We came in with a problem with our van and had no solution. Luize was amazing at welcoming us in and understanding our situation and helping us with the showing of our new vehicle. Chanice was an absolute gem and layed us out with clear options to help get us back out on the road quickly and smoothly. She came in understood our problem and had us off and out in a new van within the hour. We felt so welcome and they went above and beyond to help us out. There both a credit to the company ( deserve a pay rise).

My partner and I before we got to Brisbane had the roughest travel days we possibly could have, we had no cell reception so we lost our initial booking with jucy, our flights were held on the tarmac for hours then when we were transferring planes where we should have had an 8 hour layover we had a 9 hour one causing us to miss our connecting flight, the airports did next to nothing to help us and what was supposed to be a 19 hour travel day turned in to a 36 hour one, to add to all of that the airline we took to Brisbane was awful in so many ways including forcing us to check our carry on and then once we landed taking 2 hours (I wish I was exaggerating) to unload our bags. (There is also so much more but I’m not going to bore you all with the details) With all of that my partner and I were defeated, and we went to jucy (2 days late for our reservation) hoping maybe they had yet to book the car we initially had. Sadly they did, but Charley listened to everything we had been through and she did everything in her power to get us a new camper van, not only did she succeed, she also got us an upgrade from what we had for the same price! I genuinely was on the verge of tears with the prior two days we had had. She helped us out immensely and on top of everything got us lawn chairs for our travels! She was incredibly helpful, kind and our blessing in disguise. Genuinely I will be recommending to anyone who wants to find a camper rental in Brisbane to go to jucy and I’ll insist they talk to Charley if she’s there.

Would definitely recommend Jucy Rentals. They really very relaxed and flexible as long as you communicate with them. My van door stopped opening half way along my trip, and when returning it they didnt question me about it at all. No hidden charges were put on, only the extra day charge for me returning it late which is completely with in their T's and Cs. Well priced and the vehicle worked well.

(Translated by Google) We are an older couple from Europe and booked the vehicle from home in Brisbane; everything was straightforward. The only thing that wasn't quite right was checking in. So we went straight to JUCY. The young lady handled everything quickly and easily upon pickup. She accommodated our requests and showed us everything we needed. Very pleasant! We've now been on the road with the car for 26 days. The odometer showed an incredible 450,000 kilometers, which we couldn't believe. But the odometer continued to count every kilometer driven, and so we saw that the number was obviously correct. We never noticed this at any point in the vehicle. It reliably took us everywhere. In addition to the camper van, we also had accommodation, so we weren't sleeping in the roof tent or the car all the time; the amenities would have been a bit limited, and the luggage space would have been too limited. This meant we could take what we needed with us for a few days at a time and leave the rest behind. An optimal solution. We stayed at various beautiful nature campsites, were able to reach all of our destinations easily, and had a truly excellent time driving the van. We slept wonderfully in the "Jucy"! 🤩👍 The only downside was that the refrigerator wasn't working perfectly. But some campsites have refrigerators that you can use, and that saved us. We can highly recommend the van to anyone who doesn't mind being uncomplicated. The handover was also absolutely hassle-free. Thank you very much! Daher sind wir direkt zu JUCY gegangen. Die junge Dame hat bei der Abholung alles schnell und unkompliziert erledigt. Sie ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat uns alles Wichtige gezeigt. Sehr angenehm! Inzwischen waren wir 26 Tage mit dem Auto unterwegs. Auf dem Tacho stand unfassbare 450.000 Kilometer angezeigt, das konnten wir eigentlich nicht für möglich halten. Aber der Tacho zählte jeden gefahrenen Kilometer weiter und so sahen wir, dass die Zahl offensichtlich wirklich stimmte. Das haben wir aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt an dem Fahrzeug gemerkt. Er hat uns zuverlässig überall hingebracht. Wir hatten zusätzlich zum Camper Van noch eine Unterkunft, so dass wir nicht dauernd im Dachzelt bzw. Auto geschlafen haben, dafür wäre die Ausstattung dann doch etwas gering bzw der Platz für das Gepäck zu begrenzt gewesen. So konnten wir jeweils für einige Tage das ins Auto mitnehmen, was wir brauchten und den Rest zurücklassen. Eine optimale Lösung. Wir waren auf verschiedenen schönen Natur-Campingplätzen, konnten alle Ziele gut erreichen und hatten wirklich eine hervorragende Zeit mit dem Auto und wir haben herrlich im "Jucy" geschlafen! 🤩👍 Einziger Minus Punkt, der Kühlschrank hat nicht so ganz hundertprozentig funktioniert. Aber manche Campingplätze haben einen Kühlschrank den man nutzen darf und so konnten wir uns retten. Wir können den Van, allen unkomplizierten Menschen, wirklich wärmstens empfehlen. Auch die Übergabe war absolut unkompliziert. Vielen Dank!

The campervan was easy to pick up and drop off. It was well stocked and met all our needs. We had a roof top tent that opened and took down very quickly and easily. It drove well and allowed us to visit and explore areas we may not of with just a rental car. We did not have any problems with the campervan so can't comment on what their assistance would have been if we had needed that.

From Auckland NZ On May 14th I picked up a Jucy Campervan out Brisbane,I had booked a small camper but decided to go bigger when I got to Brisbane It cost me $1750.00 AUD, Thats only $132 a day. I am glad I did it was more comfortable,the girls in gave me a port ta potty but I never used it as there are plenty of areas you can go to the toilet when travelling in Australia. If you are going to see more parts of Australia that buses and trains don't go " BOOK A JUCY VEHICLE " The Brisbane staff were fantastic the vehicle I was an older Toyota, was very nice to drive ( Asked as many questions as you can before your trip ) it never used a drop of oil in the 4000 ks I did. I'm an old truckie, you must check the oil and water look at the tyres check the vehicle make sure you didn't hit anything each day at least I will always use Jucy in Australia Jucy are always contacting you to make sure everything is going ok Make sure you have the right Vehicle for your trip,no use getting small when you should have got bigger,say with toilet and shower. When you drive concentrate on driving because some of the road surface have big holes in the on the back roads due to lots of rain and weather Regards Douglas Mellsop

It's been a couple of years since I used this company but I do remember how astonished how good their service, fee structure and vehicles. Where other car rental places like to add a ton of little annoying charges, Jucy charged me what they said they would. I got a late model camper van that ran very well. Also, I was in and out of the place in less than 30 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending Jucy to anyone needing a camper of any size.

I would like to acknowledge the excellent experience we had with our recent RV rental. We picked up our RV at Sydney airport and dropped it off at Brisbane airport. Brisbane manager, Joyce, was very helpful answering questions we had a few days prior to our return. Charley at the front desk was helpful with our quick and simple return. Our airport shuttle driver was very friendly as well. We were fortunate to have a Mercedes diesel chassis Polaris 6 that was very fuel efficient, especially if you utilize the coasting charge feature and screen that provides feedback regarding constant speed, acceleration, and coasting. Everything worked very well on board and our family of four were very comfortable for two weeks, without spending a single night in a paid campground. Our plan was to hook up every few nights, but paid campgrounds were either full or closed by the time we knew where we wanted to spend the night. We figured out how to manage without campgrounds as follows: 1. The roof top solar panel does a good job keeping up during the day when parked. The fridge requires battery charge even when operating on lpg gas. Running the engine a few minutes does a quick charge as well. 2. Our toilet had a portable cartridge that emptied well in any public toilet. Most beaches have toilets to dump the cartridge. Tip: Put toilet paper in a bag for garbage rather than in the toilet to simplify emptying. 3. Fresh water available at most public salt water boat launches (for rinsing boats) and at fuel stations. 4. Grey water is best dumped at a dump station, if you can find one on occasion. 5. We stayed at the Visitor Center in Hervey Bay, Ampol truck stop at Port of Brisbane, Train station parking lot near the Australia Zoo, some shopping mall and big box store parking lots all with no issues. Overall, I would recommend Jucy / Star RV Polaris 6 to explore the wonderful natural beauty this part of the world has to offer.

We had a jucy coaster rented for 4 weeks and we loved it. From the pickup till the dropoff everything was better then expected. The staff are really great. We had a clear explanation at the pickup. And the dropoff was very quick. We could even speak dutch to the staff, so it feld as if we were home already😅😂. Would definitely rent a motohome from jucy again next time.

Our Jucy experience was entirely faultless. We were initially attracted to this company because they welcome senior Australian clients and provide vehicles at reasonable cost. Everything is up-front; you know what you are getting. Check-in was a little clunky, but it was a busy time. Return was more casual. Great people to interact with, and the shuttle service from (and back to) the airport was first-rate. Kudos to driver Chris for being so friendly and knowledgeable, with very helpful road advice. The vehicle (a mid hatch) had seen some service but, hey, this was an economy transaction. It was in perfectly adequate condition and proved reliable and economical. It was my mistake to choose a vehicle without cruise control given the "open-road" Queensland rural highways, but that is a personal preference. We would most certainly consider Jucy for any future car hire needs.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Jucy Brisbane. The staff are really great, friendly hard working and helpful. They dealt with a Demanding and difficult customer politely and effectively. I hope Jucy values the employees especially the blonde lady manager. I enjoyed the car and it was more comfortable than I expected, it’s an older campercar which you would expect for the price but everything worked well and the bed was long enough for me at 172cm. Docked star because the initial car we were given was bad - the back window was weirdly dirty and smudged and it wasn't wipeable. 400K+ on the odometer too - wow! Surprised it was rented out. When I took it back, however, I received exceptional service. They replaced the car no questions asked. New car lasted us the week and everything went smoothly. Thanks Jucy Brisbane.

My first time car rental is super easy with JUCY Brisbane! Simply call up for shuttle upon arriving BNE. On your way back to return, there are several gas stations to fill up the car. As you see I returned after office hours, so simply parked and locked up the car. Drop the key in the security Dropbox. Call an Uber! Super easy! The price is within my budget too. I highly recommend it!

Exemplary customer service and genuine nice person :) We had a nightmare day where our transport to go collect our van broke down on the way, making us late but also when we got hold of this Jucy office - it turned out there had been a system issue and our booking didn’t exist- I started to go into total panic mode as this booking of a van was our accommodation for that night and the next 20!! Pedro was amazing though. So many offices and individuals are quick to palm off the error or make it not their issue (speaking from other travel experiences) and this was why I initially started to panic. But Pedro immediately took ownership and reassured us that he would stay late and do whatever it took to not leave us without a van that night. It was such a relief and calming. He recommended we got ourselves to the office via Uber because the shuttle transfer service had closed for the day and that Jucy would reimburse this, and that he’d figure out the rest whilst we were on our way. By the time we got there everything was sorted, he was lovely, and we got set up and on our way in even better than we imagined tbh! Very grateful, and wish more companies would operate this way and promote and reward employees like this!

The price and value were what drew us in initially but after our flight was delayed Pedro in the Brisbane office made us feel truly valued and special, made sure we knew what was needed from us and stayed late to make sure we could pick up or rental. We rented a crib from Brisbane to cairns and everything were pretty good, we take the free shuttle bus from airport to Judy in Brisbane, the staff were pretty friendly and all was quick and ready to go. The amenities in the van worked sound and good, the van was very cheap in fuel and very comfortable for us two. Definitely would recommend and would hire again in a next trip! Thank you

Ive been a lot of places and talked to a lot of cab drivers. Jucy was fine. I cant express how amazing the shuttle driver was from brisbane to the train. Man took us to a 10$ cheaper train. Had good charisma. Told me about the city. I didn’t have cash or id tip him nd i know yall dont wven tip here. Whoever the shuttle driver was at 2 pm on march 9 deserves a raise. I wouldnt review yall if he wasnt such an amazing fellow. Jucy rocks cuz of him. My van rental was good.
Rented a van over Christmas for ten…
Rented a van over Christmas for ten days from Brisbane to Cairns. Our van broke down at 6pm in the evening and was unrepairable. There was an out of hour service we were liaising with in the evening. We then managed to get through to the head office in New Zealand before the Brisbane office opened the following day. We had regular communication with the New Zealand office and by 5pm the next day a new van had been bought to us. The next van was fine and got to cairns with no issues. The drop off was fairly central and they arranged a taxi to go to the airport after we’d had a look around cairns. After reading bad reviews during the breakdown I was very worried we’d be stranded, but Jucy realistically did as much as they could have done in a short space of time. Breaking down could have ruined the trip, but we were really glad and grateful for the van to be replaced so quickly!

Staff were really friendly and help out. One staff member was really helpful and gave me a show through of the fab polaris 6 (jess). The rv was clean and had all the linen in it for 6 people. Was surprised about how may things worked of just driving, but you have to drive for at least 4-6 hours to keep everything charged, which was great as we were road tripping. Although the cars were on the high mileage side and slightly cosmetically damaged, they were perfect for driving round Australia. (early April 2023) Jucy Brisbane Team offered the most competitive package and were extremely customer oriented (particularly Tobi); mind you that their fleet seem to be slightly older than the cars from alternative companies. This might be obvious in rather small/minor details: the curtains might not completely shut (when sleeping in the van); The back-up battery is very useful, while providing re-load options of your various electronic-devices (e.g. mobile-phone, i-Pad, flash-lights, LED-kit, etc.) via cigarette- and/or (2) USB-A connector. specific comments: After covering 6’000 km (Brisbane – Cape Tribulation – Savanna Way – Tennant Creek – Darwin), everything is running smooth; only A/C drop-out near Tennant Creek (but “Jucy Road assistance” acted swiftly, while advising a very competent auto electrician out in the “Never Never Land”) Initially, we slightly “customized” the vehicle to suite our needs (at our expenses): - kicked out the 15L-fright (too small) and replaced it by a 37L-Esky (inkl. 2 Ice bricks) - purchased 1 Kettle, a 6m Power Cord extension (used in common areas of campgrounds), a LED-bar-camping light kit (runs on the Auto back-up battery) … and off we went! The roof top tent (“Tough Gear Trading”) is absolutely brilliant and can easily accommodate people with a hight of 1.9m – set up in 30 seconds and pulled-together in 120 secs; since we only have one (1) duvet, the bedding stays in the roof-top-tent during the day/drive! The mattress is rather thin = hard (which suites us perfectly) but you can soften it while putting your personal self-inflating mat underneath! Only on two (2) occasion did we sleep in the Crip, while heavy wind/gust and rain were prevailing – besides we always sleeped in the roof-top-tent! even better if: - Jucy would expand their reach (representation) to Northern Territory (Darwin) and WA (Perth) - Car-light would be stronger – now, it is rather dim/gloomy (but we never drive after dark) - if the design would allow the mounting of a bigger, more powerful fridge! - an awning mounted to the vehicle would really be a benefit (differentiator!) - get rid of the “old” logo (Lady) on the car’s – this is way out of our times …. We plan to publish an additional assessment report (#2) in approx. 3 months’ time (by mid-October 2023), taking into account new/latest experiences.

Not sure why some people are leaving negative feedbacks. The office person was nice. Quick hiring process. I checked in online so all I had to do was to sign the paperwork and receive the key. The car wasn’t brand new but it was clean and no troubles at all. Full coverage was really reasonably priced. If you have an international phone, you may have trouble calling for a shuttle. I had to call a Uber. Even then, it’s located close to the airport. Great experiences overall.

Car was clean, full tank of fuel, had usb charger and gps which connected to your phone so could play music on there as well. Plus the deposit came back within a few days. Very nice staff when pick it up in Brisbane and drop it off in Cairns. It was a little mistake when reserving and they fix it without discussions and leave the same price (the drop off point was wrong). I can't review this if I have paid for a BMW or a stay at the Mandarin Hotel. This is a budget campervan and I think they do a good job keeping up the vehicles. During the trip some small issues came up but we took it as part of the experience. Maybe the stove was not working well, or one of the blinders buttons came out or the table was not as stable as we wish. But the small issues should not back you off to enjoy the opportunity to experience this at very good price. I will use them again and recomend it to a friend. Maybe I didn't like the color they are painted, but I think they are leaving the new ones withe, with small sign.

We collected a good clean reliable Toyota camry the next day. They even threw in a free USB charger and aux cable for our journey. We were so happy with our Jucy Crib! Everything worked perfectly, we had not one problem during our journey from Brisbane to Cairns. The bed is very comfortable for 2 people and it comes with everything you need- camping cooker, fridge-box, cuttlery, plates, pan, blanket, fluffy towels,... The staff is also very friendly and uncomplicated. We were a little heartbroken when we had to drop off our car which had become our home for the month. I'd definitely do it again!

OK - so I'm writing this review as a Canadian who rented in Australia. I picked up the car in Brisbane and took it through Gold Coast, Sydney, and dropped off in Melbourne. I'm writing this because I saw a lot of concerning reviews on here when I was looking to rent a car for my trip and a lot of them had me second-guessing the rental. Thoughts: - Customer service was fantastic. I landed at Brisbane airport and called the Brisbane branch using a payphone. They said the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes and it was. The driver was friendly and helped us with our bags. When we got to the branch, our car was ready to go and we were in and out in 15 minutes. - We picked a Toyota Corolla sedan, which I would estimate was probably 5 years old - with 136,000KM on it. The car was clean, in relatively good condition and I didn’t experience any mechanical problems with it during the trip (more below). It had Bluetooth and I was able to play music and directions from Google Maps through the sound system easily. I could also switch songs from the console (which you don't find on a lot of older cars, and are necessary for a road trip lol). The trunk fit our two 24’ suitcases and two backpacks no problem (keep in mind it’s the Sedan). - Now, in reading the reviews - a lot of people complain about the condition and mileage of the cars. Respectfully - you get what you pay for. Did it have all the latest features and gadgets? No. Was it brand new off the lot? No. Was it possibly the blandest car I’ve ever driven? Oh yes! But - hey - that is why I paid half of what I would have at the larger companies. - While we were driving somewhere between Coff's Harbour and Sydney - we heard a loud scraping sound from the front passenger side. We stopped the car and noticed that part of the plastic under-carriage was scraping the tire. It looked like a previously damaged part of the undercarriage was loose. I tucked it back under and drove for a little bit and it seemed fine. I called JUCY and told them about it and they asked me to bring it into the Sydney branch to have it looked it. When I got to Sydney, I took it into the branch. They were super friendly and the mechanics took a look at it right away. I think they put some screws into it and I didn't have any further issues on the trip. At no point did anyone accuse me of damaging the car (which I totally didn't), give me any issues about it or try to charge me for it. - We returned the car at the Melbourne branch and - again - the customer service was great. We dropped off the car and were in a shuttle to the airport within 5 minutes (maybe not realistic all the time). All in all - bang for buck - I would definitely recommend JUCY and would rent from them in the future. Again - keep in mind the cars that you get may be older models with high mileage on them - but - like anything else in life - you get what you pay for. P.S. Fantastic service. We arrived and our van was ready and waiting. The member of staff that served us was enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The van itself is decent, we went for the El cheapo which has served us well so far, the only complaint being that amount of stains on the upholstery and the kitchen area being in need of a good clean before we could use it. We had an issue with the vans battery, it ran flat a few times and needed to be replaced. Contacting the helpline did take quite a while, thankfully the RACQ response time was very quick.

Simple, straight forward car rentals. The people who I spoke to were kind, helpful, and, in contrast to other rental companies that I've dealt with, refreshingly human. They offer a variety of models for renting--everything from gas efficient compacts, to camper vans. The hidden fees are still there, but minimal, and disclosed when you rent (just not online when you book). They charge something around $1.50 a day for the mandatory rental of a toll pass linked to a credit card, and the "no-excess" insurance has a fee of $75 if you have to use it (still seems fair--don't crash their car!). Juicy was just what I wanted in a car rental. I recommend them highly.

We just got back from a fantastic 5 day trip to Carnarvon Gorge from Brisbane in a Jucy Crib. We were very happy with our experience. There were friendly staff at Eagle Farm, all costs were clear up front, unlimited mileage, the car was in great shape and the Crib was fun to drive. Our 9 year old son loved the DVD to watch on long trip. I'd definitely suggest paying the $150 to lower excess to $0 - gives peace of mind. I'd also bring a small tent next time or tarp just to throw the bags in overnight so don't have to shuffle stuff around as that was a bit fiddly. We will use Jucy again and recommend it :) Thanks Jucy!

[Disclaimer: Have used jucy several times in the past and generally OKish - get what you pay for] Different story this time around. Luckily, we had sleeping bags and didn't have to use the stinky duvets...gross! Beware. At that price you better look elsewhere. For a small van like the one we reserved, you would be much better off renting a small suv from sixt, new and clean. Then go to a local shop to buy few camping supplies and you are on your way for less that the cost of a jucy vehicle.
