We truly love this office. From the moment you walk in, you feel how much the staff genuinely cares. Every visit has been such a positive experience, and all three dentists are not only incredibly skilled, but also kind, patient, and my kids love seeing them. As a parent of four, finding such an incredible dentist means everything. Our kids actually look forward to their cleanings every six months, which says a lot about the environment they’ve created. Update: My daughter recently had to have a couple baby teeth extracted to make room for her permanent teeth, and I was honestly a little nervous about how she’d handle it. Dr. Sayer was just beyond incredible —so gentle, calm, and reassuring. The whole experience went better than I could have hoped for. She walked out smiling, proudly holding her pink fairy treasure chest, with no tears at all. I can’t recommend them enough to any family in the Bozeman area. All children’s dental offices should strive to be more like GVPD!

I am a pediatric dental assistant myself, but on Friday February 27th I was in the other side of it as a parent. My daughter has always been anxious about the dentist. She has never had a bad experience but has always had anxiety around it. Dr. Justin made her feel completely comfortable and answered all her 7 year old questions and would respond to any statements she had. Dr. Weeks is also amazing. He was patient throughout the whole GA process and explained everything to my daughter. I’m am so grateful to have found a dentist that truly cares for mine like I do. Madelynn the assistant that was present that day in the room was so comforting to my daughter as well. It’s obvious the care in the office is genuine towards your child. 100% recommend bringing your child here.

Not only did Dr Joel switch gears to make my son feel comfortable during his scheduled visit today, but when we had to add something unforeseen to the appointment his bedside manner was impeccable and he kept my son nice and calm while working as fast as he could. Sometimes major work is necessary and I am so grateful for Dr. Joel’s attention to meet my son’s immediate needs while also balancing long term goals in the same appointment. I am a mom of five kids and today I was the most impressed I’ve ever been during a dental visit with any of my kids. 10/10 recommend. The entire staff is incredible!

My daughter had more extensive work done than a normal dentist visit. She expressed discomfort in getting her caps replaced and Dr. Justin stopped and made sure she was okay at every step. As a mom I wanted to get up and rub my daughter’s leg… Dr. Justin and his assistant calmed her with words and calming “rubs” to her arm. By the end of it she faired better than me trying to brush her hair in the morning. A million percent recommend this office for your babies.

So glad we found a perfect fit for my kids dentist needs. A+++ experience - highly recommend Added notes, different visit: My kiddo had two baby molars with really long roots that weren't coming out on their own. The office was able to book her extractions less than a week after her cleaning appointment. They made her feel absolutely comfortable, she said she had no pain even with the anesthetic in her gums. She said needle felt like a pinch didn't hurt at all. She didn't take any Advil after the procedure, she didn't take any Advil the day after her procedure because she said it doesn't hurt. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with tooth extractions in an 11-year-old. Unbelievable! Thank you so much

Dentists Joni and Justin Stevens are calm, kind, professional, and extremely thorough. On Christmas Day, both dentists met us at their office after we reached out concerning our son who had fallen and broken one tooth, pushed back another, and ripped open his gums. They told us it was important we get in right away in hopes of saving the teeth. Though this event was an emergency and they asked us to come in right away, their demeanors stayed calm and encouraging. They talked us through the process and did tremendous work on our son. Three weeks post visit, and because of their due diligence, our son is on the mend! We are extremely impressed with their work and grateful for their dedication to their field!

GVPD is phenomenal. Not only are they able to get all 3 of my kids in at the same time for cleanings, their dental assistants and dentists are kinds, caring and great with my sensitive kiddos. They were great about getting my daughter in right away when she needed a baby tooth removed that was getting infected and so gentle and fast with her even though she was really nervous. I highly recommend them both from a level of care perspective as well as customer service.

It was my daughters first dental visit and she left saying, “that was fun!” Kayla was so sweet and really made my little girl feel comfortable being there by showing her the equipment and letting her feel the tools with her hands and listen to what it sounds like before she used it in her mouth. We are also scheduled for a frenectomy for my little baby and the dr came and introduced himself to us. It was just an overall great experience. Again we visited Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry and once again we were impressed. I’d even say more impressed with how wonderful the people there are. Best place ever, I take all 5 of my kids here. Everyone is kind and do their best to fit you in. Dr Justin and Jonie are wonderful people who genuinely care for each person as an individual. They have nitrous oxcide, and a tv above each chair where they do the children’s teeth, the entire place is set up for kids it’s like a beautiful daycare filled with toys and movies when you walk in, tea and coffee for adults. This place is wonderful!! Specifically geared to kids and it really shows. They have the best attitude and techs and Dentists we've ever come across and the attention to detail is amazing. From fun scents to choose when having oral surgery to picking a cartoon or movie to watch even to the coins they get afterwards to get a prize from the fun toy machines.....it is above and beyond a great experience each time. Like anything dental, it is very expensive, however, but at least your kiddo is at a fun, caring, place getting the best experience possible. Macy is THE BEST!!!

My 4 year old daughter needed pretty extensive dental work. All the visits and surgery was amazing and the staff was wonderful. The only complaint I have is post surgery. We were rushed out immediately (im talking the second she woke up) and given no time for my daughter to fully wake, calm down, or control her pain. I was not prepared for this at all. Any other surgical procedure I've been through allows more recovery time and more pain control. We live an hour away so this made the trip home very hard. They wouldnt give her tylenol and I wasn't told to bring Tylenol so I had to go to a local store and buy some which was very difficult given the state she was in. I wish they would have allowed a little more recovery time as well as offer Tylenol especially for people that are traveling from further away. This is why I doc a star. So anyone coming from further away BRING TYLENOL and a juice for your little one. I will definitely return but will be more prepared if my kids need any surgery again through this clinic.

I called another dental clinic in the area and they made it seem very difficult to transfer our files from Great Falls. They took their time and explained everything to him in a way that he would understand so that he wouldn’t be scared. We had to leave a message on the weekend when my daughter had a mouth injury and he responded right away and had us text him pictures of the injury to assess and made sure his office staff followed up with us the following Monday. Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry does an amazing job with both my kids. My young daughter (5 at the time) was terrified of the dentist. She went to three others offices prior to GVPD and she wouldn't even open her mouth. They told me they would have to take her to the hospital and put her under anesthesia in order to complete the necessary work she needed done. I decided to try one more dentist and took her to GVPD. They were able to do the work in their office the first time she saw them!!! That is how good they are with children! My son and my daughter both look forward to going to the dentist now and have no fear what so ever! I can't rate the entire staff high enough. They are all wonderful!

They were so patient with my daughter and understanding that it was her first time to the dentist. They gave me great information and tasks to do at home that were easily implemented into our daily routine. I really loved the staff, from walking in the front door to the assistant helping with pictures of the mouth. My daughter was talked to, encouraged and even though she was scared she loved the staff. I put 4 stars cause although it was fantastic I believe eery business has room for improvement. As a mom I went to a pediatric dentist over a regular one simply cause I hoped they would have methods of calming her down if she got scared and unfortunately I had to hold her down until she calmed down. That’s not something I was mentally prepared for. Also I get dental care, and giving suggestions for what to give your kids for snacks, but ultimately I want to feel like the decision is mine and that I won’t be judged for allowing my kid sweet treats in moderation.

Always the best! My daughter was afraid of the dentist at a young age. We saw several different dentists prior to finding Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry. Our fear was that she would have to go under general anesthesia to have her needed dental work done. On the first visit, they were able to gain her confidence and complete all the necessary work. Huge to have it done in one visit as we live 1-1/2 hours away. Everyone in the office from the front desk people to the hygienists to the dentists are so kind, professional and reassuring. Both my kids LOVE going to the dentist and have no fear of having work beyond the regular cleanings done. We've now been going there for several years and I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!

Dr Richmond also doesn’t push for anesthesia even if more extensive work is necessary, unlike other pediatric dentists in the valley.
