I also appreciated that she was already thinking of a plan b in case her first suggestion didn’t help my skin. Holly really understands what she is talking about and made me feel confident that my skin will improve!

I cannot express enough how Dr. Crandall and his staff quite literally saved my life. I was seeing a different dermatologist in my city who was very unhelpful for a bout of eczema which had gotten worse and worse. After several months of steroids (oral, injections, and creams), nothing helped and the office would not put me on the medication I needed. My feet were swollen, oozing, and were constantly painful and itchy-it was like living in hell. I was taking Benadryl every day multiple times per day which did not help. I made an appointment with Dr. Crandall and after a scheduling mix up, they saw me anyways. He took his time with me and listened to my tear-filled story of absolutely no relief with all of the steroids for months on end and just wanting the pain and itchiness to go away so I could go on with my life. He gave me an injection, a different topical steroid, and his front desk staff talked with my insurance company about getting me the medication I needed without me having to pay an arm and a leg ($6,000!). All of this to say, thank you so much for saving my life- I know that I would not be here without you and I appreciate everyone in this office for your help. Highly recommended 🙏🏼🩷

When you need a skin issue dealt with, then these are the folks that can help you out. In general, most appointments I have had are done within an hour of the time scheduled for the appointment. Even follow ups can be done in a shortened period unless they found other issues. Give them a chance to show you how to live within the skin you have!!! Enjoy!!!

Dr. Colleen Crandell is an outstanding provider! She was very personable and kind. She attended to my needs from the minute she walked in the room, even taking the time to ask about me. She explained everything to me and even made sure insurance would cover my medications before prescribing them to avoid high out of pocket costs. She was very professional and friendly as well! This is the second time we've used Schweiger Dermatology. My wife saw a provider with them in Utica not long ago, and it was a great experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable and caring. This time I saw PA Anderson at their Norwich location and he was every bit as great as my wife's provider-and all of the staff were excellent as well. Mr. Anderson addressed all my concerns and in fact insisted on going the extra yard during my exam. He was really thorough and professional as well as easy going and personable. I'm so happy to have found their Norwich location as I plan on returning on an annual basis. When you find an outstanding health care professional, along with a caring and attentive staff, I feel it's imperative to spread the word so others can benefit as well. Patrick is an excellent provider. I have always felt confident with his work. I've been there for some serious issues and I felt like Patrick always did his best to resolve what was going on. He is extremely personable and treats me very well. The one complaint I have is trying to make an appointment. I find it very difficult going through the call center. You cannot understand the people that are talking the calls. They don't really understand what you are saying and they have no concern if there is an urgent issue that needs to be dealt with immediately. It would be great if this organization would think more about their clients and less about the almighty dollar. Get rid of the call center and put it back to the individual offices. It took me 2 and 1/2 months to get in and at that point the issue I had resolved on its own. However, this is an ongoing issue and I needed it addressed when it was active.

What a great place for care. All of the staff and the Doctor were incredibily friendly and engaging. They really put me at ease. Then the music playing over the system was right up my alley. That helped put me at ease too. It was not typical elevator music, but real music, AKA ROCK! Heck Yeah!

There was a line to check in so I sat down. One person was checking people in and also out. I got in line right before my appt. I have been coming to this practice for many years. I absolutely love Dr. Colleen Crandall and Patrick Crandall. They are above board and truly care about you. However I have to say on this visit that the receptionist was extremely rude and very unprofessional. The receptionist is the first person you see when entering this practice. It would be a benefit for this practice to either do some serious training with the receptionist or replace her. I normally would not go to that extreme but there are some people that need a great deal of improvement when dealing with the public.
