Have had squamous cell skin cancer issues on my scalp. Had been to another local dermatologist which was so crowded and took so long to book second appointment that I was unhappy with them ( almost 4 months) that I made the decision to ask my primary physician about another dermatologist, which he provided and I was able to book an appointment with Schweiger Dermatology for 2- weeks away. My primary doctor has since left the medical group he was associated with and opened his own medical group in the city where I live and have lived for over 43 years. My primary physician has been my primary doctor for over 20 years and is still my primary physician today. His actions as my doctor actually saved my life. His is a very good doctor, in my opinion.

First of all, I got there 8 minutes late because of traffic, they didn’t even question it, unlike some other places ! They gave me one piece of paper to fill out, then a tablet to fill out the rest of the information. The tablet was way nicer and faster than the usual four pieces of paper that you get ! Only sat for about 10 minutes before they asked me to come back to one of the rooms to see the Dr., answered some of the assistant’s questions, told me Dr. will see me soon, I thought, yeah right ! Dr. came into the room in less than 5 minutes !! WOW !! Usually wait in that room 30-45 minutes at other places ! Dr. took a look at me, everywhere, questioned three areas, did a biopsy on those three places right then and there. Dr. and Staff were very nice and did a great job ! I highly recommend California Skin Institute.

If I did not check on the status we would have waited there forever to be seen by the provider.
