JUCY NZ was absolutely amazing! I rented a Suzuki Swift for 10 days and did a road trip from Queenstown to Christchurch, and the whole experience was fantastic. From start to finish, the process was incredibly easy. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided outstanding service. The car was spotless when I picked it up, came with a full tank of fuel, and was surprisingly comfortable and very fuel-efficient — perfect for exploring the South Island. Everything was straightforward and hassle-free, which made the road trip even more enjoyable. I’d definitely use JUCY again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a car in New Zealand!

Fabulous customer service and a good vehicle that gave us great adventures. Our van was spacious but could have been better built. Lots of wasted space, or just difficult to access the underbed storage. Also no hooks to hang out coats or towels. And the bed was pretty hard even for a van. The kitchen was fully equipped, better if it was a hatch van though as we had no rain shelter and the wind occasionally blew the doors around. Safe cooking surfaces and extendable tap hose were very useful. Drove well and great reversing camera!

The man at front of desk was amazing! His humour and his introduction to a training new staff member made the experience for all easy going (I was nervous travelling on my own). The Van was amazing and you had all that was needed. I thought the fridge was a bonus touch and charging port because of the extra battery especially at a sports tournament. Able to charge phone during the day and collect cold drink and food also. Overall amazing and would definitely hire again! I'm fact a young Mcds worker asked us about it and told him he should take the leap and travel this way. This coming from a 5 star hotel booker. Really humbling experience reminded me of days with my grandparents the way NZ use to be.

My experience with JUCY
The car was super well designed and very practical. You could fold the bed away and set up a table instead. There was plenty of storage space underneath the bed. There were curtains to give you privacy in the evening, so nobody could see inside even when you had the lights on. Everything I needed was included: a blanket, pillow, sheets and towel. The cooking equipment was also provided, including cleaning supplies. The cooler was powered by a separate battery, so it could keep everything cold throughout the entire road trip. It was honestly great! The service was also excellent. The girls were very friendly and helpful, and I even got a free camping chair. The car itself was a little older and had some minor damage on the outside, but it was well maintained and drove really well. I was genuinely sad to have to return it.My next rental car from another company looked similar, but it wasn’t even half as good. The daily price was higher and absolutely nothing was included — not even a blanket or pillow! And the “fridge” was just a basic cooler that you had to fill with ice yourself.So I’m really happy I got to experience JUCY. Next time, I’ll definitely rent from them for the entire holiday!

We rented the Berta 6 for our family, and what an experience! It had a toilet and shower, three double beds that comfortably slept two adults and four children, and plenty of storage. It handled well, and the airport shuttle service was super convenient. We’d definitely recommend it!

We rented a campervan to drive from Sydney to Perth - we chose Jucy because it allows dogs on board. The van was well equipped with everything we needed and reliable. We had an incident during wild, windy weather when a side window blew out - the Jucy admin staff handled the issue efficiently and the Adelaide staff fixed the problem promptly and we were back on the road with minimal delay. Great service!

Simple, easy service. I did the online check in which made the whole process smooth. I was given the brief on the vehicle, handed the keys and I was on my way! I opted for no excess, paid the extra for peace of mind and it was still cheaper than any competitor. It’s a no frills service, but honestly, if you’re just hitting the road for a few days, it’s more than enough.

We had a very good experience with the Jucy condo. There were some small issues including one of the stove gas burners not staying on and a cracked shelf inside the fridge door. Overall we found the van comfy and staff helpful. One thing that would be appreciated would be longer hours for van return - we got back by 3pm but would have appreciated an extra hour

The idea of showing respect, greeting, and sharing information each other when July users meet on the road or in the campsites is very impressive. I have also had a few chances to do so it was wonderful. Mostly I had very wonderful experience with JUCY van. However, for the next users, I want to list 3 things to be fixed or changed on the Van that I have used this time. The first thing is, I think it is serious, roof leacking on a rainy day. Rain drops into the roof top bed. So the bad got wet when it was rainy. Somewhere in the middle of the roof on the passenger seat side. Regarding this matter, I have a video clip and a photo if you want I can send you them. Secondly, the door of the refrigerator does not lock properly, it sometimes opened when I steped on the break paddle. Lastly, the plastic bucket was broken so it should be changed as a new one. I understand these could be happened at anytime but the reason I would like to list these here is that I could be the next user as well and I would soon.

Our little RV was really well-built — better than larger vehicles we’d had before. Its size and features are just perfect for two people. It’s not big, but it has everything you need, and it’s really cute with its high roof and green paint job! It fits into any parking spot. We had a great time with it! The staff is very friendly. The value for the money is excellent!

I was slightly sceptical before picking up my vehicle based on previous reviews. However my experience was all positive with Jucy. Upon arrival and dropping off the vehicle both staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. The car ran with no issues, and the interior including bedding and towels were clean and well kept. Our fridge however didn’t work, although it turned on it didn’t get cold. This was fine for us and we shopped as we needed, but something to double check before you set off! Highly recommend, our Jucy van was an epic way to see WA

Jucy was a short Uber trip from Perth domestic airport. Cobie made pick-up easy. He showed us around the van. The van was a pleasure to drive. So easy. It also gave us flexibility to be spontaneous on our trip. The cost of the van resulted in good savings for the entire trip. A small fridge on board meant we could self cater. Find a park with a view, make our own lunch, and enjoy the view. It allowed for cheap overnight stops at caravan parks. Bedding was supplied with the van. Doona was warm enough for the cold nights. Drop off was easy too. The campervan made for a great experience. A great holiday overall. Thanks Jucy.

I was a little hesitant about renting a Jucy van, but was pleasantly surprised. I rented a Jucy Condo from Auckland airport. This was just the right size for me travelling by myself. The whole process from pickup at the airport, handover of the vehicle, return of the vehicle and drop off to the airport was fast, easy, uncomplicated and straight forward. Staff were extemely helpful and friendly. I hired a van during low season and this was really good value for money.

We had a few unexpected adventures along the way, but the campervan made it possible to enjoy comfortable nights sleeping in the car throughout the trip. The booking process, the staff, pick up and drop off were all easy and great. The campervan was great to drive, so easy, even reverse parallel parking was a breeze. The layout inside the van is not ideal and bed/cushions very uncomfortable. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

We booked a Coaster for 6 days. We’d never hired a campervan before, but we can definitely say the whole experience was amazing. The van was really clean and had everything we needed inside. We usually camp with a tent, so it was especially nice not having to worry about the wind. It made the whole trip so much easier and more comfortable. Also, George was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was always more than happy to help us whenever we needed anything. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

We hired the Malibu for our 10 day trip up North and it was fabby! We had plenty of room to keep the bed up whilst we were travelling, so no major set-ups every day which was ideal for us, and was still able to move around! The kitchen out the back was also ideal! The members of staff were super friendly, especially Kobe, making sure we had everything we needed and knew everything about the van! Will definitely return and recommend!!

My number one priority when renting a vehicle is cleanliness and reliability. Unfortunately, JUCY delivered on only one of those fronts. The van itself ran perfectly: smooth, well-maintained, and zero issues on the road. No complaints there whatsoever. However, the hygiene standard was simply unacceptable. Every single item provided (towels, blankets, bed sheets, and the convertible couch) was stained (blood and dirt), torn, or both. We were advised not to open the battery compartment, but it was visible from the side, and there was a dead animal inside, surrounded by filth. Since we slept directly above that compartment, it made for a deeply uncomfortable experience. If you’re considering renting with JUCY, bring your own bedding and towels. The van will get you where you need to go, just don’t expect it to be clean when you arrive. We made a lot of really good memories, and if you need support you can always talk to a human and get really fast and good answers. Also really friendly (that’s why I gave 4 stars in the end and not 3).

Honestly reading some of the reviews we were a bit confused and apprehensive, but we had a totally great experience! The best rental experience we’ve had in our 6 months in Australia. We rented a Malibu for 12 days and it was the smoothest van we’ve had in a while. We drove from Perth to Esperance and did the whole loop without any problems. The van drives extremely smooth, everything is well maintained, we had all the cutlery/ plates/cooking equipment needed, the sheets were spotless, fresh towels were supplied, the diesel is super efficient and keeps you on the road for long distances without constant refill and the driving habitacle is super comfy for long drives. The navigation system is a bit outdated but we used it for all of our travels without problems, you just need to connect your phone with bluetooth before driving and setting up the navigation system app on your phone (literally 5min). Saw lots of negative comments about that aspect and we had no problems at all dealing with the gps. Also the customer service we received at that Jucy location was really good, the blonde woman that greeted us at the office was super friendly and helpful. Our van was all ready when we arrived at the set time and she even offered to extend our return time for a couple hours more if we wanted to. The only thing we could mention (and it’s really just an addition/suggestion) is that an interior lighting system on the secondary battery would be a GREAT add-on for late nights inside the van. Other than that, nothing else but good comments!

Coaster campervan: Good value overall! Would hire them again! The pros: affordable, supplied a lot of basics, free foods and accessories area where we managed to pick up a fan for free. Cons: pretty sure the coaster model online says there’s air air-conditioning in back, but I found out too late when there is nothing else as an option that there was no air conditioning in the sleeping area. had to buy a foam mattress cover for my girlfriend because she found bed too hard. Before sleep, sliding door had to be closed from outside otherwise light would stay on in cabin all night. Couldn’t figure out the fridge temperature control, just tried to hack it and as a result not sure if food actually stayed good the whole time. Could have phoned the roadside number I suppose but we thought we had figured it out. Potable Tank was leaking a little water on the floor throughout journey. Cleaning smell the first night was unbearable, double bagged the toilet and it seemed to help, other cleaning smells wore off by second night. The following was not indicated on the website: Did supply: cooking pot, sponge for dishwashing, 1 roll toilet paper. Did not supply: dish detergent, fan / air conditioning in sleeping area.

We hired a coaster van recently for a 10 day trip around south west WA. The van itself was amazing. 1 year old with only 45,000km on it so everything ran perfectly mechanically with no worries there. Newer features like cruise control, reverse cameras, parking sensors etc made driving it a breeze as well. The counter staff was friendly and super helpful at drop off and pick up and even helped us save $98 on our rottnest island ferry tickets! The only complaint I have is we had booked for a 10am pick up but on arrival we were told our van wouldn't be ready until 11am. We were offered a hire car instead to run to the shops and do our food shopping etc while we waited so in the end no real time lost and we were also given camp chairs and table for free to say sorry. Overall a very enjoyable trip that jucy contributed to. Thank you.

Overall a very good experience, the car drove very nice and everything was easy to handle and to find. In Perth they don't offer a shuttle bus anymore, but they paid for the taxi . One advise from me is to ask where the tools are if you need to change a tire. It took me a while to find them.

One recommendation: the coaster could use some solar because we didn’t drive everyday and then it’s best for the battery and the fridge if there would be an extra option to fill the battery

Staff was friendly and introduction to the campervan was detailed. GPS was excellent, works without WiFi. Layout was well thought of and had everything we needed, down to usb outlets and ceiling lights. Really liked the colors of the van outside and we found our Happy! Would highly recommend Jucy and will book again without any hesitation

overall very good experience, they offer good value compare to major RV rental companies, relatively newer vehicles too. staff at Perth branch are great addition. a closer attention needed for maintenance of their vehicles interior, we hired two Polaris 6 for 7 days, one got leaking toilet cassette n the other one got fridge keep beeping time after time, even we tried to reset it. mechanically the vehicles are well maintened it was a joy to drive.

Sometimes, it's tough to go with the place with a bunch of negative reviews. In this case, we're glad we did! We had a memorable road trip with no issues at all.
