First, I took out an auto loan with a great interest rate and paid it off, currently have a checking acct and a CD. Never even the slightest problem other than Nutmeg having an antique website. I understand that is changing very soon! Just when I learned the old one! It figures. I would highly recommend this financial institution.
I first started as a customer nearly 10 years ago when I lived in CT, well I moved from CT three years ago and when I need information about my account all I have to do is pickup the phone and I get to talk with a live person - they make sure to verify my identity and go to great lengths to do so - I love Nutmeg State FCU!!

The customer service has always been great, be it via telephone or in person at my local bank or even in another town. Excellent customer service. The staff is always friendly and patient. The machines used for deposit and withdrawals are often down or don’t work when used. I hope this branch invests more in people rather than machines. Staff is great. I prefer to work with people than machines.
