Hays and Sons did the repairs and renovation of my bathroom after I experienced water damage. They were prompt, prepared, and professional from start to finish. They are to be commended for their outstanding staff, in particular the work crew including Austin, Jared, Justin, Shawn, and Brent. They showed up on time, worked hard, did excellent work, and left everything in pristine condition. Also, Lindsey in the front office answered my questions, kept the job moving forward, and made communication smooth and easy.

We had to use their emergency services to have our roof repaired after a tree fell on our house during a large gust of wind and put a hole in our ceiling. We needed an urgent temporary fix before a big storm to prevent water damage. We talked to Lindsay over the phone who was caring and helpful. Jeremy and Austin came within an hour after we finished filing our insurance claim and they got the branches out of the roof and boarded and tarped the holes in our roof which held up through more terrible storms that night. They were professional and efficient. Lindsay even called the next morning to make sure we were okay after the storm. We would definitely recommend.

We had a slight mold problem resulting from a ridge vent not being reinstalled when we got a new roof. The estimate and estimator was prompt and very professional, he outlined exactly what he thought we should do and also explained contingencies if it might need more work than estimated. The crew that did the work were very polite and nice, and again very professional. Project was done about two weeks later. We did have a couple of things that needed touching up, they came back out within a day to look, the next day they were here and took care of it to 100% satisfaction. It still looks great, very good experience, would easily recommend to neighbors and friends.

Hays + Sons has been with us every step of our restoration process, from the demo and drying out process that happened to now restoring the house back to its original look before the flood. They are professional and truly do care about us as a family and getting things back normal. Review update 07/02/2024: I’m a bit frustrated with the 2nd half of the restoration process of our house. The crew did a great job drying out the house after the flooding and removing the damage. Not the same can be said for the crew putting the house back together. There is a lack of communication and all work had stopped for more than 2 weeks leaving us with only half a floor and a tripping hazard for our special needs child. The upstairs bathroom still needs the toilet installed but they have stopped all work in that as well. Today is the first day that the crew has been back in the house since mid June. I understand that waiting on materials and such takes time but at least get the upstairs bathroom complete so my family has a functional bathroom. That’s why I’m downgrading my review in points. To a 3 instead of 5. 10/30/2024 update: Since some of the issues that have occurred with our project. Hays and Sons have gone out of their way especially contractor Matt Stout. They have made everything right and then some. The project has had its hiccups but communication and the willingness to make things right is above and beyond. Because of this I am ranking Hays and Sons a 5 out of 5. Matt thank you for helping us get things sorted out and your willingness to make things right.

We recently experienced a flood in our lower level. Hays and Sons restoration was fast to respond and help mitigate the flood water. The team onsite kept my staff informed daily as the project progressed. The team ensured that all of the surfaces affected by the flooding were dry and safe from mold or mildew. While, no one wants to experience the results of a flood, Hays and Sons made the transition from mitigation to restoration easy.

I was so impressed with how quickly Hays + Sons showed up when we had a water leak from our bathtub and needed to dry out some drywall. Within 30 minutes of talking with them on the phone, they were at my house in person, setting up fans to get everything dried before additional problems occurred. Considering I had called a couple of other places as well and didn't even hear back from those companies, I was all the more impressed with Hays + Sons quick response and good service. This is what customer service is about and we do not have that in America anymore this group of people care about there customers the company they work for and each other they all work very well today never missed a beat. I could not be more happy with this group of people and if I had the money I would have gave them all a big tip. Its people like this, the customer service they provide that make a company succeed. Another thing I would like to mention is no matter what the job was or how messy dusty or dirty, when they left for the day you would never known they were working my house was always clean and THAT has never happened with any other company, this group always straightened, picked up, cleaned, I was very impressed.

They did our roof, then they did a troughing above the house where we had some draining and leakage issues. They were fast, effective, and we have had no issues since then. They are excellent at communicating and they completed the job correctly and right away.
Bone Dry Roofing did a great patch job for us. They are honest, and do not try to sell things you do not need.

I had almost given up on the idea of finding a designer to assist with my bathroom remodel, and then I found the Kohler online design service. This service provided everything I wanted and needed for my bathroom remodel. The process was easy, and the designer was exceptional.

From the late December windstorm, I had a large limb damage a portion of my roof. I contacted Scott Rector @ Hays & Sons and an estimator was assessing the damage the next morning. Within a few days, the roof was replaced. The roofer noticed a couple of other issues and took the time to make those needed repairs also. As owner of McQuiston Insurance, I will no problem in recommending Hays and Sons for restoration repair!

We first used Hays & Son (Brian Bell) when we had roof damage and water damage at our church. They were quick and courteous and did everything they said they would at the quoted price. Our project manager was Tom Terrell. I also used them while I was Maintenance Director at Golden Living. They sent Jarron Kaelin out and he took care of some tree removal and landscaping for us. They were timely (there when they said they would be) and did an excellent job of cleaning up after the tree removal.

Had extensive water damage to multiple rooms. Called Hays and Sons at the end of the business day and within an hour they had a mitigation specialist at the house. First thing the following morning a crew was here removing damaged materials and drying out the rooms as well as the space between the 1st and 2nd floor. Even before everything had time to dry, Joe, who managed the repair process, was already in contact with me making plans to get our house back in order and repaired as soon as possible. Joe was always available by phone and email and was able to respond typically within an hour of my contacting him. Joe and the repair crew were as accommodating as possible as while trying to work around us while we were still living in the house. The repair team was very polite and professional and Joe provided plenty of samples of materials for us to choose from and walked us through what was available to us as we were making decisions on comparable materials to replace the damaged ones. Everyone I dealt with from the company via email, telephone, or in person was very courteous and willing to answer any questions we had. They even dealt with our insurance company directly which was a HUGE stress relief. I am very pleased with the job they did on our house and would definitely recommend Hays & Sons to anyone who finds themselves in a situation that requires home restoration.
