JUCY started in 2001 in Auckland, New Zealand with a fleet of just 35 rental cars. Today we've got more than 3,800 cars, campers and motorhomes across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. In New Zealand we also operate the JUCY Cruise boat in Milford Sound and JUCY Snooze accommodation in Auckland and Christchurch (with more on the way)! Despite this epic growth, we're still a family business, owned and operated by Tim and Dan Alpe. The brothers still take a hands-on approach every day as Chief JUCIFIER and Chief Operating Officer.

The staff at Jucy were so wonderful and helpful! Such an easy vehicle to drive and really made our road trip around NT so much fun! The van was comfortable and well priced. We didn’t experience any problems. The reversing camera made it so easy to park and the van had everything you need to be self sufficient. We had a Jucy for 6 days and throughly enjoyed it. So easy to drive. Do yourself a favour and get out on the road in a Jucy to explore - we will be again!!

I hired a campervan for a week. Check in was online prior to pick up so picking up the van was quick. The van was in a great condition. Price was good. Recommend option B with all inclusive insurance. QR code and information sheets in the van for set up or videos online. Everything was super easy. I will definitely hire through JUCY again.

We recently rented a JUCY Coaster for a week. While JUCY’s website promotes shiny, new vehicles, on both occasions we rented we were given much older models instead. We also had issues with some of the equipment. I understand these vans get rented a lot, but they really should be checked more thoroughly before being handed out again. Honestly, it was also partly our fault, because we were in a hurry and didn’t properly check the vehicle when picking it up. On the positive side, JUCY’s support team and the staff on site are great. They helped us resolve the problems, apologized, and even tried to compensate for the inconvenience, which I genuinely appreciated. That’s why I’m leaving 4 stars in the end. Honestly, my experience felt somewhere between 3 and 4, but good customer support is important. Overall, I think JUCY can still be a good choice for the price, but I strongly recommend carefully inspecting the vehicle and testing everything when you pick it up. And if something doesn’t work, report it right away.

It looks like we're the only ones who had an awesome experience with Jucy!

At first, I was admittedly turned off by the company name. Jucy? Really?

Along a nearby stretch of road, we popped into a few different rental companies to get an idea for prices and such. No quote came close to Jucy's since we wanted to drop off the car in Queenstown. We wanted full insurance too.

Our economy car was a Fiat Punto. You won't be winning any drag races with this thing but considering the distance we drove and fuel economy, we were pretty satisfied.

Sometimes, it's tough to go with the place with a bunch of negative reviews. In this case, we're glad we did!

We had a memorable road trip with no issues at all.
