We were introduced to Dr. Daniel Amen's work through our daughter, who became very interested in Dr. Amen’s highly respected and specialized approach to brain health. The concept of evaluating the brain with the same level of attention and precision given to other organs is both innovative and incredibly insightful. We are truly grateful to have access to this care. Our eldest daughter has suffered from migraines since her early teenage years. Although we continually searched for answers, we had slowly come to accept this as part of her life. After much consideration, we decided to move forward with the Amen process, and the experience has been exceptional. The evaluation process is extremely thorough. Our daughter underwent two brain scans, and we recently met with Dr. Julie Brush, who was knowledgeable, compassionate, calming, and reassuring throughout the appointment. We also learned how past head injuries can contribute to a variety of health concerns, which was incredibly enlightening for our family. After nearly 4 years of constant migraines, mental health challenges, and other strange health issues, our family finally found real answers at Amen Clinics with Dr. Faber. We brought my 20-year-old daughter, Lily, after years of feeling stuck and dismissed. Other doctors essentially threw their hands up and gave up with the last neurologist referring us to the Cleveland Clinic for pain management, but Dr. Faber did what no one else had done—he kept digging until he found the true root cause. He ultimately diagnosed her with mold toxicity, CIRS, and chronic fatigue, and that diagnosis has been life-changing for us because it gave us a clear direction and a plan. What stands out most is that Dr. Faber never gives up. He continues to research, ask questions, and go deeper instead of settling for vague answers. He has patiently answered every question we’ve had, laid out a clear protocol, and always explains things step-by-step—not just what we need to do, but why. This semester, Lily had to take a medical withdrawal from her university, and Dr. Faber responded quickly with suggestions and therapies to help support her recovery and get her back on track for next semester. I had such an excellent experience having my evaluation at Amen Clinics Los Angeles! The staff and scan technician were wonderful and gently walked me through every part of the process. Dr. Faber has a wealth of knowledge in both psychiatry and integrative medicine and has already started me on a meaningful path to recovery. I don’t think there’s really a way for me to adequately express and summarize what this experience has been like for me. I feel our society has been conditioned to put complete faith into doctors in knowing what is best for us. This causes a huge hindrance on the ability to trust and listen to our own bodies and recognize that we know them best. But ignoring our own symptoms and not fighting through to get answers can have some major negative and long term impacts. Dr. Storage made me feel seen and heard. Nothing about him was dismissive or demeaning. He was compassionate, kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, adept at explaining complicated things in an easy to understand way and just overall a great human being. To finally have some answers and the start of more has been and will be life-changing for me and my children. Chelsea was absolutely amazing. Some of these tests could probably be kind of scary for children, but she was just naturally warm and such a calm, comforting demeanor. She is definitely a huge asset to Amen Clinics. The entire staff was so kind, gentle, compassionate, and accommodating. I highly recommend Amen Clinics. Thank you to the entire staff at this location, you are all amazing.

Professional, organized and compassionate. Functional brain imaging shed more light to our understanding of our son's condition, and served to provide a more specific target for treatment. Our son has responded positively to the treatment and the change is noticeable. Our son has a combined dx of adhd and Asd. His adhd symptoms had always responded to stimulants but ASD sx were harder to treat. He was taking intuniv with no noticeable change. Our experience with Dr. Storage, the child psychiatrist was exceptional. He never seemed rushed, and took his time going thru the assessment results and was very informative. We also signed up for a neurofeedback protocl with mendi to be done at home and enrolled in a study that he was spearheading. In summery we are really please with and glad to have decided to have Amen clinics get involved in our child's care.

A couple of years ago I had a horrible experience. I was drugged while on a canal cruise in Florida. It caused a brain injury, but an MRI didn’t show anything. I was diagnosed with TIA. And that’s as far as any treatment and any investigation into my health went. There were obvious changes changes in memory, speech, etc. since the incident and I needed answers and I needed someway to move forward. The Amen Clinic provided that. They did an extensive comprehensive evaluation of my history, current situation, and the scans. Dr. Storage reviewed everything and spent quite a long time with me explaining the effects on my brain, in terms that I could understand . He then gave me a treatment plan of how to move forward to improve my brain’s function. This is a holistic approach, including lifestyle, supplements and medication. Absolutely everyone at that clinic was sensitive to my needs, they were sincere in honestly and truly wanting to help me find answers. That was just the beginning of this journey. There are several follow up appointments that I feel are critical in getting the most out of my treatment plan. I would tell anyone and everyone if you’re having difficulty and you aren’t finding your answers please contact the Amen Clinic. You won’t be disappointed.

For several years my wife has been tested for toxins, recommended supplements as well as various therapies (Red Light aka photobiomudulation, sauna, TDCS, etc). These have all been in an effort to combat cognitive decline. Whether they have worked or not it is so difficult to measure. After having a SPECT scan done at the Amen clinic (Scottsdale), and seeing that there are regions of my wifes brain to have low blood flow, we felt like we finally have something concrete, something we can see, and attack, and check again later for progress. Everyone at the Amen clinic from the front desk, assistants, and Doctors after the scan have been so helpful, encouraging and supportive. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our Health Care System is broken. It's no secret. Amen Clinics and it's founder Dr. Daniel Amen are a beacon of hope for many people and families who have run out of options and are tired of the current "patient to pill" controlled system that the pharmaceutical industry has so intelligently lobbied and fine tuned. At the Amen Clinics, the patient will receive a visual proof of what is happening "under the hood," (or in your brain to be specific) and with thousands of scans and research to back up their approach to diagnosis, this is by far the best method available to date for all mental/brain related health issues. The current "tell me what's wrong and I'll guess a diagnosis without any hard evidence" approach is outdated and must be phased out.

After suffering a TBI among many other injuries from a motorcycle crash, I was told about Amen Clinic. Once I was able, I made an appointment and went through the process. After all results were in, the results showing lack of blood flow and damage from the crash was evident. This comfirmed my ongoing double vision issues, severe headaches, and vertigo. Doctor Parsons and doctor Brush both took control of my case and began the brain healing treatment process. They quickly determined I needed to begin Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) due to pituitary/hypothalamus gland dysfunction from damage caused by the crash. Their focus has been to restore what will hopefully soon be a revised version of my highly functioning self again! Had I not began this process, who knows where I would be today..... This entire ordeal has taught me so much and the medical staff has been very easy to work with! I always do my own extensive research prior to starting any treatments. The doctors are always willing to listen to my concerns and implement exactly what treatment is needed. It is hard to find doctors like this these days.
