My hematologist recommended annual skin screening since my cancer meds could cause skin cancer. I chose Danielle for the location and ease in scheduling. At age 67, this was my first screening. I was impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of both Danielle and her assistant Jessica. I was put completely at ease before and during the exam. Could not have asked for more. Everyone I dealt with was kind, respectful, patient and knowledgable. Tons of free parking. I've been to a number of the finest dermatologists in the bay area, but Dr. Hsiao at the California Skin Institute is quite simply the ultimate. I've never seen so much attention to detail and you don't feel like there's a mad rush to move you out quickly so they can fit in as many patients as possible.

I had a minor biopsy done on my left calve today and Dr Hsiao was explaining what he was doing while working on my calve. I just felt a tiny prick from the anesthesia and everything went smoothly. The soothing jazz music in the background totally took my mind off on the procedure. Before i knew it i was done in 15 minutes. I saw doctor Ann Han and she was very good. I had sagging skin under my eyes, in the check area, and around my mouth. Doctor Han is very knowledgeable about minority skin , and she told me what she could honestly fix.( I have been let down in the past by doctors) She helped me with acne and dry skin issues, and used the CORRECT filler on my sagging skin.Now I have been told I look 10 to 15 years younger.Doctor Han told me art was her hobby. Well, my face is living proof of her talent.
