It was easy to get the appointment and to see a doctor (P.A.). The verbal instructions were given very quickly, but I was told they would be written on the medications. The written instructions were incomplete, but it was difficult to get in touch with the local office or P A. I requested a call back from a central office, but did not receive it timely. When I did get a call back it was from a private number, so I did not answer it. So I called again, left a message with a call center and am now awaiting a call.

I've been a patient at the Forest Hills location for over a year now. No not everything is race based, but it's important to this review. I am a 49 y.o. African American woman and when I came to the practice, I was skeptical because so many dermatologists aren't great at treating melanated skin. My Dermatologist is Danielle Sypher, and when I tell you this woman changed everything about my skin. At the time, I never left the house without makeup (I even wore make up to bed in the company of a significant other) and a mask (post Covid). I would cry in my quiet moments and most of the time I would avoid going out. Danielle transformed my skin. I barely wear makeup now. The compliments about my skin are endless. Go to this practice. See Danielle!!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Highly recommend !!! I had an appointment yesterday to get a few things checked out with my skin. I was already nervous and scared to begin with. The moment I walked in I was greeted and taken care of right away. (super clean office.) I meet with Physician Assistant -Rachel Zakhary and Medical Assistant- Minnie and they were absolutely amazing. They completely answered ALL of my questions and took pictures of everything I showed them. I loved that ! I also came in for a wart removal of the chin and I didn’t feel a thing. (Not knowing it was a wart) The PA Rachel was extremely gentle and took less than a minute to remove it. I truly didn’t even feel the needle while being numbed. I can truly say this was the best experience I’ve ever had in a Dermotologist Office. I’m so grateful that I found them.

I only see Dr Diakow in the Forest Hills office so I can’t speak about the other doctors or physician assistants there but Dr Diakow is very sweet, thorough and makes you feel very comfortable so I have no complaints thus far! She’s quick so I’m in and out in no time. Sometimes there is a wait so what can you do! Nothing terrible though.

There was little to no wait time each time I’ve gone for an appointment , I have been seen by Elana Shalom each time & she is great.. very knowledgeable & assesses what’s going on with my skin accurately and efficiently as well as providing prescriptions/skin regimens that actually work for my needs.Only issue is the parking in the area is rough but other than that 10/10.

What's great about Schweiger Dermatology, there are a lot of different offices. Even though I always went to the Great Neck office, when I lost my job, I needed an office that was closer to me in Queens. When I saw Forest Hills', I didn't need to take public transportation. The office was in walking distance. When I arrived, I didn't have to wait a long time. Before Dr. Marla Daikow came in, one of her assistants came in, took some information and then Dr. Daikow came in and had my skin exam. Whenever I needed to come in besides the annual skin exam, I was able to make appointments without too much trouble.

The Forest Hills office is very conveniently located but unfortunately the doctor we see is only there one day a week so booking can take a long time for an appointment. Dr Diakow is fantastic, very patient and knowledgeable, with great sympathy and bedside manner. highly recommended!

I’ve been seeing Shivanie Takker for almost a year now for adult acne and we’ve built a wonderful patient/doctor relationship. My first impression was ‘wow she knows what she is talking about!’ She is very detail oriented and spends time during your visit to explain exactly what is happening and the steps she would like to take to correct and improve. The forest hills office is my main location and I always love the way it smells. Always clean and well kept. The wait time is short and each patient is given quality time needed. I would suggest taking public transportation or Uber because parking is a big issue. Overall, I would recommend Shivanie to anyone experiencing skin issues and need help. P.S the acne plan wouldn’t work if the patient isn’t consistent with the regimen. Stick to it and you will get results

Only one drawback is they don't have parking for patients so my suggestion is get there a bit early to look for street metered parking . I just moved to NYC within the past year and was recommended this location based on word of mouth. My provider was Dr. Marla Diakow. I didn't have to wait long upon arrival, Dr. Marla was very informative/kind-hearted, and this is a place I would recommend to someone else. Out of all the dermatology places I have been, this blows everything else away. They should be a model when it comes to dermatology locations.

I was so nervous at first to come to a dermatologist. This was the first one I found online and wow!!!! They are amazing. I have skin discoloration (around my eye) for months and the ladies here have worked with me and improved my skin tremendously! I feel so much more confident. Not having to hide behind makeup is great!! I definitely recommend this place!!! They are more services as well such as Botox and fillers!! Great job to everyone working here

I usually go to the group at a different location but since Covid the Forest hills location was more convenient and I couldn't have bee happier. Going to a any medical office during Covid can be scary. Yaroslav at the desk was absolutely professional and helpful, his friendly personality made me feel at ease. All the necessary precautions were taken. I had an appt with Nicolle Finn, PA who was excellent! She was professional, caring and really good at what she does. I would def recommend her. This place is great. When I first walked in there I was very embarrassed about my situation. They made me feel comfortable and introduced me to someone with my same struggles. I automatically felt relief and a little normal for once. I have never waited long there and any reception or PA i have come across has been so kind and welcoming to me. I am very sensitive and not good with pain but the doctor has good hands and I didn't feel a thing. It is also very clean and nice. I recommend them to anyone having skin troubles.

Shivani is great she is currently helping me get over a very scary skin condition. She explains everything very thoroughly and she gives you plenty of time to think about your different treatment options. She is very friendly and great bedside manner. The front staff is very friendly including Stephanie, one of the medical assistants who made me very comfortable for my first visit. I hope that I don't have to keep on visiting this office too often but I wouldn't mind if I have too.
