I would highly recommend anyone that hasn’t ever gone to an office for skin issues to come here for Nicole Tardio the PA. I have had terrible experiences in the past with medical professionals not listening (especially being a woman of color) but Nicole Tardio the PA listened to all of my concerns and examined me very throughly before giving me my options. She was so sweet and had great bedside manner! She is my go to because I know I'm always taken care of in her hands.

I saw Gita Roy for my first visit at this new practice. I wanted to start screening my skin annually since I have a lot of sun damage. Gita was amazing, and I’ll be a lifetime patient here. She was thorough, and listened to my concerns. I had a mole I was worried about, and even though she said it was okay to observe it over time, she understood that I was nervous about it, and offered to send it for a biopsy that day. I felt heard and in charge of my own care, which is unusual these days. She was also extremely punctual, and I trust her to take care of skin for years to come!

Another plus, Schweiger dermatology takes my elderly fathers insurance, when I called to see if they took my dads insurance and explained what happened at the other office (@ the other office he had to wait 6 weeks for his appointment only to be told at check-in they did not accept his insurance, which they said they accepted when we scheduled the appointment) *Schweiger dermatology confirmed they took my dads insurance and my dad was seen the very next day! Amazing! again everyone was so welcoming. PA Abigale and her assistant so patient and kind to my dad, they checked everything my Dad’s PCP wanted looked at, biopsied what needed to be done, and his other issue that was most noticeable was identified and the two prescriptions that he was given has taken care of the issue completely. Thank you so very much!!

That night I called the answering service and Dr Jennifer Edwards called me back right away. She was very understanding and caring. She asked me to book an appointment with her the next day. I was seen immediately by Lisa Desiato PA. She needed bloodwork to clear me for medication, which I had done by Labcorp just down the road, and had my lab results read and prescription waiting for me at my pharmacy all in the same day. I researched every physician in the Derm Group’s New Jersey locations and learned that he had completed a fellowship in psoriasis. I accompanied my daughter-in- law for her visit for this condition. Dr Patel prescribed Taltz and the improvement in her skin condition was remarkable. I then visited Dr. Patel to treat my actinic keratosis with a novel treatment which I will begin in the fall. When I researched what he recommended, I was pleased to learn that it was a new method of treating this condition. In conclusion, I am so pleased with Dr. Patel’s knowledge and experience. The office itself was efficient and the appointment times were honored. We drove from eastern Monmouth County to see Dr. Patel.

As an overweight patient with psoriasis, I could easily feel embarrassed as I reveal my skin, but Dr. Notterman examines me with the perfect combination of professionalism and compassion. As a self-employed professional, I have no insurance. This may be thoroughly unimportant to other doctors, but not Dr. Notterman. She carefully weighs my options when it comes to prescriptions and their cost.
