Dr. Sumayah Jamal explained everything very well and make it know that light scarring isn't worth the risk of laser correction complications so more to ponder on my decision. Hana Seckler, PA is amazing and very knowledgeable. She took her time to listen to my concerns and gave great feedback/advice. I feel very comfortable during my visit seeing her and would definitely return. I only gave four stars because the office was surprisingly warm. I'm used to medical offices being pretty cold. There are also some flies or bugs flying around the waiting room and one was in the patient room. It's summertime so I can't fully blame them but just slightly off-putting for doctor's office. Despite that, I would definitely return to speak with Hana.

Both the office and medical staff at Schweiger Flatiron are pleasant and helpful. I was taken on time for my appointment, and the PA was very thorough in her exam, filling in Dr Jamal on my skin issues prior to her entry into the exam room. The PA especially was helpful in connecting me to a specialty pharmacy that could get me my skin care products at a discount. Dr. Gloria Lin has been one of the few doctors overall across different specialties that I'm glad to have found. She set me up with a simple prescription and routine and in under a year my skin was looking better than it ever had before. Nothing was working for me. Everything over the years was burning me, drying me out, creating bigger problems, etc. I was very upset with my appearance and what felt like my inability to "fix" my skin. Everything has been so simple and easy since I started coming to Schweiger Dermatology and seeing Dr. Lin. The staff there are all so helpful, honest, real, and overall great to be around. I've only had a bit of a wait time a few visits, but always had my concerns met and answered clearly and concisely. Also, get your yearly skin exams! It's likely covered by insurance, quick and easy, and very important to catching something serious early on. I had really stubborn acne and hyperpigmentation. Now, I can go weeks without using a prescription and still maintain clear, healthy skin. It's very rare that I'll break out now. If I do, it's one to two small bumps and normally triggered by PMDD stress. Where it took weeks for blemishes to disappear, it's gone in under a week. In one to two days now if I dab on a bit of a prescribed retinol. Definitely try this doctor out!

I am a past patient. I was seen and examined by Dr. Jamal timely, and after my diagnosis I was referred to a pharmacy that contacted me promptly and offered home delivery service. I found out that the medicine was not covered by my insurance, but they provided me with a coupon thereby reducing the cost of the medication substantially. Updated review, 1/6/23: After I wrote to the email in the response below, the billing department was able to quickly resolve the problem, so I'm fully satisfied. Hopefully they're taking steps to simplify problem solving in future. I'll repeat that I was very happy with the care I got from Schweiger! I'll gladly return there for future skin care. Original review: Problematic billing department! I visited this Schweiger location for routine screening because it was in-network for BCBS insurance. The care was good - the offices are clean and pleasant, no wait time, and good care from the NP. However, their billing department failed to confirm the right approvals from BCBS and then sent me a bill for the full (non-negotiated) rate. This kicked off a bureaucratic nightmare that's been going on for a year. I would call them roughly once a month and offer to pay them at the negotiated rate. The phone rep would agree that there was a problem and would promise me escalation and a callback which never came. Rinse and repeat until this month, when I open my mail to discover they've sent the inappropriate bill to collections. Not good!

Today was my daughter first appointment there. She saw Dr Hammerman, she left feeling good. She said Dr Hammerman listened to her and answered her questions and came up with a game plan for her condition. My daughter said the assistant made sure she understood everything before she left. The front desk staff is so nice and pleasant.

I love Schweiger Dermatology. Dr. Hammerman is so nice and accomodating . He listens to my concerns and gives me his best advice. I have suffered from acne scaring for years and have finally decided to do something about it now that my acne has subsided. He was recommended by Dr. Joanna Zurada also my dermatologist in NJ. I am so glad she did because with lazer treatments Dr. Hammerman has given me I have seen a significant improvement and plan to do filler for my larger scars. I had to wait a long time, but that's any doctor's office. The place is really bright, clean, kind of spa-like. The provider listened to me, and even though the visit was short once I got seen, I didn't feel rushed. I walked out with exactly the treatment plan I wanted. Sometimes dermatologists feel like they're pushing you towards beauty stuff, and not basic health stuff, but this place took my acne issues seriously.

Easy to give this establishment FIVE STARS!!! From numerous appointment reminders to incredibly professorial staff, I will return as a patient . As a first time patient I entered am immaculately clean facility. The initial "paperwork" was seamless, and I was seen by Dr. promptly Dr. Hammerman has incredible bedside manner. I never felt that I was "just another patient". I was examined in a very comfortable setting, and even after his diagnosis, he's was attentive to all my questions. His assistant Lisa oversaw my entire visit. And made me feel comfortable from beginning to end .

Three visits and the waiting has been minimal. The receptionists vary, however they all are pleasant and attentive. The nursing staff, PAs and doctors are on point. Welcoming, but right to what brought you in. They listen and that was key for me. Further, my doctor was reluctant to "cut" when other derms I visited prior to this were not. Dermatologist Kendra Joseph The front office staff was both professional and personable and the patient care staff was thorough. PA Kendra Joseph was especially detailed in explaining my diagnosis and treatment. She was very deliberate in asking if I had any questions—twice and answered each one patiently. I was very hesitant to see a dermatologist for my condition but was immediately at ease during my exam. I’ve found a home for my dermatological care and will be sure to refer family and friends who have a need!

I came in June for dyshydrotic eczema which I have never experienced so I was quite uncomfortable. They tried the topical ointments first which were ineffective. I like that they did not try to push pills on you (Prednisone etc) and look for all solutions first. I ended up having to undergo steroid injections in my hands in July. The procedure was not painful at all and within 2 days my hands were back to normal. Emily Eppel, PA-C was so kind and was genuinely happy to see the change that occurred as was I!!

I've been going here for about a year and have really enjoyed my experience. I've found the doctors to be highly knowledgeable and willing to offer a wide variety of suggestions when appropriate. The office is beautiful and clean. I personally recommend Dr. Hammerman. The only thing that diminishes the experience is the front desk and their aggressive attempts to collect small balances ($8) from the previous visit, though.

I have been to many dermatologists seeking some relief with my psoriosis I have tried a million things a million meds I have always asked about injections and was always told I didn’t have a significant amount to qualify which was craziness it wasn’t until I went to see Brittney and Edna at Schweiger I was absolutely eligible difference was they took the time to find the right meds and got my paperwork in and didn’t take no for an answer after living with this issue for more then 20 years I can proudly say I’m almost 80% clear with just 3 injections so far my itchiness is totally gone and I haven’t seen my actually skin in years I’m so excited to see more and more results thanks to them I have something to look forward to !!! This location is my favorite. The office is modern and clean. The receptionists are helpful and willing to accommodate you. Even if you just walk in sometimes, you can be seen if you are looking to get a cortisone shot, you just have to wait a bit. Dr. Hammerman is attentive to concerns and questions. It is better to make an appointment but if I am going to be in another part of town, I can make an appointment at one of the other offices which is convenient. My skin has been beautiful since seeing Dr. Hammerman.
