Our whole family has been going here for years. My hubby's family has skin cancer and he's always had great care from them, screening & excision. I saw 3 MD's @ CRHC who guessed a series of weird round red dots/spots I'd developed were an infection, but shortly after the first series of spots developed, I suddenly developed a bunch more. The PA here at Schweiger looked at them and dug a little deeper as she suspected my spots were a reaction to something, learned I had a TB test a few hours before the 1st series of spots developed, and the 2nd series of spots after the repeat TB test. She suspected GA, brought in 1 of the MD's to see if he agreed and said she was right, as TB serum has (on rare occasions) caused GA. It pays to involve specialists especially after 3 MD's at a GP were stumped & just threw antibiotics at it. Perhaps it's because the required the TB testing as an EE even though my job didn't require patient interactions? And most recently our teen was seen 2 months ago by another PA who began her on a course of skin care treatment that has totally turned around her teenage breakouts. All around we are SO PLEASED and highly recommend Schweiger Dermatology.

I try to get a checkup each year for moles and skin cancer. I made an appt and got in quite soon, not a long wait. The P.A. found 2 spots that she decided to biopsy. The one came back as pre-cancerous and the second hasn't come back yet. She froze the first one to make sure all of the cells were killed off, so just waiting on the results of the next one. The medical staff is great, all kind and professional. I've been going here for many years and never had a problem. I'm very happy with the staff.

NEED MORE DOCTORS AT THIS LOCATION! Also, it’s a pain to try to call the Port Jervis office, as one is directed to a call center. It would be so much easier to call the office directly, especially if one has a question about a prescription or a procedure.

Rachel Feist is in a class of her own. Within minutes she had a comprehensive solution to my dilemma(s) to help me combat a psoriasis flare up before it became unsightly. She also understands that in this day and age where looks matter way too much that I was getting self conscious about the inevitable signs of aging. My prescriptions were delivered by a top notch pharmacy out of Manhattan within 48 hours of my appointment. When I told her I was struggling financially she gave me a bunch of samples and put my anxiety about my appearance to rest. If you just want medicine go anywhere. Back in 2016, I discovered a strange new mole on my ear that I thought should be looked at, so I called Schweiger Dermatology Group in Port Jervis to schedule an appointment. They saw me the following day. The doctor took a biopsy and said she would be in touch. A month later, I was undergoing surgery at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. I’m not saying I owe my life to Schweiger Dermatology, but I haven’t missed a checkup with them since :)
