Autumn was so confident and kind in making my nervous 2 year old feel safe! They are so fast and on time for appointments.. key with kids

My daughter was very hesitant with going to dentist but this time around she wasn’t scared and Sarah the hygienist did an amazing job with her. She made her comfortable and works very well with kids. Dr grove also saw my daughter and was good as well.
This team is wonderful with children! The care is outstanding, I highly recommend this Dentist and team!! I have to add this my son Austin would like to leave a 1,000 star review. He said the Dentist and team treated me like family❤️. I dont think its gets better then that! Thank you for making his experience so comfortable and enjoyable.
Great place , my daughter is never nervous or scared to go to the dentist! She loves all the kid friendly things like the TV, stickers and coin to get a prize. The dentist is so nice to the kids and is very thorough when talking about procedures
This place is like heaven for my kids we always get one of the best care for 7years thank you for everything
Highly recommend! We switched to this clinic after a poor experience at another pediatric dentist. My daughter was very nervous and apprehensive after her last experience. The hygienist, Autumn, was fantastic. She was calm, patient, sweet and explained everything to her before she started. If my daughter needed a break Autumn went with the flow. I’m so thankful to have switched to MPDA and would recommend to my family and friends!
The staff at MPDA are really caring and knowledgeable. My kids feel comfortable at their appointments.
Brook did an amazing job with my 3-year old. It was her first visit and she made the process easy, simple, and fun for her! The initial visit was quick, they had a tv screen to entertain my toddler while getting her teeth cleaned, and the lobby had quarter machines with prizes (they get a tolen at the end to use toward this!). Overall great experience and will return for future cleanings.
My children have been with this dentist since they’re two years old. They’re now 16 and 17. Not sure what’s gonna happen when they have to graduate to a different dentist everybody there makes you feel safe welcome and always comforting what are the hygienist? Brooke has even went all the way out to my vehicle to get my daughter because she has anxiety. They go above and beyond.

Every single staff member at Metropolitan dental north oaks is amazing. They always make sure my son feels comfortable at his appointments and explain the process of what is happening. I went here as a little girl ( Many many years ago..) and saw Dr. Nickman so when I had my own child I knew he would go here as well and always be in great hands. :) Thank you for all you do !
Everyone is very kind and patient with kids. They find a way to provide wonderful service even when a child is scared or hesitant.

Our family is so grateful for MPDA! My daughter recently had a dental emergency and from the first touch with Dr. Bates on the phone to her meeting us with Molly after hours in the clinic to the follow up from Dr. Nickman and Brooke- wow. Everyone we came into contact with was caring, friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring and professional. We knew this already in receiving routine dental care for all 4 of our kids, but what a reinforcement. Thank you for the important work that you all do every day!

My daughter’s first time to that dentist location in Shoreview and they did like it. They said that the staff to the Doctor they made them feel safe.

Hygienist Sarah is the absolute BEST!! She accommodates my son, who has a hard time at the dentist and today was our best visit yet because of the care she gives my son. Dr Nickman is also wonderful and gives great care to all of my kids! We are so thankful for the care we get here!

I’m amazed, this is our third visit with our two year old and he does amazing, thanks to their gentle but professional model! I feel educated as a parent and my kid about dentistry but not in a simplified way! My two year old loves learning about his teeth even more than the sunglasses and Disney movie!!
I got a filling done and it didn’t hurt because they used laughing gas so then I wouldn’t focus on it and it worked!
Another amazing trip to the dentist for my kiddo! Had to get a tooth pulled unexpectedly and it went so well! Can’t say enough great things about everyone here, especially Katie! Thank you for all you guys do!

The hygienists and Dr. Grove have been so kind and attentive to our son’s dental needs and answered our questions along the way. My son has never experienced dread in going to the dentist, which I am thankful for!

The care my children received was superior to any care we have had in years past at other dental clinics. As a mom, I was shown the x-rays and walked through their dental plan with the dentist himself. This was more information than I've ever been offered at our previous dentists. Also, the front desk ladies were very nice. I was very impressed and I know that my kids are in great hands. Thank you MPDA!

Dr Nickman has been such a wonderful dentist for my sons. I now have two of them who have aged out of having a pediatric dentist and I wish they could see him forever. His care, compassion and fun loving nature has made the world of difference in their dental care experiences for the past 19 years!
My daughter is very afraid of going to the dentist. She had her teeth cleaned with Angela and it was a great experience. She helped her feel so relaxed and really took her time explaining things.

I was super nervous to take my 2.5 year old because he historically hadn’t done well at doctor appts. The staff were so kind and made the appointment go as smooth as possible.

I found Metro Peds Dental around 14 years ago when we needed a dentist that could work with a young child with major sensory issues. Every visit since then has been wonderful and exactly what my son needed. The staff has the perfect mix of patience, smiles, listening, and of course, comprehensive dental services. My son just "graduated" from the pediatric age-range and we will miss the North Oaks office very much - thank you Dr. Nickman and staff :)

Our experience was great! The hygienists and dentists are great. My daughter had a great time. Lots of prices for the kids which makes the experience so smooth.
