Dr. Lingyun is the best! I have terrible anxiety visiting the doctors but he is a breath of fresh air. I wish he could be my doctor for everything, his bed side manner is something ALL doctors should take from him. His assistants and receptionists are great as well! Long wait times to get seen (because of how great he is) but they will get you in and out VERY fast. Nothing but amazing things to say about this practice!

In a previous patient. Made appointment to remove skin lesion but soonest date was in 3 1/2 weeks, asked if I could call a few times a week if there was a cancellation, they said yes. Called the following week (this Monday), they said they would call me if there was a cancellation. The help desk called back 10 minutes later! Informed me there was now an opening next day (this Tuesday). Outstanding service! Including my doctor & nurses, very helpful and wonderful to talk with. I highly recommend this medical provider, Oxnard or Camarillo offices.

I came in to get damaged blood vessels fixed, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I didn't feel afraid. The procedure was quick and it saved me after 21 years of suffering with my problem. The cauterizing was no big deal at all. Dr. Do (sorry if misspelled) is a wonderful dermatologist. Has very upbeat energy and is thoughtful. Would absolutely go there again!

A few months ago, i had a minor surgical procedure to remove a cancerous growth on my right wrist. My primary physician thought it was benign and did not make the referral. I went to urgent care a few days later and the physician was immediately concerned that it was Squamas cell carcinoma. i was referred to the California Skin Institute, who scheduled the biopsy, confirming that it was Squamas cell cancer. It was removed within a week. Having had almost a year worrying about this lesion, and knowing that this kind of skin cancer can metastasize, I was so relieved that California Skin Institute took my concerns seriously. I am sooooo impressed by the doctors and the surgeon as well as all of the Institute staff! They were very attentive and did not hesitate to completely assess this lesion, AND educate me along the way. the staff, from the front door to the surgion, are just exceptional!!!! I highly recommend the California Skin Institute!

I appreciate the doctor taking a moment to gaslight me and tell me I had beautiful skin when it is covered in scars. I really like how the doctor decided to listen to the assistant who made the decision for him instead of investigating my problems for himself. When a person wants a second opinion, you want the doctor to take the time to look at your issues, not just agree with the other one without any examination of his own. I loved how he said the stitch they left in my head would come out on its own instead of trying to get it out. At least they said they would refer me to another specialist but I’m not holding my breath waiting for that to come through.

The Dr. seemed to have already made a decision about my case before actually seeing me and just going to treat me without and discussion about what my issue was. Which I feel is odd. I had a picture of my issue while it was at its worst and he wasn’t interested in seeing it and dismissed it. The staff member assisting him asked what the diagnosis was just as I was about to ask. Hopefully the treatment he did will work. I suppose we will find out.

I had an appointment for 10:30 and was taken to an exam room at 10:30. The assistant reviewed my file and within 5 minutes the doctor came to the exam room. This was a follow up appointment. We reviewed my options going forward. A noninvasive procedure was used to obtain skin cell samples. I was on my way in less time than I usually have to spend in a doctor’s office waiting room. Very nice to be treated like my time is important while receiving excellent care.

Great experience, Doctor Taft listened and took care of several moles on my back. I had gone to a different dermatologist who spent less than 1 minute looking at my skin , telling me it was due to age !
