My Husband had a procedure and was very nervous. Marcy the surgical assistant was wonderful. She explained everything and her compassion was above and beyond. Dr Aspen was just as good and did a wonderful job and was by far one of the nicest very qualified Drs my husband has dealt with and being a double transplant patient. He has dealt with many doctors. We would not hesitate to recommend this group. Quick note even waiting in the waiting room the receptionist filled us in on the procedure and let us know would be taken care of shortly.

Kerrianne is fabulous. She provided me with a thorough routine check-up. No question was too small or insignificant for her to answer. I did end up with an issue a few months later that she did an excellent job addressing and caring for. This office really puts the patient first! Only negative, the Schweiger call center to make an appointment. Definitely not US based & rather rude/unhelpful. Best advice is to book through ZocDoc or make your appointment while at the office.

I always visit Salvatore Sciurba, PA-C at the Manahawkin office. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes in the lobby. Staff is very courteous. Sal is very thorough and explains my condition so that I understand what is going on & how to remedy or treat the issue(s). A plan is always in place that is easy to follow. Any prescription is filled on the spot & sent to the pharmacy of my choice. If the medication is not covered by insurance, there always seems to be a coupon for a discount or an online pharmacy for me to contact on my own. The online pharmacy is always reasonably priced.

I Had to have a biopsy done. Dr Sciurba and his assistant were gentle and I felt no pain, they explained exactly what was being done and put me at ease. Dr Sciurba had a wonderful bedside manner and listened and looked at me as i spoke, which I’ve noticed is becoming less frequent with most physicians using a computer as they talk to you. My prescription was also sent to another location to be filled because it wasn’t covered by my insurance and they were able to get me the prescription for a small charge. Receptionist was also very nice and helpful. Will definitely be making this my permanent Dermatologist.

After visitng a few dermatologists, all of them pushed accutane without taking my concerns into account. When I came here, they listened, acknowleged that my conserns were valid, and provided a great topical treatment for my acne. 2 months later, my skin is exponentially better and almost clear! When I got there they said my daughters appointment was canceled for some reason and the NP was leaving. The NP stayed to see my daughter and they put her back on the schedule. I had an 8:00AM appointment at Schweiger Dermatology's office in Manahawkin, NJ on Thursday Feb. 25, 2021. I arrived at 7:55AM and was greeted by Debby who was very pleasant and helpful. After waiting approximately 5 - 10 min. I was taken into an exam room and Volha Savelyeva come in almost as soon I got settled. She spoke with me about my previous care and asked if I have any specific concerns. I pointed out a few areas I was concerned about and she looked at them and provided treatment and then proceeded to do a full body exam. She was very professional and easy to understand and made me feel very at ease. I was so pleased with my visit that got my wife to schedule an appointment for next week. One of the best experiences I've had at a dermatology office and I have been to several over the years! I hope this is informative.

I went to the Schweiger Dermatology Group in Manahawkin for the first time on 12/14. I really didn't know what to expect other than my daughter had told me that the NP Kim who worked there is wonderful. I was extremely nervous, apprehensive and defensive, and just totally stressed out with everything that was/is going on in this world, country and my life. I was wishing I hadn't made the appointment because I pretty much knew that I have the skin condition that my mother has and she was told by several that it isn't curable. No it isn't cancer. When I first got there and looked around I felt that the waiting room was very stark and modern, the receptionist behind the desk gave me a tablet? that I was supposed to use to fill out info on. I had a difficult time reading the questions that I was supposed to answer because I was so nervous and distraught and for the most part couldn't get the tablet? to work. The receptionist was very pleasant. She helped me and was very kind to me. After a few minutes of waiting after answering the questions someone took me to a room. She asked more questions and was also very nice. Then Kim came into the room and she was everything that my daughter said she was. Kim is kind, compassionate, understanding, reassuring and I can not say enough about her. She gave me information that I found helpful. Let me back up a moment, a number of years ago I had gone to a dermatologist in Hammonton, NJ and my experience there was exactly the opposite of what I experienced at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Manahawkin. It was like night and day. It was because of the staff and especially because of Kim. I will be returning there with confidence. I most certainly recommend that office.

We went for my 5 year old son, and brought along my infant and 4 year old. Debbie at the front desk is awesome. She is so patient and kind and caring. My children felt very comfortable in the waiting room. Dr. Sal was great with my son and is very knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. The staff we encountered were all friendly and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend.

The Manahawkin office is clean and organized. Unfortunately, the wait time is horrendous. Went here with my son and myself. Both times the wait was well over a half hour to just get to the room.. then I had to wait for the doctor. Having an 8 month old with me makes this a bit of an inconvenience. The receptionist is fantastic though! Update: Last time I was at the office I barely had a wait. I suggest getting an appointment in the early afternoon. Definitely a better idea.

I had a wonderful experience. I actually got an appointment the same day that I called so it was very practical. The receptionist was super friendly and Lori the nurse practitioner was amazing and I will definitely be going back to have my annual check ups!!

Today was my first time going to Schweiger Dermatology and I must say that my experience was excellent. I needed to get cortisone injections because of a breakout on my neck and I was greeted promptly and with friendliness by Debbie at reception. Lori, the practicing assistant, expertly injected me and wrote me a prescription for a retinol product to treat further breakouts. The nurse’s assistant was extremely kind, asking me all of the necessary questions with brevity and alacrity. I would highly recommend this dermatologist and will be back if needed!

Manahawkin- I am exceptionally pleased with the service that I received. The level of professionalism and compassion exhibited provided comfort to what I was experiencing. Everyone that I encountered were AWESOME. Cohesiveness, unity, and respect among the staff was profoundly demonstrated. For these reasons, I would definitely continue services, and; also recommend someone to this office. Kudos to Sal's team for their great customer(patient) service.
