I found this place online when I came home from a really disappointing dermatologist visit in New Hyde park. I have an infected cyst and the derm said they couldn't do anything for it so they referred me to a surgical derm which could only take it out a month later I can't wait that long with an infected cyst. So I went online and I found this dermatologist location and I'm so glad I did. I had dr, Cerveny and he took out the infection, put me on antibiotics and will remove the root next week when the infection subsides. He and everyone that worked here was so professional, respectful and helpful! Glad I found this helpful new dermatologist!

After six months of uncertainty and no clear answers from other providers in other practices, she was finally able to identify an ongoing skin issue my youngest son was experiencing. Wait. Wait. Then rush! Rush! Rush! Waited quite a bit in the waiting room & then some more in the treatment room. Still, Linda Dodick & her assistant were wonderful and made the effort to address my concerns but boy was it a rushed appointment. Nonetheless, they did well even though I'm pretty much the same as before my treatments. My experience with the front desk was so-so. The person who signed me in didn't come off as friendly at all. Also, I don't understand why there's valet parking only. I was able to find street parking.

I’ve been a patient of the group for a few years now and usually go to the Deer Park office b/c Ashley Teta is just amazing! However recently I had to make a last minute appointment at the Amityville office and was very pleased. Sorry to the valet guys, I didn’t notice them until after I parked lol. Stephanie at the counter was very kind and checked me in very quickly. I didn’t even wait 5 minutes before they took me in it was great. Lilly was wonderful in discussing current meds and vitals to get me ready for Linda. Unfortunately I had a teleadoc with my endocrinologist that of course started just as Linda walked in with the sweetest assistant Emily and she was so kind to let me take the Teledoc call in the patient room while she went to another patient so i wouldn’t have to reschedule she figured out what the reaction was that i was having, prescribed meds and sent me on my way. Overall I had a great experience and happy to know that when I need an appointment I now how two great women I can rely on along with wonderful staff in both office thanks Ashley, Linda and the entire Schweiger team! 😀

I like the service, staff, and my doctor, Charisse Dolitsky at the Amityville Schweiger office. In my experience, waiting time is always acceptable, front desk staff are efficient and polite, and Dr. Dolitsky's assistant Emma is friendly, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Dolitsky herself is very professional in her efficient examinations while also maintaining a friendly and good-spirited demeanor. Test results come back fairly quickly, and Dr. Dolitsky makes suggestions for follow-up when necessary. Overall, appointments here are pleasant and welcome and leave me feeling confident that I am being well cared for.

The office is most convenient to make an appointment. The staff when arriving is courteous and polite. Checking in is a breeze along with being called in and asked for visit information . So the doctor knows who you are and what you are there for. The doctor is cordial and very direct , which is a positive to understanding what is being done for this visit. Follow up is told before you leave so you know what to expect and are not asking self questions like what should I do next? Great experience.

Amazing experience. No run around, less then 10 minutes in the waiting room. Dr was able to remove small milia on my daughter’s face on the spot. Other offices tell you to schedule another appt and then a follow up or possibly go to a specialist. This was such a pleasure. Friendly competent staff from making appt, check in at front desk, medical assistant and NP. Everyone knew their job and was nice/happy to be there. It makes a difference. Highly recommend. Every other medical establishment just gives you the run around and makes you wait a ridiculous amount of time. Truly appreciate the system they have in place and the people there.

I actually had ZocDoc recommend them to me and I am glad they did. The facility is super clean and much larger than I expected. I went in around 530pm and was greeted quickly and checked in with little effort. Waited about 10 minutes at the most and went in for my annual screening. The staff from there on out was also very accomodating and reassuring. I was able to get a mole removed with little back and forth and was done with my screening and the procedure within 45 minutes total. Great experience and would recommend them for anyone.

I think Dr Connolly did a good job removing my basal cell carcinoma. It was a large incision but she did it cleanly and it is healing well. I may have a scar but it was a large incision: three months post surgery, it is healing well. I love her staff, especially May, who was with me for the whole procedure explaining everything. The basal cell carcinoma was right in the middle of my forehead. I do not have enough hair to wear bangs to cover it. At this point though, I am very pleased with the surgery and Dr Connolly.

Dr. Cerveny was very nice and attentive. He answered all of my questions and explained to me very well what my treatment plan would be. I really liked him and I’m glad I switched to him from my previous dermatologist. The office is very clean and comfortable, the check in process is pretty efficient, and most of the front desk staff are extremely friendly. The only two negatives for this place are the wait time and the parking situation. My appointment was scheduled for 11:20am, and as per the request of the office, I arrived at 11:05am to complete paperwork, but I wasn’t actually taken back by the staff until about 12:10pm. I would have appreciated a heads up about a delay upon checking in so that I could notify work that I’d be back later than expected. There was virtually no wait from when I was taken back to a room until Dr. Cerveny met with me. The parking lot is very small and every spot was taken when I arrived, which caused a little stress because the office is on a main road without a shoulder so you can’t park out front. All in all, positives outweighed the negatives and I do recommend this doctor and this practice. I'd like to really give this practice more like 4.5 stars, if that were possible, because the most important factor for me is the attentiveness of my provider, and Dr. Cerveny exceeded my expectations in that regard.

2 years ago i went to another clinic about a dark mole on my head. They did a biopsy but gave me no other information other than “it’s okay”. It continued to grow in the last two years and since the last clinic gave me no type of reassurance, i became so concerned at this point, even convincing myself it had to be cancer. I was referred to this clinic by my son in law. I was a little hesitant at first, but when i went to my first appointment i was incredibly impressed. I was immediately reassured that i was indeed not dying, Dr. Andrew explained to me what it was, and fixed the issue right then and there within a few minutes. Needless to say, i went home and decided to stop working on my will after that. They are the best!

The office is clean and welcoming. I was greeted immediately upon entering by a very friendly receptionist. My wait time was minimal and Linda Dodick MPA-S was amazing. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I never felt rushed. This will be the only place I go for anything dermatology related.

Overall the experience was great from the scheduling to the appointment , they were on top of the reminder emails right up to the day of , they even try and if possible will try to accommodate you if you are too early for your visit, and they take the time to explain each process so I never got the feeling of being rushed and the office staff was on the ball great atmosphere and a positive energy.

Linda came in very professional and enthusiastic, she addressed all my concerns and performed the needed treatments expeditiously and precisely. The front desk staff at both locations (Amityville and Long Beach) are always courteous and professional. The nurses that assist the doctors as well as the doctors are truly outstanding. For the past few years, I have been seeing Dr. Cerveney, who besides being an excellent doctor, is a true gentleman. He always takes the time to properly diagnose and treat any condition. He patiently answers any questions or concerns and does not leave the exam room until his patients have been given all pertinent information on the care and follow up of their conditions. All in all, it is a great experience to deal everyone in this fine practice and would highly recommend this office for all dermatological needs.
