Dr. Lai is amazing! I am so happy I found him and would never want to see another dermatologist. He is truly so kind and friendly. I felt so comfortable getting mohs surgery on my scalp after meeting him and was very clear on all aftercare and any other information I needed. I was sore for 2 days and after that it was like nothing was there! Dr. Lai is truly one of the best providers I’ve ever seen. I’ve told all my friends and family to start seeing him as well. Dr. Lai is a great doctor. I had Mohs surgery and he did a fantastic job stitching my wound to ensure a minimal scare. Before the surgery he had a consultation with me to explain the surgery. If you need Mohs surgery on your face like I did I would highly recommend going to Dr. Lai.

Dr. Lai excised a mole with atypical cells one year ago. His work was excellent with no scar visible. He is very gentle and shows great concern and respect for his patient’s comfort. After the surgery I had a slight adverse reaction to the anesthesia. The assistant was very caring and helpful during the duration of the reaction.

More thorough than other dermatology practices I have visited. Caught and biopsied 2 lesions others ignored. Both were positive. A year later, one of the lesions reappeared and recently had surgery to remove, going deeper. Great staff and NP. Most procedures just required freezing pre-cancer spots although I did require surgery and a skin graft that was set up immediately with a plastic surgeon and the result was very good.

It did turn out to be a form of skin cancer and the office set up the removal. The procedure took less than we expected with no discomfort or pain. We also had other spots checked for suspicious behavior and they ended up being benign, to our relief.
