Okay, so, toddler mom here(Irish twins) I'm providing an unbiased review since I found the establishment via google... I was so surprised with this place overall.. First impression walk in: it's gorgeous, clean, and they seem to have such fancy equipment. We did just go in to get a regular check up accompanied by a bunch of dumb questions, because you know... mom anxiety. Everything's great, Thank God! I'm ashamed I cant remember our front desk associate's name, nor the nurse's (who were both so sweet and went out of their way to assist in our family chaos haha...) hey girls, thanks for the stickers/ extra hands/ dress compliments! 💕 Now on to Crystal Fermano. This woman has an obvious gift with children, and won our trust right away. She never rushed us, was thourough in her exams, provided ample time for my mom brain to catch up (and remember) any questions or concerns... and even threw in some samples for us so we can find the best products for this upcoming summer. She was so helpful and interactive with my kids. They were able to communicate with Crystal even though they speak english sparingly as a second language. Thank you so much for settling my worries, and walking us out hand in hand today! (literally)🧿 This is now both of my daughters' favorite office to visit, which I was not expecting at all. (Since they both think they are doctors at home but hate going to the actual doctor. Haha) Overall, we're happy we booked the appointments. I will say I've seen some negative reviews concerning the appointments: I did CALL IN and speak to someone to make the appointments initially. All of my questions regarding insurance, self pay, differences between physicians available, etc. were all answered, and again, not rushed. I did not run into any issues personally, everything went smoothly. OK, that is all! 🙏🥰 - mama of the Cafe Au Lait Sisters

Very good, attentive Dr. and nursing staff, very satisfied. However, extremely disappointing aggravating arrangement of the telephone connection - inability to speak directly to the office you are visiting is really super upsetting, especially in case of emergencies. I was driving to the office in Englewood Cliffs and was delayed by traffic accident. I waited and waited to be connected to a live customer representative after speaking with electronic assistant: after that I had to explain to customer representative of the Schweiger Dermatology, Inc - not the office I was going to, so after not less than 20 minutes and my blood pressure going up I was connected to the Reception of the office I was going to. Terrible service! The office staff is very good. Jane, who helped me deserves high praise for her efficient, friendly, excellent skills But lack of direct contact with the office makes experience uncomfortable and unpleasant!

This was my first time visiting a dermatologist. From setting the appointment, to check in, to my exam, my experience was seamless. I was able to get an appointment in two days. I was checked in and brought into the office in no time at all(exceptionally fast especially being a first appointment). I met with Crystal Fermano who is a PA there. She was friendly, thorough, and very informative. Most important to me, she listened to my concerns and put them at ease by describing what they were and letting me know they are of no concern. Ultimately, I highly recommend this facility especially Crystal , and I look forward to my appointment next year.

First let me say, I couldn’t get an appointment when I called on Friday, had to see regular Dr., they had to call to get me an appointment on Wednesday…with that said once I got an appointment, it was great, smooth and quick. Dr. Rothman was excellent! I would’ve given a five star rating if making an appointment for a rash that just appeared out of nowhere was easier! They should have special appointments for this exact thing… No one should have to worry about something they know only a dermatologist would know about. It was a waste of time and money going to a regular dr for a skin issue.

The moral is so high in this area so it must be a great place to work as well! I would definitely recommend this group if you’re looking for a dermatologist. If possible, Dr. Erin Courtney because she really is amazing! I definitely would make any future appointments with this group if needed. Getting into this location at the hospital is a little difficult but once you reach the hospital entrance it’s a breeze. They pay for your parking and easy to get there from the parking garage.

PROS: Practice is clean, they offer coffee and water for patients in waiting room, and support staff was (mostly!) very nice despite being quite busy. Dr. Scherl is no-nonsense, has realistic expectations of her patients, and clearly knows her field inside and out. She was very clear in her discharge instructions & even showed me how to apply one of the topical medications. CONS: Was not seen until an hour after my appointment time, but I’ve had to wait longer at other practices. Also, I did see a few minor OSHA violations in the exam room… oops!

This was my first time in the new office and it was lovely. My appointment started on time and my screening exam was thorough. All of my questions were answered and the doctor takes the time to listen to concerns. I find the doctors and staff to be very warm and professional. Great experience!

Today was my second appointment with Dr, Scherl, this time for a total body scan. As the doctor scanned my body she commented as she went along describing what she saw, assuring me that the concerns I had of several blemishes were not what I had thought. I was, of course, relived to know that I needn’t worry. But to be sure I understood, Dr. Scherl gave me a card that pictured and described skin cancer so that I could see the difference. I like that Dr. Scherl goes that extra mile to reassure and educate. It meant a lot for my peace of mind.

The entire staff was right on top of things from start to finish. Everything was seamless. They took us a few minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment.
