Jana was so knowledgeable and very comfortable to be massaged by. I hurt my shoulder at the gym and Jana tracked the multiple neck, chest, shoulder muscles related to the injury and worked on them. I am going to recommend her to others and I already booked my next session. 5 star service. Thanks Jana.
I never regret a visit to Merse at Holmview. There are 6 magnesium spas - one at body temp, three at 38 degrees, one at 12 degrees and one at 6 degrees. There are also two traditional saunas and they offer other services as well, such as massage. There are cool showers to rinse between the spas and saunas, and warm showers in the bathrooms which are part of the adjoining gym. You can store your things in the free lockers during your visit, it's always squeaky clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have some free fruit and water out for guests, and you can rent towels if you forget. There is heaps of free parking out the front too. It's worth following their socials as they offer very affordable specials often.
I visited this bathhouse for the first time and was so impressed from start to finish. The space is beautifully designed — spacious, spotless, and very calming. Everything feels thoughtfully presented and well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcome over the phone and in person. The bathrooms are shared with the gym, but they’re absolutely amazing — modern, immaculate, and really well equipped. I loved that the female bathroom had Dyson hair dryers and Cloud 9 straighteners available to use, such a nice touch!
I’d like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for two outstanding team members at your Bethania wellness spa—Tracy and Lucie. As a regular visitor and someone with a background in customer service, I’ve consistently observed the exceptional standards these two ladies uphold. Their friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining the wet areas, drinking station, and locker facilities have truly set them apart. Their teamwork and presence created a welcoming, hygienic, and safe environment that elevated the entire spa experience. Recently, I’ve noticed that Tracy and Lucie are no longer rostered together, and I must admit the difference is noticeable. While I understand staffing changes are inevitable, I wanted to highlight how much their partnership contributed to the atmosphere and overall quality of service. The newer staff, while enthusiastic, don’t yet demonstrate the same level of care and consistency that Tracy and Lucie brought to every shift. Please consider bringing Lucie back to Bethania and, if possible, reuniting her with Tracy. Their dedication and synergy are truly special, and I believe many guests would echo this sentiment. My experience at Merse was good, but worthy of a few caveats. Firstly, the saunas, cold plunge and hot baths are amazing - 10/10. Great for relaxing and soothing the body. Next up - the change room situation - while it is odd having to connect through the gym to shower and change, I actually preferred it to other bathhouses where they’ve had individual unisex cubicles or lockers and change curtains in a hallway. It’s not for everyone, but I didn’t mind it. Lastly - ambiance - it’s not the best, ultimately you’re inside a windowless room in a big box retail store, but it’s pretty good, especially for the location and if you get a cheap deal. Price-wise - I’m not sure I’d pay full price, but there’s lots of discount options. I didn’t get a massage there, and I probably wouldn’t. Looks overpriced and poor quality. Would I recommend it? Yes, but be aware of what you’re in for. Now the downsides
I absolutely love popping into Merse during the week. To help me wind down, relax and work on me. The ladies are always so lovely and welcoming. Clean, tidy facilities, Nice cold filtered water and even apples for a quick bite if you need. This is a great investment in your health and wellbeing.
Such a great little spa! And a fabulous price tag. It’s clean and so very relaxing, we will definitely be returning

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to not only guide me my friend through the amenities but also educating us on the best routine for optimal results. The facilities are top-notch, featuring a traditional sauna, ice baths, and hot spas—all impeccably maintained. The contrast therapy between the sauna, ice baths, and hot spas was invigorating and left me feeling completely refreshed. The attention to detail and overall ambiance make this a perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation. Also the women’s change room have blow dryers, hair straighteners and hair curling irons! Very easy to book via the app. Keen to come back🎀✨
