Overall a good experience, EXCEPT for parking! My doctor is great! Staff is professional. BUT parking is a nightmare, you have to go several levels underground, because the first level or so belongs to "reserved" .

Daniella, the MA/PA was extremely professional, efficient, and made me feel comfortable during my visit. And Dr. Garafolo was very knowledgeable informative, patient, and had a really good bedside manner. He never rushed and answered all my questions which made me feel like he cared.

Rarely leave reviews but had such a great experience at Schweiger Dermatology, thought I would. I went in to get a dot on my face lasered off and some prescription retinol and was seen by Ashley Mazzola-Ciriallo (PA). Barely any wait time, maybe like 5 or 6 minutes and office was beautiful and clean. Ashley removed the dot and also recommended finacea, rather than retinol due to mild rosacea (which I never knew I had). Ashley listened to all my concerns, is super knowledgeable and professional. She took time to educate me on my skin type and what may work best for me and even walked me through a whole skincare regimen. I would 100% recommend this office (and specifically Ashley) for anyone looking for a good dermatologist!

I was fortunate to be treated for a melanoma on my face by Dr. Samara Churgin. WONDERFUL results . Immediately after the surgery, I looked like I had gone 20 rounds with a gorilla. Within a week my face looked normal and within a month I had no scarring at all. This despite having stitches from my eye to the nose and up into the forehead. Excellent surgeon and a nice person. She actually cared. I am now healing from a melanoma on my skull which she treated. I would not go to anyone else. I feel blessed to be her patient.

Natalie has great bedside manner, and is great at what she does. After my acne treatment, I decided I wanted to get Juvaderm injections in my lips, and specifically mentioned that I wanted them to be natural. I had a great experience at this office. I had a 10:40 am appointment today and called to say I’d be arriving 10 minutes late. When I arrived I was welcomed without any hint of frustration from staff members or my treating NP for being late, which really put me at ease and a great aspect of the team that displays their quality of care. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and I was escorted into the clinical room within 5 mins of my arrival by a very nice assistant who reviewed my medical history with me and asked some questions about what my wants/needs were. I had lip fillers and Botox done by Natalie Sharp, a nurse practitioner within the group, who also asked about my medical history, needs, and wants. Natalie listened to what my preferences were and was kind, knowledgeable, and quick! The injections were administered comfortably and I didn’t experience any bruising afterward. We talked a bit about our weekend and discussed other potential services I may be interested in. There was absolutely no forceful persuasion into other services, and I can’t stress enough how important that is to me! I am definitely continuing care here and I am considering other cosmetic services. The fee was extremely reasonable and I am looking forward to my follow up in two weeks.

First time visiting this office located in Great Neck. There are many different providers specializing in various dermatological disorders. The provider who assessed me is Natalie Sharpe, FNP. I arrived extremely early for my appointment, but the average wait time for my 0940 appointment was between 10-15 minutes before going into a room. Another 5-10 minutes before provider came in the room. Forms and documentation are completed electronically on a tablet. Office is spacious and clean, has a fridge for bottled beverages i assume but it was empty, and a keurig machine. Receptionist is extremely friendly, thorough, and helpful. Medical assistant performed a basic assessment, took pictures, and reported back to practitioner. My time with the practitioner was short, but thorough. Recommendations were discussed regarding my disorder where side effects were explained. Absolutely no pressure was placed on me as the patient, and the provider was patient in asking me if I had any further questions and concerns. For my visit, it was anywhere from 5-10 minutes, which was appropriate.

I have had skin issues for more than a decade. I can’t tell you how many different doctors I have gone to, including several dermatologist. Most of them kept giving me creams to deal with the topical issues I had, which they said was eczema. I had given up until I was referred to Dr.Vinelli. By just asking me one question, about my joints, Dr.Vinelli changed my life. So apparently I have psoriasis and more to the point psoriatic arthritis. He directed me to a rheumatologist and even she was impressed that he caught that. It’s been only been a couple of months but I am FINALLY getting back to my normal self after a decade.

Dr. Garafalo is the kindest, most caring doctor I have encountered. If there is a wait, it is because he is taking the time to carefully examine you. His medical assistants are top notch as well. He is an, "old fashioned" doctor who treats you like an individual and not just a number on an appointment sheet.
