I really enjoyed my first appointment here! I'm autistic and it can be hard for me to go to a new practice, I always get sort of nervous, but everyone here was sooooooooooo nice. They were friendly, listened to all my concerns, and I wasn't bombarded with a bunch of paperwork to speed through. The building itself is nice and clean and they have some drinks available, everything was super clear and easy to navigate. I was very happy with the level of care and I would recommend to anyone!

The front desk staff was so warm and friendly, the nurse intake was extremely nice, the dermatologist went above and beyond to answer questions and thoroughly explain about my minor. My doctor is very afraid of doctors in general but she was so happy to have a doctor so warm and friendly. The office itself is ver aesthetically pleasing with a complimentary drink station. His assistant, whose name unfortunately I cannot recall accurately, was wonderful - attentive and kind. She asked me relevant questions and made me feel like I was being cared for. He, however, did none of those things and while he answered my husband's questions, he wasn't very forthcoming with information. Except for his assistant, it felt almost like a drive-thru appointment instead of an actual consultation. I will be returning to Zen Skin because I believe the team in general is a good one, but will likely avoid another appointment with Elliot.

My first time at a dermatologist for skin tag. They did great and remove multiple skin tags in one visit. We found that I have a wart and the doctor use cryotherapy to freeze it. Missing 1 star because they didn't tell me how to care for the wart or skin tag and of course I didn't ask since it was my first time at a dermatologist so lots of nerve. The nurse only told me to put on Vaseline on the skin tag as we are walking out. Will update in a week to see how the wart recovery is.

I was very nervous and insecure feeling especially because I was there to talk about the concerns I had on my face. She told me when she talks to me she only sees my beautiful blue eyes and not my insecurities. She answered all of my questions and was just so nice to me. I usually don’t expect doctors/nurses to be so kind because they see patients all the time. But she really made my day. I would definitely go back. I came here for Botox with dr Kelly. Dr Kelly is super cool and nice. She made us feel very comfortable and was very informative of the procedure. Prices were really fair too at about $13/unit. I had 42 units for my forehead and eyes so $577 total. I would definitely come back.

So, Dr. Zel. Yeah, we get it. He’s cool. But his wonderful staff, to a person, is beyond. Just go. You come in feeling like a a hundred bucks and leave feeling like a million even if you don’t immediately look it. We all know that’s part of the deal. But I will tell you honestly, no matter how good lookin’ I become they can’t get rid of me, though I know it’s been proposed. You will not be disappointed. My review is real. Another top notch treatment today at Zel Skin in Edina. I have been a patient for over 15 years at Zel, every visit has exceeded my expectations. All the staff I encounter from the front desk, Katie and Jenna to the clinic manager Melanie are professional, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable in all the services and skin care products. My injector today was Annie, my Botox treatment was painless and Annie made everything just so easy and comfortable. She was very thorough in reviewing my past records and making sure I received just the treatment I wanted today. I would highly recommend all the injectors at Zel, including Keely, Grace and Teresa. I love this place! They’re not in it for the money. I had the Core laser therapy last year by Zellickson then scheduled to meet with him this year for a 2nd round of laser treatment (which is significantly expensive) but he convinced me to try a different (and way cheaper) route instead. He also waived my $80 consultation fee and gave me several free samples. I ended up also purchasing isClinical Pro-Heal Serum and EltaMD sunscreen. However, I later realized that the Active Serum would be better for my skin than the Pro-Heal Serum. I went back yesterday to exchange the serums and the woman who helped me was beyond exceptional. Dude I loved her. Instead of exchanging the serums (and therefore obviously keeping my money), she had me return the original serum then gave me free samples of the Active Serum. She said if I liked the samples then I could come back to purchase the entire bottle. She was super nice and gave me a ton of other high quality free samples. This woman deserves a raise for her customer service!! I wish I got her name, but she had black & orange glitter nails.
