The receptionist was very helpful. I was then invited into the exam room by the medical assistant who again was friendly. Finally Sarah Dubinsky NP came to see me after a very short wait and listened attentively to the reason for my visit and took serious my concerns. She gave me a thorough exam and offered me options for treatment and recommendations for follow up. All I can say is that I felt like I was cared for and treated well as a patient; a feeling that is harder to come by in medical offices these days. Definitely recommend this practice and this NP!

This derm office is amazing! Don’t hesitate to go if you need to see a dermatologist. They are professional, friendly and highly competent! Since I’ve been there before so all I have to do is check in and they ask if I’d like to pay the copay now or later!! None of the repetitious pad or paper questions answered over and over! I was stunned. Everyone knows that goes annoyingly with most medical offices! Their availability is great! Their reminders are sufficient. I waited about 3 minutes to be seen and hardly more than 7 mins - 10 mins in general. Who knew going for a medical visit could be professional and pleasant? Usually you get sour faced front desk reception, endless waiting and unfriendly professionals. PA Katelyn is stellar! It’s worth your consideration. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! 😊

I have had all positive experiences with Schweiger. Starting with my caring, friendly and thorough PA Ilse Strauss in the Stony Brook office. Fortunately Ms. Strauss biopsied a suspicious mark on the top of my ear, which turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. I was then referred to Dr. Wendy Lou in the Smithtown office. She is a Moh's surgeon. Dr. Lou performed surgery twice on my ear before getting clear margins. She stitched my ear up like new and that meant 30 plus stitches!!! Her credentials are top notch and I knew I was in the best hands. The surgical office was absolutely immaculate and the staff was very informative and concerned for my comfort. I'd put myself in the capable hands of this office if I needed to again and highly recommend them!

I had to leave them based upon their cutting down are there prescription duration as to a reason to schedule another appointment. I was greatful this place was able to fit me in first thing after the holidays. Being a new patient and all. The staff at the front desk and the medical assistant were all courteous, informative and respectful of privacy. I was seen by Mrs. Koch to discuss some concerns about small cysts in my earlobes and receive treetment. She explained the options, and I was able to get my questions answered. I have a $50 co-pay for specialists, shweiger asks for a $125 deposit which I never heard of. However I can understand if people dont realize they owe a certain % after the $xx.xx. insurance companies pay. And dont pay the doctors. With a follow up in two weeks and a full body skin cancer screening we shall see if the excellent service continues as expected or how the billing department works. Pleased with my visit and would recommend the office.

I had horrible acne scars and after much research decided to do something about it. Christina is the best! She really cares about patient's well-being and knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her to anyone battling acne and/or acne scars!
