Dr. Hayes is the most knowledgeable dermatologist I have had the pleasure to interact on eradicating my melanoma, basil cells, squamous, etc. I have been extremely happy with Dr. Hayes work on my destroyed skin. California Skin Institute, Santa Rosa, has been a fabulous place for me to have the basal cell carcinomas that I have been afflicted with professionally taken care of. I generally need to have MOHS surgery, and Henry Zhu is a master craftsman. I highly recommend the friendly, caring staff at CSI. It is a very comfortable setting for surgical procedures.

The things that I had gone in to see about, he informed me that he wasn't concerned (meaning it wasn't as bad as I was imagining!), but he did notice something I wasn't aware of, that did concern him. Had an absolutely awesome experience here. They were really easy to schedule with and were flexible and understanding when I had to reschedule my first appointment. They made me feel very comfortable and taken care of from start to finish. I was struggling with some adult onset acne that was making me lose my mind and they were so understanding and thorough. They gave me and great explanation of what I specifically had going on with my skin and gave me a few different options for treatment. Even more they worked with my insurance and made sure that I had the best option without spending out of pocket. Very professional and beautiful office as well. Will definitely be returning for all of my cosmetic skin needs in the future.💖

I have been a patient of Dr. Cabral’s since he was a young Doctor down in Fremont, must be close to ten years now. When he left and went to Kaiser I was saddened because he is the best Doctor I have ever seen with a great bedside manner. I was seeing his replacement in Fremont when I noticed a dark mole had returned on my neck. It was originally diagnosed by UCSF as a very suspicious mole and to keep a close look at it in clinic. When I brought it to the attention of the Doctor she said I’m not worried about it let’s take a picture and see you in six months, it’s nothing to worry about. I insisted that she remove it because it looked horrible. Fast forward, two weeks later I get a call from her and asked if I had a few minutes. She said it came back pre Melanoma and that she needed to remove it immediately. That was it for me I couldn’t trust her ever again. If I left it for six months I would have been in trouble. I searched for the heck of it and found Dr. Cabral was working in Santa Rosa. I called he got the biopsy report and we decided to do mohs surgery to remove it. When he saw me he gave me a big hug he always tells his staff I was his first patient. He did one heck of a job no pain great looking small scar you can’t even see but most importantly he saved my life. If that had spread I would have been very ill or worse. I live in Antioch but I choose to drive to Santa Rosa to see Dr. Cabral. Not only is he the nicest Doctor you can ever hope to meet he treats you with respect but also treats you like your a member of his family. The staff from Mary at the front desk to his medical assistants are top notch and so nice and helpful. I hope he stays with CSI if not I will not hesitate to follow him wherever he goes.

Dr. Cabral is a GREAT PHYSICIAN! He was courteous, professional and friendly. I was really worried about a new large mark on my back. He evaluated it and treated it with an easy to follow treatment plan. In less than a week the mark was gone. I have been to other dermatologists that tend to be rude and dismissive about my skin care needs—Dr. Cabral is nothing like that!
