I worked with Tyrell, and he was so incredible throughout the whole loan process! It's kind of weird to review a credit union. I would never have thought about it if it hadn't popped up as "to review." It's a small credit union. This is their only branch. They don't have a lot of "big bank" stuff, which is sort of the point. If you call the main number, you get a real person who works here and not someone across the country or not even in the country. They have a couple of gimmicks that makes them a great place to start out a teenager like "Reverse Tier Savings" which has an even higher rate on the first $2,000 than that sketchy bank with no branches that they saw on a YouTube ad. The tellers will talk to them and take them seriously especially if there isn't a line out the door. They don't always have CD promos, but when they do, it's totally worth it. Their base checking is free (but the checks are definitely not! order those from Costco or something) and if your credit is good they have really good rates on their loans. There's no Capital One coffee bar, or whatever, but tucked over on the side of the ATM is a Kurig. Close enough.
Ryan at the Highlands Ranch location was super helpful and did everything we needed him to do for us. Definitely recommend going to him if you need a loan
I had a great experience at Red Rocks Credit Union in Highlands Ranch. I had intended to go in to close an account as I could get better terms through another credit union. However, Leila was extremely helpful in finding a way to keep my business. She made the process easy & was great with follow up that the process was completed. Leila's friendliness, professionalism and willingness to go beyond to retain my business was greatly appreciated. Leila H. did a great job at helping me open a checking account and acquire a debit card and she asked me to verify the card at ATM before I left to make sure it worked and I was happy. What more could I ask for.
I called the bank today to inquire about an ACH withdrawl that I did not know who this is being paid to. I spoke with Tyrell and he was very helpful. He was unable to tell me who the payment of 24.99 today was for. I told her that I have checked back in my account and every 2 months there is a charge the end of the month on the 29th or later and each for a different amount with the same information ASH Withdrawl Cardmember Service Web Pmt. He suggested that I submit a stop payment request to stop further payment since it is unknow who these payments are going to. He was polite and courteous and I appreciated his help in this matter.

My parents opened my first account with me at Red Rocks when I was 12 yrs old. I still have it to this day. My mom also still has her account as it was opened by my father through their previous partnership with Lockheed Martin over 40 years ago. They are a staple in the community and really go the extra mile to engage with their account holders. Their efforts can be seen in their customer service. When you call you speak to a real person, not an automated service. Folks like Tyrell, one of the Red Rocks member advocates, will do their best to answer every question and provide every option for service. I admire the hands on approach they take and will continue to use Red Rocks well into the future. I recommend them to everyone.

Tyrell Miller was excellent and very helpful. I had issues with payments to Visa - was told they hadn't received checks so called RRCU on 20 Feb to do a stop payment and send two replacement checks on 21 Feb to them. In the meantime they cashed the first set of checks #2743 and #2820 and also the second set of checks #2746 and #2821...so I paid double. He took the time to go through the accounts at first trying to figure out why the stop payment had not been carried out and that was when it was discovered they had cashed both sets. His thoroughness and explanations were helpful. He also emailed me copies of the actual first set of checks so I can prove with them this situation. I am appreciative of his initiative and willing to dig into the history of this matter to help me get this resolved. I have to come out and defend RRCU from the other reviews. I've had nothing but responsiveness, professionalism and financial accuracy from them. Yes, they are a smaller Credit Union but the RRCU team have it together. I recently worked out an auto loan with them where, to put it mildly, I kept moving the goal posts on what I wanted and every change, they worked with me on. (David. You're a rockstar.) I hold a checking and credit card account with them as well. No issues with any product I've subscribed to. Responsiveness to questions submitted on their online portal comes back within 1 business day for the most part. Way better than some of the other banks I've dealt with. As long as you keep your own financial health in order, RRCU will help you with your goals, probably better than financial institutions 100x their size. Recommended.

I'm long-term member of Red Rocks Credit Union who had some challenges recently correcting account access when my wife passed away. I worked on the telephone with representative Lucas C and he was able to figure out some existing online security issues and resolve my problem. I don’t understand how my credit union gets such a low rating on here. First off the customer service is always outstanding. Very friendly tellers and very quick when they work. When I’ve had issues in the past and had to call customer service AT ANY TIME MIND YOU. They’ve been quick to answer and very helpful. My parents have always banked with red rocks and i bank with red rocks for a reason. They also know I’m a veteran and take very good care of me anytime i come into the branch. Thank you for being so reliable.

I contacted RedRocks Credit Union to refinance my vehicle. Briana Lawson was my loan officer and my loan was approved and ready for my signature in 2 days with a much lower interest rate. I was so impressed. Briana was very quick and professional.

We have worked with Red Rocks Credit Union on a number of occasions for vehicle financing and have been very happy. Our most recent experience was to set up a purchase from a lease expiration for our daughter. Briana Lawson was phenomenal to work with. She was very clear in what was needed, was very communicative and expedited this process very quickly and efficiently. Very appreciative and would strongly recommend working with Red Rocks CU Highlands Ranch and Briana Lawson.
We just opened up a few accounts for the kids as starter accounts and we were pleasantly surprised to learn how much higher the interest rates are for some of the savings accounts. Briana was great to work with and was most helpful with showing my kids how to set up the mobile app on their phones and how to get started. She was able to quickly and efficiently answer all our questions and provide additional information about the credit union that I was not aware of. I wish we had looked into this credit Union a lot sooner. We will be transferring all of our current banking accounts here based on the much higher interest rates for savings and no/low fees compared to our current bank.
Fantastic experience with a recent signature loan working with Briana. Started the loan application on Monday and the loan was closed on the same same. Funds were deposited by Tuesday. Thanks solely to the alert and caring employees at Red Rocks Credit Union, a would be identity thief failed in his bid to steal tens of thousands of dollars from my home equity line of credit. Although the would be thief somehow was able to obtain my personal information, including my social security number and my Red Rocks Credit Union account number, when he called and identified himself as me and requested that money be wired out of my home equity line of credit, Red Rocks management became suspicious and did not approve the wire transfer. It's that kind of personal service and attention to detail that sets Red Rocks Credit Union apart from other financial institutions.

We recently became members at Red Rocks Credit Union. We found their location to be extremely convenient. So far, we have been very satisfied with the services that they provide. The best part of the membership are the rates for loans that are available. Their car loan rates were well below what we could have gotten at our bank and they had a lot of options in terms of available loan terms. In addition we have a few of their savings vehicles which have decent rates. The hours are a little bit limited, but for a credit union they are also pretty standard. The employees that we have met and worked with have been very friendly and also extremely informative.

It's kind of weird to review a credit union. I would never have thought about it if it hadn't popped up as "to review." It's a small credit union. This is their only branch. They don't have a lot of "big bank" stuff, which is sort of the point. If you call the main number, you get a real person who works here and not someone across the country or not even in the country. They have a couple of gimmicks that makes them a great place to start out a teenager like "Reverse Tier Savings" which has an even higher rate on the first $2,000 than that sketchy bank with no branches that they saw on a YouTube ad. The tellers will talk to them and take them seriously especially if there isn't a line out the door. They don't always have CD promos, but when they do, it's totally worth it. Their base checking is free (but the checks are definitely not! order those from Costco or something) and if your credit is good they have really good rates on their loans. There's no Capital One coffee bar, or whatever, but tucked over on the side of the ATM is a Kurig. Close enough.
Tyrell was incredibly thorough to get to the root of a few problems we were having with a new account. When he didn't know the answer to questions, he contacted his supervisor to assist and then got right back to me. His professionalism, patience to clarify details and positive attitude, made all the difference in getting resolution to our problems.
He is truly an asset to Red Rocks Credit Union. They are very fortunate to have an employee like Tyrell. As a customer, I appreciate him!

Tyrell Miller was excellent and very helpful. I had issues with payments to Visa - was told they hadn't received checks so called RRCU on 20 Feb to do a stop payment and send two replacement checks on 21 Feb to them. In the meantime they cashed the first set of checks #2743 and #2820 and also the second set of checks #2746 and #2821...so I paid double. He took the time to go through the accounts at first trying to figure out why the stop payment had not been carried out and that was when it was discovered they had cashed both sets. His thoroughness and explanations were helpful. He also emailed me copies of the actual first set of checks so I can prove with them this situation. I am appreciative of his initiative and willing to dig into the history of this matter to help me get this resolved. He deserves a raise or promotion

I'm long-term member of Red Rocks Credit Union who had some challenges recently correcting account access when my wife passed away.
I worked on the telephone with representative Lucas C and he was able to figure out some existing online security issues and resolve my problem.
Thanks to Lucas's efforts I was able to restore my online access to our family accounts and continue my banking.

If you are interested in getting a loan from RRCU, ask for Bri (Briana Lawson) who is a financial advocate. I have worked with her on a couple of occasions and she is an awesome advocate, plain & simple, bar none.
Case 1: When I was trying to co-sign to help start my daughter's credit history, we worked with Bri and got my daughter a loan for a motorcycle.
Case 2: When I requested a lien request after paying off my own motorcycle loan, she took charge and got it expedited and had my lien released the very same day!
