I have been going for annual full body skin checks for years and when something suspicious came up, Dr. Flamenbaum identified it quickly. She took the time to explain everything clearly and truly is an expert. One of the best things is the ability to make appointments on Zocdoc for this practice.

PA Rachel Zachery is fantastic. Pleasant, professional, knowledgeable. Great with adults and teenagers. Always a pleasure to have a visit with her - she gets it done with a pleasant smile.
I use the facility in New Hyde Park and see Dr Flammenbaum. I like her demeanor and thoroughness. She listens and is relatable. The facility is clean and ontime with appointments. Notifications are sent upon appointment schedule and reminder.
My provider Kelsey was excellent. I will be returning. But the lady at the front desk needs to learn how to talk to people and listen to people, she's extremely rude and condescending..She broke every HIPPA law.. If she was part of my staff at my surgical center,I would have fired her on the spot.. I made an appointment to come back and of course she got the date wrong.. I had to call back after the text came through,and correct the date... If I didn't have to deal with her, I would have given you five stars.
PA Yaroslav Yanishin is a great provider! He takes time to explain always gives samples! My acne and hyperpigmentation is all clear because of his regimen. I also got my botox for my forhead done from him and some moles removed, couldn't be happier! I look like a new woman. My husband has been paying me more compliments ever since I've been seeing him. I've been going to him for 2 years, he's never let me down. He knows a lot! I'd give him 10 stars if i could!

Last week was my first visit to this practice. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the woman up front who then proceeded to give me thorough new patient instructions and (as a nervous patient) this was very appreciated. After that I was taken to an exam room by one of the medical assistants and as you are following her to the room, you cannot help but notice how sparklingly clean the whole office is. After a brief but thorough work up, the door opened and in walked a woman who instantly radiated warmth and caring. And, lucky me, it was Dr. Flamenbaum!! There is something so special about her that you instantly can trust her. She speaks with you, not to you. It was more like chatting with a friend (who happened to have a vast amount of information about dermatology lol) as opposed to a physician. I have been to many different dermatologists, but this time, I know I found the one! So to sum it all up: great reception, great medical assistant, great doctor. You know what to do next 😊
Dr. Sharone Sabo is an outstanding dermatologist—thorough, kind, and professional. She took the time to listen and explained everything clearly. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the entire visit smooth. Highly recommend Dr. Sabo and the New Hyde Park office!

On this my first visit to Schweiger, I sought a dermatologist who practices medicine, not cosmetics. Dr. Helen Flamenbaum -- a thorough, caring professional -- conducted an excellent exam and prescribed a solid, detailed plan of care. The office staff were also top notch.

Recently met with Rachel Zakhary PA for a skin condition that I haven’t experienced before. She explained to me what it was and showed me a visual on google. I was prescribed a topical cream which is helping get rid of the condition. She was very pleasant, helpful and understanding during the visit.
My family and myself have been Dr Flamenbaums patients for years and all are extremely happy with her and her team. She listens and helps you - guides and follows up.

I found Dr. Flamenbaum patient, thorough, and informative. Waiting time upon arrival was less than five minutes. She took as much time as was necessary for the exam and did not rush out to see the next patient. I give her the highest rating possible.
The best. I had a piece of glass in my right index finger and he was really professional and gentle on taking it out. Highly recommend him.
