Update. Machines are there still but are no longer being used. They have real tellers and the drive though is open! Machines are always out of service, drive through hasn’t been open in YEARS and I’m not sure if they even have “tellers” working anymore. The AAA worker is there and friendly (nutmeg should take notes) Would switch banks in a heartbeat but they make it difficult to withdraw money, can only imagine how hard it would be to close out accounts.
Hello, I just want to give a huge thank you to Mark! I was having a tough time navigating through opening an account, and Mark displayed incredible patience and empathy while walking me through the steps to open said account. Probably one of the most pleasant/kind customer service workers I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

Process was easy, the numerous times I needed online help was confusing at first with the DMV menu but once you get familiar it’s easier to deal with.
Best interest rate of any serious credit card I have. Also great place for my emergency savings account.
I actually had their 1st mortgage years ago and I have taken a loan for renovations. They remembered and the process was seamless and closed right in their location

This is an amazing organization totally committed to helping their customers. I will never give up my membership. When I went to convert my auto lease to purchase the rep gave me rate information. Been a member for over 20 years. No major issue. I mostly use online services because the branch locations are out of the way for me. Phone staff has always been very polite and helpful.

I’ve been banking here since I was 16. I had my first car loan and credit cards with them and I’ve always been beyond impressed by Nutmeg! I highly recommend them for all your banking needs!
The staff are friendly, but everytime I go, the machines inside are always down. It would also be great if they increased the APR % on their interest savings accounts (currently 0.01%. whereas other banks are 4.5%).
My recent experience was great. Christine took care of me and surprised me by remembering my name. Great customer service

Love this credit union, been a member for a long time. On-line banking super easy, haven't had the need to do brick and mortar for more than a year. Large network of free ATMs.
I have been a member of Nutmeg State for over 20 years. I have always had extremely wonderful service…. I never have had any issues that couldn’t be resolved. When I have called (which is rare) to ask a question, everyone is so helpful. I highly recommend Nutmeg!!!

Back in January I attempted to establish an EFT to a bank in New Hampshire for the purchase of a new car. I made 2 attempts with several phone calls to the Credit Union but no one could help me and tell me when the micro deposits were sent, after 2 attempts the bank at the other end was not receiving the test deposits so I was not able to verify the transfer. I hade to get a bank check from the CU and drive to the Dealer in New Hampshire to pay for my car. Very angry with the CU right now a very annoying experience and it's not the first one, just one of a few bad experiences. I have been a member for over 40 years, for the past 5 years the service has gotten worse.

Staff in Rocky Hill are always nice and work quickly My only ask is
as a CD gets close to maturity , having your staff reach out to mention a possible match of another bank/FCU. Twice I showed up to make the mature CD out to go to another FCU and then heard from the staff that they would match it. But hearing that then I wasnt going to leave the money. To be honest , I felt if you really wanted my money to stay you would have emailed or called me to say -- lets talk about possible matching scenario
Every time I deal with Nutmeg ( online or live or on the phone) my experience is simply awesome. That’s why I’ve been with Nutmeg for as long as I can remember and that a long time!!!
I used NSFCU for my financial needs for over 30 years. The staff are always very helpful when you call and friendly. The technology that NSFCU has allows me to continue my relationship with the credit union while living out of state which is fantastic. I highly recommend.
This is the best bank in CT! No matter what you need, they can help you. I have never once come across any employee who was not willing to help and provide absolutely incredible, friendly and very knowledgeable service! It’s the reason I have continued to be a member for decades.

I have had a Nutmeg State FCU account since 1975 and will never close it. I find the services to be what I need, rates to be the most competitive for mortgages and car loans and the employees to be pleasant, courteous and knowledgable. I highly recommend this institution for any of your banking needs.

Just had to cash a check and make a withdrawal. The young lady was very pleasant and helpful, never had a problem visiting my credit union.
The rep bent over backwards to get our car loan done, processed, and the money to the dealership so that we could drive our car home the same day.
Great bank to do business with. They do not charge for overdrafts and the Interest rates on their credit card is the lowest I’ve seen.

I've had an account for at least 55 years. My mother opened it when I was a child. I've kept the account despite the fact that I've moved to many states. Whenever I call, the representatives make me feel like I'm part of a family. They help me quickly, precisely and are always kind. It is my little piece of home that I intend to keep regardless of where I reside.
