I had three positive experiences at Schweiger Dermatology in Plymouth. About 4 years ago I had a dark black spot on my lower back. I set up an appointment for a general exam. I was seen by Brian who examined me, answered questions, had a small conversation, then he said I was good to go! I was so caught up in the conversation that I didn't notice a chunk of me was missing until I got home! I had agreed that they could biopsy the spot but I thought it would be a separate appointment. Nope! It happened right there and I didn't even notice! It was definitely a bad chunk of skin and I'm glad I got it removed! Exam took less than 10 minutes and it was painless! I went in for a follow-up to make sure I healed properly and Brian was able to answer questions about any other spots I found. I was fine and he told me to keep an eye on them if they change. Last week I went in for another checkup because some new spots appeared on me since my last visit. This time, I was seen by Elliot. Elliot was direct, quick, and very thorough! He took the time to check between my toes and lower back. I really appreciated the caution! He was quick and it didn't feel awkward. He was able to address and identify the problem spots I was concerned about. He recommended a skin cream that would help protect me from further spots but he didn't push it on me or try to upsell me. It was very direct and professional- done within 10 minutes! Great place and worth recommending to anybody who hasn't had a general exam. Go get it done! It's quick and can save your life! My girlfriend signed up after me to have her spots checked and she had the same experience! If you get a spot removed, just make sure to regularly maintain it so it doesn't get infected! I had my first appointment today with Dr. Sedbrook for acne. The location was easy to find, lots of parking, and clean. The Derms office itself was very clean and the receptionist was welcoming. Check in was easy and done at the kiosk. I did complete the precheck online which may have contributed to the efficacy. Once I checked in and paid my copay, I received an email to activate my patient portal. As someone who had billing issues with other healthcare facilities, I love that I was able to access my visit summary and encounter form right away. From the moment I walked in to walking out, I was there for 30 minutes max. I was greeted by Nurse Elle within ~5 minutes of checking in. The nurse did the standard medical/family history questionnaire and once done, Dr. Sedbrook joined the appointment. I told her my concerns, she provided me with treatment options, and TOGETHER we chose a treatment plan. Elle was scribing during the appointment so she was able to see what prescription was covered, what needed a prior authorization, and for what’s not covered she priced them through GOODRX. My prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy by the time I left. Overall, it was a good experience. The only issue I had was with their online scheduling. Every time I selected an appointment slot, it would say “Sorry, that appointment is no longer available.” and the time slot would disappear. After 3 attempts for 3 different time slots, I decided to call to schedule instead.

I love this place doctor bigelow is amazing! I have been seeing her for 6 months now and she saved my skin! And the staff are all great people. They're also good at recommending facial products giving you samples. I discovered many amazing things with them. Just ask. And did I say doctor Bigelow is amazing!!! I don't think I'll ever see another dermatologist again I'm obsessed and committed. If you're looking for the best go see her or Just go to this place i'm sure the other dermatologist are amazing too. But I'll just stick with her!

Ten of those years were at First Bank System, Inc. and almost twenty of those years were in Administration at Hennepin County Medical Center. Because of my position, I worked with many physicians over the years. Most of them were Chiefs of Service in their respective fields and I really got to know them. I hope that someone is still reading this because the reason for that long introduction is to add some information about Dr. Meighan. Besides being exceptional and professional in her delivery of care, she is also very thorough and takes her time. She always asks me if I have any questions and, if I do, she always has the time to answer them. As I said earlier, I would recommend her highly.

READ... BELIEVE... And go to ZEL!!! A bump on my back had been there for 30 years. Recently, it got angry and I sought diagnosis and treatment. Being uninsured, it was terrifying to think of the cost! The places I first visited wanted hundreds of dollars just to look at it. None would reveal the potential cost to surgically remove it unless heavily pressed. Those same folks begrudgingly estimated between $600 and $800. Then I went to Zel. The first doctor took a quick look and said two things, "I cannot remove this, but our surgeon Karl Lance can do it." And, "There's no charge for today for me just to look at it." NO CHARGE! When scheduling for the procedure, they were forthcoming about the potential expense. The gentleman at the desk looked up a couple of codes and said, "should be right around $349 to remove." I was elated! When the day came, it was professional and painless all around. Karl's assistant Amy gave me detailed instructions on how to care for my wound upon leaving. She furthered, "And no alcohol for 48 hours." The look on my face probably told the story for she then said with a smile, "Well, we are all adults here." The charges were indeed exactly $349. A week later, Amy personally called me to inquire as to the status of my wound. Hey, now that's some great service! My final visit was to have the stiches removed. Amy removed them in about 2 minutes and then Dr. Karl came in to take a final look. He then asked me a series of questions about my recovery as to better understand when assisting others with a similar situation. There was no charge to have the stiches removed. On my way out, Amy asks, "Hey, do you want a cupcake?" Taken aback, I say, "oh yes, I frekkin' love cupcakes." Walking out the building and to my car in the parking lot, I was shaking my head in disbelief over how amazing my overall experience was - and how dang good that cupcake was! Final Note: It's been several months since the procedure. My once unsightly bump is not only gone, but there is literally not even a trace of a scar. Not a trace!
