Established in 2001. JUCY started in 2001 in Auckland, New Zealand with a fleet of just 35 rental cars. Today we've got more than 3,800 cars, campers and motorhomes across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. In New Zealand we also operate the JUCY Cruise boat in Milford Sound and JUCY Snooze accommodation in Auckland and Christchurch (with more on the way)! Despite this epic growth, we're still a family business, owned and operated by Tim and Dan Alpe. The brothers still take a hands-on approach every day as Chief JUCIFIER and Chief Operating Officer.

Amazing camper and service with Star RV! We booked through Ratpack who ensured we got the best campervan and value, specific to our needs, which was the Polaris 2. We loved the camper, it had everything - kitchen, bathroom, mechanical pull down bed, solar power, and more (everything was so new and modern). The service from Star RV from the get go was fantastic, providing a great tour of the van. We had an issue with the awning which they sorted immediately. Night and day vs other rental companies, cannot recommend enough! Book a star RV to make the most of your Australia road trip!
We were treated to hassle free booking and informative information by our lovely admin lady. Many people were interested in our van and came for a look. Great rates value for money
We had an excellent experience with STAR RV. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, with great service and support throughout. The unit was in perfect condition, and for our very first RV experience, it couldn’t have been better. We truly enjoyed it and highly recommend STAR RV to anyone considering this type of trip.
We rented a Cruiser and were given the LDV Deliver 9 van for our roadtrip to Sydney. The staff was friendly, the car was new (28k kilometers) and the van layout was great, and they provided us with everything we needed to cook. The only issue we faced was that we were not given one component of the table, so we could not build it the entire trip (please, check all the components by yourself before you take off). We were told to write for compensation, so I'm hoping we will receive it. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend Jucy.

We just completed a road trip starting from Port Douglas all the way down the coast in an economical JUCY car. It was an easy pick up and drop off process. Super efficient and reliable. We will use JUCY again!

It was indicated that the cars were at the airport but they are not! You have to call for a shuttle bus to come pick you up and then travel about 20mins to get your car from their office. And then the reverse when you drop it off. The car they tried to give us was terrible so we refused it and they gave us one in better condition. The guys who worked there were helpful. The company is not in Australia so there was a $15 Int Trans Fee! Also when you think you’re booking travel insurance with them at the same time at booking it isn’t with them. Found out to book direct with Jucy and not Booking.com for both would’ve been drastically cheaper!
Nous avons loué une voiture avec tente sur le toit. Elle était très bien équipée, le réservoir d'eau était rempli, nous avions deux bonbonnes de gaz, des couvertures... Nous avons fait face à un problème de batterie (alors qu'ils nous avaient dit qu'elle est équipée de deux batteries donc pas de soucis à se faire).
We picked up our jucy crib from Melbourne and drove it to Cairns. The vehicle was not in great condition in Melbourne, but not the fault of the Cairns branch. The lady who greeted us at the Cairns branch was very friendly and we had no problems giving the vehicle back. Also friendly shuttle driver to the airport. Car condition wasn’t great but it got us to Cairns, and the service we received was very good here!

We had a short expérience with jucy cairns because off the flooding but we recommend it with eyes closed. They are very professional and accommodating. Freundlicher Empfang bei JUCY in Cairns, unkomplizierte Rückgabe bei JUCY in Melbourne, 7000 km Reise mit dem Hyundai Accent ohne Probleme, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, Fähr-Überfahrten nach Tasmanien und Phillip-Island erlaubt.
I have used Jucy rentals several times over the years. Staff always very efficient & friendly.
We had a great time in our JUCY van!! It was fast, efficient and everything we needed!
Only issue is if someone is renting campervan they need to be taken through all aspects & understandably takes time so a separate check-in or extra customer service person would speed things up that aside the customer service is great the car was spotless & from now on Jucy will be 1st choice for car or camper van rental

Since we had a positive experience in New Zealand, we figured, let's stick with these guys. Aside from the not-so-great, slightly-out-of-the-way location, it was still worth the extra effort to find this place.
Car rentals at the airport were so overpriced. We actually made our way into the city and walked over. If you're staying in central Cairns, it's really not that far.
We decided to pay the extra $2-3 to get a Corolla (not available in New Zealand) instead of the Fiat Punto and it was totally worth the extra few bucks.
Again, a no hassle rental with full insurance, and it was still cheaper than the bigger name car rental companies.
I would totally use Jucy again in the future.

Picked up a Jucy Crib + in Cairns and returned it in Brisbane. Pick up was flawless. Good and complete information from a lovely young lady. The camper had seen better days, the doors didn’t close properly and the camping chairs collapsed after 3 days. But it was great fun! We got our money’s worth. Would recommend for 3 adults max. 4 people and luggage would be pushing it. Drop off in Brisbane was rather awkward. Nobody even looked at the car and the girl at reception only asked if the tank was full. I haven’t heard anything since. After reading some distressing reviews, we were quite apprehensive. In short, our Jucy took us from Cairns to Brisbane in 4 weeks and gave us little trouble. Great road trip!

Do not use this service. Is is abysmal. They provide minimal time for car park up. Our flight was delayed and there was no way to pick up the vehicle after 4 pm. They have now cancelled our booking and still refuse to give us a refund of almost $600. Will actually be reporting this incident to the ACC
