I know there are a lot of negative reviews about Jucy, so I wanted to share my personal experience. After booking, we saw all the bad feedback and were a bit worried. But honestly, we had a really good experience. We booked the Coaster with the highest cover and picked it up in Sydney. The staff were friendly and explained all the features clearly. The van was practically new (only 9,000 km on the clock), clean, and well-presented. We travelled at the end of August, which is a quieter time of year, so that may have helped. We made sure to avoid tolls, stuck to the speed limits, and followed the return instructions (full tank, emptied the water). Drop-off was quick and easy, we just handed back the keys. Within an hour we got an email confirming the check-in, and our full security deposit was refunded within 48 hours. Overall, we really enjoyed the campervan and would happily use Jucy again. They’re a large company, so clearly they’re doing something right. My only small suggestions (not enough to affect my rating) would be: Better use of storage space, maybe above the chairs or over the kitchen/fridge area, since once the bed is set up you don’t really access the under-seat storage. Adding drawer grippers to stop dishes and pans from sliding around while driving. But otherwise, we had a smooth and positive experience.
We just hired a car from Sydney for 4 days. Bookings was cheap and easy, pick up from the airport was easy, they upgraded us and the vehicle was clean and did the job for us :) overall, we were quite pleased with the whole process. We were also dropped to the airport in the morning upon leaving. I work in the rental car industry, and I couldn’t fault the whole process. Great job guys at JUCY Car rentals, Mascot, Sydney
We had a very good experience hiring a Jucy Condo for a four week trip. Very good service on both pick up and drop off and the camper van was quite comfortable. One note is to make sure you take plenty of time for the walkthrough when you pick up the van because there were a few things we were confused about our first day. (However, there is an online manual that is helpful if you remember to check it.)
recently hired a car in sydney and no issues with jucy. the car provided was clean and well looked after. it had no issues over the 5 days and was economical on fuel. the pickup and dropoff to sydney airport was quick and easy. thank you.
Had a great experience renting a camper from Sydney to Melbourne. Great company, really helpful and friendly to deal with. Spacious camper with comfy bed. Only dropped a star as the Velcro on the curtains had come off for a number of them and needed replacing.
The staff were very helpful .They explained everything so hiccups when on our travels
Fantastic experience hiring a car from here, good communication, convenient location and a trouble free car. Freddie at reception was a fantastic bloke and made the process super simple - he also dropped a hot tip about using the free shuttle bus from the airport; so don’t make my mistake and walk from the airport to Jucy 😅
Excellent experience from start to finish. I appreciated the free, friendly airport pick-up, seamless check-in process, and affordable, older but well-maintained and easy-to-drive vehicle. I would gladly hire from JUCY again. Cheers.
Rented a mid size car for 10 days of travelling between Sydney and Brisbane. Really good price and the car was adequate and up to the job. Really easy pick up and drop off process
Everything was super easy. We had a great Roadtrip with our Campervan. We made great memories and we definitely gonna do it again :)

We had a great experience. We hired a Star Polaris for 11 days. The team at JUCY, including Leo and many others were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The online support team included Matthew and Dan. For any questions and queries about the display panel, they always replied very promptly with helpful advice and information, solving the problem for us. All-in -all a very positive experience. We would return to hire another RV from this company. Well done!
Excellent service. Pick up was very efficient and informative. During our stay we were informed of serious weather issues and plans changed and staff were very helpful with sorting out change's. Very happy and would recommend JUCY for affordable and reliable car hire
Very friendly staff with a no fuss approach. My coaster van was clean and tidy on pickup and good instructions given by the lady on the features and van controls.
forgot to write my review... i don't get why the many bad reviews, everything went smoothly when I booked this back in October 2024. booking through the website was easy. I got the insurance cover so it cost a bit more but it gave me relief because I don't need to worry about things. check in was super smooth. my van was ready and the staff did some final checks. fuel tank was full. I know the vehicle might be old, but it was a toyota and I couldn't complain about it. It easily went 110kmph on the motorway and through dirt roads. AC was cool. every amenities was there: water tank, chopping boards, knives, and cutleries. the upper tent was also easy to set up. overall i've had a good experience with Jucy. with its price, it was a wonderful trip. can't wait to rent another campervan soon!
We had a fantastic experience with Jucy at Sydney airport. The staff were great. Freddy, in particular, was absolutely lovely, and extremely helpful. He drove us to the airport when we missed the shuttle and were running late! Extremely kind, and saved us from missing out flight! THANK YOU, Freddy! :) The car was great, too. Would definitely rent from them again.
I liked the car well. Its complete with all the stuff you need to cook and to sleep and i ve got a brandnew chair for free, which was awesome! 10/10 stars!
My three friends and I rented a jucy condo for 32 days (Sydney to Adelaide). We absolutely loved it. I was apprehensive about the van reading all the reviews, but we never had technical issues with it. We still got the stress-free insurance which was expensive (1200$). When we were contacting jucy on the road, they were very helpful. The van comes with plug sockets, USB plugs, and a phone holder for GPS. The van for 4 people is a bit cramped, but it works, and we still fitted 2 minimal surfboards in it! Highly recommend
