after that class. What an amazing experience. The instructor was a gem and incredibly helpful. Even though I had no idea what I was doing I felt comfortable and confident bc of the instructor (thank youuu). Im so excited to keep going and see where this solid core journey takes me!
