I had a wonderful experience at Schweiger Dermatology Clinic. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and friendly, which immediately put me at ease. The wait time was impressively short, and the clinic was clean. A special thank you to Nadine and John, who were absolutely fantastic. What could have been an uncomfortable experience—a biopsy—turned into something surprisingly pleasant thanks to their personalities, attentiveness, and genuine care. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of throughout the entire process. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for professional care with a truly human touch.

These guys and gals are the best. I have had an issue with my legs, predominately the left one, where it would get all red and itchy in the spring time. This would happen every year until about 3 years ago when it never went away. I talked to my primary doctor and endocrinologist and they had no idea what was going on. I went with my wife to one of her visits to to have them take a quick peek and Dr. Stafford said right away what I had and that they could help with it. That was more than the other dermatologist said when they diagnosed my condition. I made a new patient appointment with Dr. Stafford and he prescribed the proper medication and referred me to Dr Dohner to see why my legs were so swollen, yes there were two issues. Dr Dohner took one look and said he could fix the leg issue as it was an issue with one of my veins. His nurse got all the authorizations done and got my appointments setup. Today, was the last treatment (hopefully) and so far there has been a huge difference. If you are having skin or vein issues, save yourself alot of time and effort and go see these guys. They are excellent and caring and Drs Stafford and Dohner are pretty funny. That made going through the treatments easier and enjoyable. They really so care and go out of their way to get you back to normal.

After several years being treated at a large Albany area dermatology practice, I searched for another dermatologist for a second opinion about an ongoing issue. Dr. Stafford, his nurse, and staff at this practice turned out to be a great choice! He spent a lot of time with me over two visits, explaining the results of the biopsy and various treatment options. This is the first time during this entire several year period where I’ve felt confident that I am receiving excellent care rather than a “let’s try this” approach. (It was also a surprise to find out the former practice couldn’t provide a copy of the biopsy they had taken earlier this year.) I am thoroughly impressed in every way with NY Skin & Vein’s practice in Cobleskill. My wife is also switching to them, and I would encourage anyone else to consider doing likewise. EDIT: it seems this practice has been bought up by that same large Albany area practice that I was so displeased with (and there were a few other significant problems with them, too.) So far, I haven’t seen the same issues here, and I don’t expect to. The people here continue to meet the standards of excellence and honesty I expect.

I heard great things about this place from friends and had to check it out bc I have a lesion on my left Ribs. The nurse Caitlin is so friendly and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Stafford is very thorough with what he is doing and explains everything, which is hard to find. Even the secretary Julie is so friendly. I definitely recommend and give it 5stars
