The campervan was easy to pick up and drop off. It was well stocked and met all our needs. We had a roof top tent that opened and took down very quickly and easily. It drove well and allowed us to visit and explore areas we may not of with just a rental car. We did not have any problems with the campervan so can't comment on what their assistance would have been if we had needed that.
Great value for money camper vans that were really fun to camp in. Completely met my needs for what I needed. Would recommend! I had the condo and me & my friend had our own double beds which was cute, like sleeping in bunk beds!

Wir sind ein älteres Paar aus Europa und haben von Zuhause das Fahrzeug in Brisbane gebucht, alles unkompliziert. Einzig das Einchecken wollte nicht recht gelingen. Daher sind wir direkt zu JUCY gegangen. Die junge Dame hat bei der Abholung alles schnell und unkompliziert erledigt. Sie ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat uns alles Wichtige gezeigt. Sehr angenehm!
Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, great communication, nice location. Everything was super easy and uncomplicated. (Have had other rental organizations and Jucy was by far the best)
It was wonderful. A slightly older car, but with everything you need for a ten-day trip as a single person. I was able to sleep very well in it, the fridge ran perfectly and the car was very reliable and easy to drive. Thank you dear Jucy team for this great experience,

Give yourself around 1 and hours to pick your vehicle up once you reach site this depends of course on the volume of people that are picking up vehicles there appears to be a great amount of paperwork that is done confidently, with patience the staff do their best in trying conditions. Best Hugh.

On May 14th I picked up a Jucy Campervan out Brisbane,I had booked a small camper but decided to go bigger when I got to Brisbane
It cost me $1750.00 AUD,
Thats only $132 a day. I am glad I did it was more comfortable,the girls in gave me a port ta potty but I never used it as there are plenty of areas you can go to the toilet when travelling in Australia. If you are going to see more parts of Australia that buses and trains don't go " BOOK A JUCY VEHICLE "
The Brisbane staff were fantastic the vehicle I was an older Toyota, was very nice to drive

it never used a drop of oil in the 4000 ks I did. I'm an old truckie, you must check the oil and water look at the tyres check the vehicle make sure you didn't hit anything each day at least I will always use Jucy in Australia
Jucy are always contacting you to make sure everything is going ok
Make sure you have the right Vehicle for your trip,no use getting small when you should have got bigger,say with toilet and shower. When you drive concentrate on driving because some of the road surface have big holes in the on the back roads due to lots of rain and weather

It's been a couple of years since I used this company but I do remember how astonished how good their service, fee structure and vehicles. Where other car rental places like to add a ton of little annoying charges, Jucy charged me what they said they would. I got a late model camper van that ran very well. Also, I was in and out of the place in less than 30 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending Jucy to anyone needing a camper of any size.

Freundliches Personal in Brisbane bei der Abholung des Fahrzeugs, gründlich übernehmen, ein GPS wurde bereit gestellt, nur das gewählte Auto war leider zu klein (Persönliches Schicksal), Rückgabe noch einfacher, einfach aufs Gelände Fahren und Schlüssel in den Safe werfen (vorher als einmal Dokumentieren)

OK - so I'm writing this review as a Canadian who rented in Australia. I picked up the car in Brisbane and took it through Gold Coast, Sydney, and dropped off in Melbourne. I'm writing this because I saw a lot of concerning reviews on here when I was looking to rent a car for my trip and a lot of them had me second-guessing the rental.
Thoughts:
- Customer service was fantastic. I landed at Brisbane airport and called the Brisbane branch using a payphone. They said the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes and it was. The driver was friendly and helped us with our bags. When we got to the branch, our car was ready to go and we were in and out in 15 minutes.
- We picked a Toyota Corolla sedan, which I would estimate was probably 5 years old - with 136,000KM on it. The car was clean, in relatively good condition and I didn't experience any mechanical problems with it during the trip (more below). It had Bluetooth and I was able to play music and directions from Google Maps through the sound system easily. I could also switch songs from the console (which you don't find on a lot of older cars, and are necessary for a road trip lol). The trunk fit our two 24' suitcases and two backpacks no problem (keep in mind it's the Sedan).
- Now, in reading the reviews - a lot of people complain about the condition and mileage of the cars. Respectfully - you get what you pay for. Did it have all the latest features and gadgets? No. Was it brand new off the lot? No. Was it possibly the blandest car I've ever driven? Oh yes! But - hey - that is why I paid half of what I would have at the larger companies.
- While we were driving somewhere between Coff's Harbour and Sydney - we heard a loud scraping sound from the front passenger side. We stopped the car and noticed that part of the plastic under-carriage was scraping the tire. It looked like a previously damaged part of the undercarriage was loose. I tucked it back under and drove for a little bit and it seemed fine. I called JUCY and told them about it and they asked me to bring it into the Sydney branch to have it looked it. When I got to Sydney, I took it into the branch. They were super friendly and the mechanics took a look at it right away. I think they put some screws into it and I didn't have any further issues on the trip. At no point did anyone accuse me of damaging the car (which I totally didn't), give me any issues about it or try to charge me for it.
- We returned the car at the Melbourne branch and - again - the customer service was great. We dropped off the car and were in a shuttle to the airport within 5 minutes (maybe not realistic all the time).
All in all - bang for buck - I would definitely recommend JUCY and would rent from them in the future. Again - keep in mind the cars that you get may be older models with high mileage on them - but - like anything else in life - you get what you pay for.
P.S. I rented through RentalCars.com and I took the insurance that they offer for Australia. When I got to JUCY they asked if I had taken the insurance and I confirmed and the lady was nice enough to actually explain it to me and what it covers. She didn't try to upsell me any of JUCY's insurance or otherwise try to trick me.

Failed to start at a gas station until the engine cooled, generally sorta dirty and worn. For a small van like the one we reserved, you would be much better off renting a small suv from sixt, new and clean. Then go to a local shop to buy few camping supplies and you are on your way for less that the cost of a jucy vehicle.
Update: Jucy conceded shortcomings and offered reasonable compensation. 3-star rating reflecting the service. Unforgettable experience! For all the wrong reasons, sadly.
