Again, a nice jucy experience. We were travelling with two boys (3+6) and they loved the bed in the roof of the Condo. We were only traveling 3 nights. it was a bit difficult with the luggage etc. Most difficult was putting on and off the shoes as the way to the back was packed with stuff. So we needed to get out on the side. Driving, parking etc was very easy and setting up as well. The child seat was also fine. I really enjoyed the travel!

Very happy with the experience overall. The van condo was good, convenient to use, and the teams at pickup and drop were nice. Some corrections would be necessary: steering was not right, and lacking most velcros on the curtains. I have reported the steering issue to the drop team but they dismissed it.

Came by to get a malfunction of the sliding door fixed. Staff was very nice and helpful - immediately offering a replacement vehicle or an immediate repair which would take up to 30min. We decided to get it fixed. While waiting staff offered to replace towels, bed linen, pillows, gas bottles and even cleaned our dishes. While waiting we went for a coffee and got the money refunded within 2 min. All in all a very pleasant experience. Face to face customer service was a 10/10!

Das Auto selber hat sich in den vier Wochen als sehr robust erwiesen. Wir haben über 8000 km ohne die kleinste Schwierigkeit gefahren. Lediglich das untere Bett könnte von der Unterkonstruktion etwas stabiler sein. Wir können den Condo für einen Roadtrip als Alternative zu einem großen Wohnmobil absolut empfehlen, wenn man es etwas günstiger möchte. Der Service bei Jucy war auch absolut super.

We had a really good experience with Jucy during our Australia trip. Even though we had an issue with our camper, the team handled everything very professionally, quickly and transparently and fairly. The price for the rental was fair, and the overall service was great. After reading some of the negative reviews, we were a bit unsure before booking, but based on our experience, we can only say that everything went smoothly and the customer service was excellent.

I know there are a lot of negative reviews about Jucy, so I wanted to share my personal experience. After booking, we saw all the bad feedback and were a bit worried. But honestly, we had a really good experience. We booked the Coaster with the highest cover and picked it up in Sydney. The staff were friendly and explained all the features clearly. The van was practically new (only 9,000 km on the clock), clean, and well-presented. We travelled at the end of August, which is a quieter time of year, so that may have helped. We made sure to avoid tolls, stuck to the speed limits, and followed the return instructions (full tank, emptied the water). Drop-off was quick and easy, we just handed back the keys. Within an hour we got an email confirming the check-in, and our full security deposit was refunded within 48 hours. Overall, we really enjoyed the campervan and would happily use Jucy again. They’re a large company, so clearly they’re doing something right. My only small suggestions (not enough to affect my rating) would be: Better use of storage space, maybe above the chairs or over the kitchen/fridge area, since once the bed is set up you don’t really access the under-seat storage. Adding drawer grippers to stop dishes and pans from sliding around while driving. But otherwise, we had a smooth and positive experience.

We just hired a car from Sydney for 4 days. Bookings was cheap and easy, pick up from the airport was easy, they upgraded us and the vehicle was clean and did the job for us :) overall, we were quite pleased with the whole process. We had a very good experience hiring a Jucy Condo for a four week trip. Very good service on both pick up and drop off and the camper van was quite comfortable. One note is to make sure you take plenty of time for the walkthrough when you pick up the van because there were a few things we were confused about our first day. (However, there is an online manual that is helpful if you remember to check it.)

forgot to write my review... i don't get why the many bad reviews, everything went smoothly when I booked this back in October 2024. booking through the website was easy. I got the insurance cover so it cost a bit more but it gave me relief because I don't need to worry about things. check in was super smooth. my van was ready and the staff did some final checks. fuel tank was full. I know the vehicle might be old, but it was a toyota and I couldn't complain about it. It easily went 110kmph on the motorway and through dirt roads. AC was cool. every amenities was there: water tank, chopping boards, knives, and cutleries. the upper tent was also easy to set up. overall i've had a good experience with Jucy. with its price, it was a wonderful trip. can't wait to rent another campervan soon!

Honestly I loved every second of having my vehicle. I booked the crib as a solo traveller and it was perfect. Not a lot of storage but easily manageable. It was comfortable to sleep in and I felt very safe. All of the staff that helped me were super accommodating and patient. The airport shuttle was amazing and so easy. Generally this whole process was so easy. No stress before you take off on your adventure!! And an adventure it was. I had the best time in Australia with that vehicle. So easy to drive and park up for the night. It’s pretty self contained, you only need a toilet (and maybe a shower) nearby where you park. Otherwise it was all in the car. It’s not really fuel efficient but reasonable and it all depends on where you go. I went from Sydney to cairns and the awesome team behind Jucy made it possible for me to make last minute changes of where I would drop the vehicle off. The explanation was short but they mentioned everything you need to know. They also always make sure to answer all your questions. It’s really easy to manoeuvre and especially the crib is perfect, if you’re not too confident driving on the other side of the road. Because it is so compact you can find parking anywhere and even underground parking is no problem. This is a great opportunity to see a little bit of the country whilst going from one place to another and it’s amazing to have the freedom to just stop and do whatever. There were no hidden costs and I felt well looked after by the team. Even as a young woman they treated me with respect and kindness and I really appreciated that. So if you’re thinking of it: just book the trip!! It’s definitely worth it and you will have the best time. Thank you so much for everything!!

We made it from Brisbane to Sydney! Phew! After reading reviews I was skeptical but our Crib Plus did us very well- yes it was battered and a little rattly over 100kmph but in a way I liked that, I wasn’t too nervous to leave it in a carpark or anything lol. In the man’s words ‘we don’t care about any little scratches’- I could tootle round in peace (not that I added to any of the damage). That being said none of the scratches or dents were written in paperwork so I’m not exactly sure how they’d know apart from the video I filmed prior to driving off. Exactly what we wanted for the price. We were glad we went for the crib plus with overhead tent as otherwise I’m not sure what we would’ve done with our rucksacks or anything, definitely wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people in this thing. It was abit of a squeeze.

Tried JUCY because they were one of the few companies that allowed <20 drivers. I had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding service from Freddie during my recent visit. He was very friendly and greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that was very welcoming. As for the cars, we rented 2 hatchbacks and there were no problems at all during our 8 day trip, approximately 2000km. Although one of the cars was the sport version of the Hyundai Accent which ate up a lot of petrol. Overall a good experience and I hope they continue to keep this standard up :)

We had a great experience with Jucy! The shuttle from the airport was simple enough. We flew into the international terminal at Sydney, bought a SIM card, rang the number, and the shuttle picked us up 15 mins or so later. We had booked a Jucy Crib, but when we got to the depot we were given a free upgrade to a jucy cruiser which was a high top LDV maxus van. It was quite new, and only had 20,000 km on it. It was a brilliant vehicle for us camping. Few teething issues with the camping modifications, such as the crockery drawer didn’t have a latch on it, so would slide open, but a pillow in front of it solved that. And the table was awkward to set up/take down, but nothing serious enough to drop the 5 star review! Definitely would use Jucy again!

Nous avons eu un geste commercial de la part de jucy, un remboursement de 300 dollars pour les préjudices subit. Le personnel lors de la réception et du dépôt ont été professionnels. Je recommande ....mais s'il vous plaît changez de couleur les vans !!!

Seems like we may be in the minority but we had a really good experience with Jucy. We had it for 15 days and I think we got very lucky and got one of the slightly newer cribs from the lot. We did however spend a lot of time checking everything to make sure it worked before we left and had to swap a couple of things. There are definitely some older ones to avoid, I think the ones with the purple bumpers are the oldest. We asked to change to a newer one that was the same model and they were fine with it. Ours even had CarPlay and the auxiliary battery didn’t die once. It wasn’t perfect, the gearbox was a bit sketchy, the power steering was quite heavy, it drives like a garden shed and the doors weren’t the easiest to open but honestly, what do you expect for the price? It’s cheaper than literally any other camper van we found and we got a discount code from somewhere. Just check everything works and don’t expect a brand new car. We also did crash in the rain and the customer service was shocking. We didn’t hear back from jucy with any solid info for 4-5 days. Luckily it was still drivable so we finished our journey and left it to them to fix. We also had the insurance so didn’t pay a penny extra. Overall, we had a good time and would use again but would probably get a bigger van as the crib has no storage for your bags and was super hot up in Queensland at night.

You are one of the only company who do that and it is very good. The only bad point is the car. You can't rent a car with 310 000 km. There was no particular problem with this one but 300,000 kilometers is too much! During this booking, I always had doubts about whether I'm going to start again, if I accelerate too much, will she survive, ... Personnaly, when I rent a car, I don't want to have this kind of questioning. If you would have had newer vehicles, 5 stars would have been appropriate because that's the only weak point! We had a fantastic time with our Star Polaris 6 and very much enjoyed the adventure that we had with it! Small issues with the hire were: - The Battery didn't last longer than 1 shower when we stopped for the night. - The fridge didn't function properly on gas. It detected the gas but didn't stay cold and showed a red label with an error "52" on it. However when plugged in to 240v it functioned correctly. - The water hose to fill up the water tank worked fine but when arriving at our caravan park we realised it did not have any of the fittings required to hook it up with the park's tap. When we returned the Campervan we were informed that they do not provide these fittings. So if you plan to take one of these to a Caravan Park, bring your own fittings! The manager was kind enough to refund us for the fittings we had to purchase and for the uber rides to bunnings to buy said fittings. "You get what you pay for". Make sure you do your research before you book here, as the do rent older vehicles (that's why they're cheap). I arrived at the airport at around 10:30, called for a pick up and only had to wait 10 minutes. At the very basic (but functional) office, the staff were busy but friendly and by the time I filled out my paperwork, the van was ready. Make sure you check everything is working when you pick up the vehicle. The ventilation fan in the driving compartment was not working on the first vehicle I was presented. I told the staff who were very apologetic and replaced the vehicle. No major issues with the replacement, just some broken straps. I rented a Condo. It was an underpowered 2003 van, but everything important worked. The brakes were good, the engine started with no hesitation and the tyres appeared new. There were some scrapes and dents but it drove well. It wouldn't go fast up hills, but it made it everywhere I wanted to go (including through the Blue Mountains) without incident. The van appeared to have been well cleaned, but the mattress (and possibly the pillow) had engrained dust that gave me allergies. All in all, a good rental experience, good value for money, just remember they rent OLDER vehicles.

The lady behind the counter is brilliant! I was sad I dropped the van off late and didn't get to see her again!! The JUCY Coaster is amazing! Staff were really friendly, one lady in particular but it was a shame I forgot to get her name. The pricing is fair, especially as they are one of the only rentals that will give drivers on their p2 licenses a chance to rent. Comprehensive and reasonable insurance covers. We rented their Toyota estima van. The condition was alright for a rental. Some interior damage on the plastic areas and wheel alignment was slightly off but tolerable. The van went from Sydney to Brisbane and back with no problems whatsoever asides wheel alignment being slightly left biased.

After booking the Jucy Compass caravan I had a number of questions which resulted in a few emails to the Jucy Customer Service Department. They provided some of the best customer experience I have had in a while. They were very prompt with their responses. Once I was able to reach the jucy office, it took only 20 min for them to arrive and pick us up from the airport. Chris was an excellent driver and so polite. The lady who we received the van from was quick to get us on the road. The van had plenty of space. For the amount of driving we did, it was pretty good on diesel as well. The van also comes with magnetic privacy curtains that can be put up when needed. The toilet was very easy to empty which made the experience a lot nicer. One out of the two chairs we rented had a damaged arm so it was not as ideal as it could have been. The table that was rented had a part missing screws which made the table a little unsteady. The rented GPS had some issues with overheating and shutting down. I would recommend non glass dishes and some form of cover to put over the trunk door to protect from rain while cooking. The best gentleman did the walk through of the van when we returned it! He was so nice and really topped off the entire experience.

We rented a Jucy Crib for three weeks with the stress-free insurance (recommended). We picked up the car in Sydney and they were very nice and friendly. The car is fine, nothing too fancy but that is what you have to expect for the price. Halfway through our car broke down and Jucy’s customer service got right on to it and arranged that a new car came our way. The cars could use a refresh here and there but overall we were very statisfied. When i read the reviews on this website I was very scared but if you just insure yourself, there is nothing to be worried about.

There was also no complications when we decided to extend our car rental by 2 days after we left the lot. Car was in an excellent condition. However, there wasn't a receipt or a paper invoice when we returned the car. Having one would give me a peace of mind of all the costs we incurred while we used their rental services (eg. like the costs of the extended days)

Only car rental company that would allow us to drive in and out of the Northern Territories. When we were contacting jucy on the road, they were very helpful. The van comes with plug sockets, USB plugs, and a phone holder for GPS. The van for 4 people is a bit cramped, but it works, and we still fitted 2 minimal surfboards in it! Highly recommend
