After that I was taken to an exam room by one of the medical assistants and as you are following her to the room, you cannot help but notice how sparklingly clean the whole office is. After a brief but thorough work up, the door opened and in walked a woman who instantly radiated warmth and caring. And, lucky me, it was Dr. Flamenbaum!! There is something so special about her that you instantly can trust her. She speaks with you, not to you. It was more like chatting with a friend (who happened to have a vast amount of information about dermatology lol) as opposed to a physician. I have been to many different dermatologists, but this time, I know I found the one! So to sum it all up: great reception, great medical assistant, great doctor. You know what to do next 😊

Hello, I am writing this five star review because I was so pleased with this office. If I could give it ten stars I would! My 6 year old went to see Dr Vinny Mangione in the new Hyde park location yesterday. She had a wart that was not going away and he walked us through our options on how to remove it. He walked into the office and made you feel so comfortable, explained our options and then we chose. When finished, he showed the kids how the nitrogen worked and they were so happy. The secretary went above and beyond to make sure I had my referral, which called the insurance company numerous times and then I spoke with the insurance company and they were so helpful to assist us. I was so pleased with the whole office from secretary to nurse to the doctor and even how sleek and clean the office looked. Thank you for this experience!

He was extremely informative, took time during our meeting to discuss my concerns and my goals and what I’m looking to achieve, this is how a doctor’s office experience should be, even the receptionist was welcoming and helpful. I know living in an urban city is hard to have one-on-one time with a doctor but this experience is what every office should try and strive for.

Last time when I saw a PA-C, Yaro, he listened to my concerns and is very knowledgable about my skin condition. This time I saw Vinnie. He is just as good and knowledgeable as Yaro. He prescribed me a stronger eczema ointment cream to use and I’m starting to see improvement. My next follow up visit will be in 6 months. I highly recommend Schweiger Dermatology Group. I especially love my doctor; Dr Helen Flamenbaum. I've been to many dermatologists over the years before being referred to her and I was never happy like I am now. One time I was having a skin condition I went to a hospital my dermatologist and another doctor, no one could diagnose me. I was referred to Dr Flamenbaum by another wonderful doctor; Dr Jonathan Kuznitz. While I was at an appointment with him I asked him if he could recommend a Dermatologist. The minute Dr Flamenbaum examined me and heard my symptoms she knew exactly what was wrong with me. I was cured with the problem in a short period of time. She's the best!

The New Hyde Park office is easy to get to, and there is parking available. Dr. Bhatti is an amazing doctor, very skilled, and very compassionate. He did a great job on my facial Mohs surgery. His assistants are all kind and attentive. I feel lucky to have had Dr. Bhatti for my surgery as the scar is barely noticeable and it’s only been 3 months since the surgery. I would highly recommend him!

Great experience today with a new , highly sanitized check in at Schweiger. Electronic check in just to confirm all of my established bio. Only 1 other patient was in the waiting room. Less than 5 minute wait time. I have been a patient of Dr. Flamanbaum for 27 years. I love her understated approach to my dermatology issues. She is worth meeting! I used to feel more rushed, but now things are better spaced for accurate consultations. Worth visiting in person.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Flamenbaum’s for many years now. She is very, very serious about her patients’ well being. She is thorough, compassionate and takes the time to listen to what you have to say. If not for her I may not be here today. On two occasions she biopsied two spots that didn’t look like your typical cancerous lesions. They turned out to be melanoma. On other occasions she’s removed a number of abnormal tissues. Dr. Flamenbaum’s staff is and always been cordial and pleasant. I pretty much know them all by their first names. Funny, at times I have to stop myself from calling Dr. Flamenbaum by her first name☺.

I found Dr. Flamenbaum patient, thorough, and informative. Waiting time upon arrival was less than five minutes. She took as much time as was necessary for the exam and did not rush out to see the next patient. I give her the highest rating possible.
The best. I had a piece of glass in my right index finger and he was really professional and gentle on taking it out. Highly recommend him.
