Highly recommend! We switched to this clinic after a poor experience at another pediatric dentist. My daughter was very nervous and apprehensive after her last experience. The hygienist, Autumn, was fantastic. She was calm, patient, sweet and explained everything to her before she started. If my daughter needed a break Autumn went with the flow. I’m so thankful to have switched to MPDA and would recommend to my family and friends!

Brook did an amazing job with my 3-year old. It was her first visit and she made the process easy, simple, and fun for her! The initial visit was quick, they had a tv screen to entertain my toddler while getting her teeth cleaned, and the lobby had quarter machines with prizes (they get a tolen at the end to use toward this!). Overall great experience and will return for future cleanings.

My children have been with this dentist since they’re two years old. They’re now 16 and 17. Not sure what’s gonna happen when they have to graduate to a different dentist everybody there makes you feel safe welcome and always comforting what are the hygienist? Brooke has even went all the way out to my vehicle to get my daughter because she has anxiety. They go above and beyond.

My daughter recently had a dental emergency and from the first touch with Dr. Bates on the phone to her meeting us with Molly after hours in the clinic to the follow up from Dr. Nickman and Brooke- wow. This the absolute best dental practice visit I have had. My son was very apprehensive about his visit to the dentist and took some convincing to get him inside. He was immediately put at ease by Christina who was very engaging and explained the process to me at length. She made the whole experience seamless and fun and was able to get all her work done. Nary a tear or scream from my son but excited story telling about his favourite cartoon show that she put on for him! My son had a fantastic time and met with Dr Grove who is great. We had been dreading this visit as a family but I must say it wasn’t necessary. This office is the best and I would recommend it to any parent who has a kid with sensory needs. We have found our place at last!

Fast and timely efficient cleaning. Child was anxious and not receptive to hygienist. The office was quick to remedy the situation with an extremely understanding hygienist who gave child a 2nd chance and all went great. Child even thanked her after the cleaning. Dr. Grove made patient comfortable and was pleasant with both child and parent. Only thing missing was direction reminder to parent as to when child can eat after treatment. All in all a great experience!

We were recommended to Dr. Nickman at MPDA by our son's special education teacher. Our 8 year old son has Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and severe sensory issues pertaining to his mouth, and we have tried many pediatric dentists and have never had a full cleaning, let alone x-rays, but Dr. Nickman was able to do both in under 30 minutes. We were very impressed with MPDA's approach and, though our son screamed and cried the whole time, everyone kept their cool and they didn't make us feel worse than we already did!

Everyone here was so good with my kiddos. I was surprised at how "unrushed" everybody seemed. The hygienist took time to just chat with my sons before she even asked them to get into the chair. They are clearly taking covid precautions seriously- so everything seemed clean and I saw them disinfecting everything after we used it. The whole visit was well done and very efficient, no complaints from my 6 and 3 year old. We have definatley found our new dentist for the kiddos. See you in 6 months!

The Hygienist that worked with my 3 year old was amazing! She calmly talked her through all of the procedures and helped keep her calm and engaged through the cleaning process! The dentist was also great and was comforting! I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!

Wonderful staff. The hygienist was so good with my (almost) 3 year old and gave great brushing and flossing tips. They had lots of movies for kids to choose from while getting their teeth cleaned. The dentist was also great with my daughter. They let her choose a prize at the end which was very exciting for her.

Both of my kids enjoyed seeing the staff at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental in North Oaks. They saw Dr. Grove today for the first time, and they both agreed he was friendly guy. I have been bringing my girls to the North Oaks location for 14 and 9 years! I will not bring my kids anywhere else. My 11 year old just got two baby teeth pulled today and was terrified before we got there and all the way up until Brooke got her. Brooke was so kind and gentle, I know she helped make my daughter feel more at ease.

I believe all of my siblings went here growing up! We all fell in love with dental care because of this place. We loved getting our teeth done because it felt so cool having someone else brush our teeth and we viewed it more as a privelege vs something to dread. None of us rarely had cavities though but 3 or 4 of us did have braces and still all love teeth. One sister is now a dentist herself. I am 26 at this time currently, and Dr. Fong is the only one I remember by name. I am hoping to get insurance figured out so that I can now take my toddler in so she can have a love for dental care as I did. -Aubrey H

Dr. Fong and the staff have treated all of my kids since they were able to visit the dentist. They have all had their orthodontics done by them as well. I can't speak highly enough for the professionalism and courteousness of the entire staff. They engage with not only the parents but with all of the kids in such a positive manner. This was our first visit to this dentist. I brought my 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old and the staff was wonderful with them! Sarah was amazing with my son who was trying to be brave but cried several times. Then my son was upset that the little toy he got at the end wasn’t green (his favorite color) and the lady at the front desk came to my rescue and let him trade it. Sooo kind and wonderful to leave the office on a positive note when they are so little and shaping their impressions of going to the dentist 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 THANK YOU! Dr. Fong was also wonderful!

Dr. Teresa Fong is awesome! I think she is the best pediatric dentist we have seen till now. My son had to go for few crowns and Dr. Fong did it so well that even other dentists appreciate it.

We absolutely appreciate Dr. Fong and her staff. She has gone above and beyond on a few occasions. Once, when my daughter chipped her tooth and the other when my son was having tooth pain. Both times we didn't have appointments and both times she squeezed us in and put my children at ease. My son even has said he wants to be a dentist, just like Dr. Fong. We have been coming to Metro Pediatric Dental for years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Fong and the entire team at Metro Pediatric Dental: North Oaks for being the BEST!

My boys have been coming to see Dr. Fong for three years (since they were 1 1/2). Not once have they cried or been scared to get their teeth cleaned. They do a great job and we are in and out in no time. Great service. Would recommend.

We started going here 6 years ago with a three year old who had malformed enamel. He has had several fillings that were necessary to preserve his teeth until his adult teeth come in. Having a child with sensory issues, I found them quite accomodating for me and him. They explained everything to him, had him touch the tools, had me sit in the chair with his legs across mine, always in eye contact or touch with him. I have recommended several other families to this dentist and they have all have very positive experiences, both child and parent. I have seen many scared and screaming children in the office, and they were all handled with care. Always ask questions, they will answer. The only problem with this office is some of the desk people.
