It's always unsettling visiting a new healthcare facility, but I was immediately put at ease by the front desk team who greeted me with smiles and easy check-in instructions. I had short wait before I was escorted to an examining room in by P.A., Amaya who was courteous and professional. Dr. Rastogi examined me, gave a prognosis and carefully explained next steps for my treatment. She is gentle, reassuring with the greatest bedside manner (something that cannot be taught). Schweiger Dermatology has been my skin care provider for nearly thirty years. Following the guidance of regular examinations, caught early and easily treatable have been two types of skin cancer both of which could have become complicated very quickly. Also caught and treated have been consistent “early signs” that became nothing. All this, and a most hospitable environment, “caring care,” “on time everything, smiles, and excellent communication. An extremely pleasurable medical experience that effortlessly have added uncomplicated years to my life.

I was in NYC on business and a dermatological issue arose. I could have waited until I connected with my home Dr. however I was referred to Schweiger and to Dr. Kream by one of her patients who resides locally in New York City. They were able to get me in within 48 hours. Dr. Kream was able to assess the issue and attended to a few other more cosmetic i.e. not needing immediate medical attention during the same visit. Quite impressed and as I am in the NYC region on a regular basis it is nice to have a trusted Dermatologist I can contact and meet with if needed. I started coming to Schweiger Dermatology for Botox about 3 years ago. I was scheduled to see Diana Palmisano and I really feel like I hit the jackpot with her! Her bedside manner is great; this was my first getting Botox and she took her time to fully walk through all my questions and concerns. I NEVER once felt rushed or uncomfortable. She was great about following up with me to see how everything was going a week later. When I came back for my second time for Botox I was telling her the horrible experience I was having with my regular Dermatologist and how I was at a point where I just did not trust what they were doing. I guess it didn't dawn on me that I could switch over to see her for my regular Dermatology concerns. I decided to come back again about 2 weeks after that second visit to have her give me a full body check. I am glad I did come back because she found spots (that my previous Dermatologist told me were no big deal...only a month prior) and had them biopsied. The results that came back were not great so she set me up with one of the Surgeons at Schweiger to go in and do a thorough removal. Skin cancer is an aggressive killer, and I am thankful that Diana now has me on a 4x a year plan to make sure I don't become a statistic. Very thankful for this practice and for Diana! I absolutely recommend seeing her!

Their office is beautiful (free coffee too!) and the treatments I've gotten for my pimples have practically cleared my skin. Might go back next week to get a scar removed. My tattoo is about 3 to 4 inches in diameter in black ink, on my wrist. Suffice to say, it wasn't the best choice to make when I was 17 and wanting to be the cool kid. Ten years later decided to get it actually removed They put numbing cream on and for the most part the pain was tolerable. I don't think that any pain can be completely removed from treatments like these in any case. After the first session, the tattoo was definitely faded away. After two sessions, the tattoo is 70% gone. I'm just to make my third visit, but I'm pretty positive it will be gone.
