WOW!!! Had a great experience as a visitor to this gym. The staff were friendly and inviting. The equipment was new and so much variety. Great energy and vibes. Only regret is I dont live closer! Highly recommended

Love the gym, but we place drinks thru the app so that when we leave theyre ready. But your standing there pretending to look at the monitor with no customers and when I arrive u then make the shake, lucky it was delicious

I can’t recommend Carter’s Gym Springwood highly enough! The gym itself is fantastic - clean, well-equipped and great training vibes. Special shoutout to Isaac who made the whole experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for. There was no pressure at all – just honest advice and great service. 💯recommended!

Gym is spacious, clean and equipped to cater to every training needs. I can't recommend my trainer highly enough. I've lost 23kgs with the support of Jack who truly understands real-life challenges. He tailored everything around my age, health issues and the demands of shift work. I was nervous and overwhelmed about returning to the gym after a 25yr break, but his guidance, encouragement and easy to follow plans made it safe and achievable. Thank you, Jack, for empowering this old girl into an environment I thought wasn't for me. Genuinely life changing!

I tried fitness cartel one day in 2025, Pros: Big gym with plenty of equipment Clean overall Air conditioning works Showers work properly Clear concept and consistent branding Night club style vibe with loud music, which appeals to people who enjoy that atmosphere Therefore mostly younger and more attractive crowd, mainly people in their 20s and 30s, compared to other gyms I saw Cons Extremely dark lighting, with dim lights and no windows I struggled to see the kg labels on machines to place the pin correctly It feels like nighttime inside even when it is very sunny outside Management confirmed the lighting will not be increased as it is their signature style, which is fair Research shows brighter lighting during training is linked to better performance such as muscle gain and calorie burn Poor visibility can border on a safety issue if obstacles are hard to see The lighting setup simply does not work for me, though it may suit others Different scientific studies proved a significant correlation between brighter lights during gym sessions and better performance as in muscle gain/burnt calories. Changing rooms could give more space, as they comfortably fit only about three people at a time and there's more space in the center for benches to accommodate more people changing. Overall, it is a well run and clean gym with a specific vibe. If you like low light, club style training, it may suit you. For me, the lighting was the deal breaker.

Nat is an absolute gem! I had a gym tour with her today and it genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. She was super lovely, incredibly down to earth and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. What really stood out was how attentively she listened to my needs — not just the usual quick run-through, but a proper conversation about what I’m looking for, what makes me comfortable and how the gym could support that. I’ve had a few gym introductions elsewhere and honestly none of them even come close to the standard Nat set today. She explained everything clearly, answered every question without making me feel silly and created an environment where I felt supported rather than overwhelmed. For the first time, I walked away from a gym tour feeling confident, excited and completely at ease.

Great gym with excellent equipment and atmosphere. Special thanks to Coach Nick Belvedere who helped me lose about 25% of my body fat mass in just 8 weeks while gaining strength and muscle. The progress shows not only in the scans but also in how I look and feel. Nick is knowledgeable, sincere, and genuinely cares about his clients. Highly recommend him.

A large gym with plenty of equipment and a good outdoor training area. Booking classes through the app is quick and easy, as is ordering shakes. A lot of instructor-led classes, with a wide variety, and great instructors. For times there's no classes, they have a lot of Virtual Les Mills classes, with large screens in both the Group Fitness and Cycle studios.

I've been coming now for about five weeks and I love it. I love the variety of classes, the community of attendees and the class instructors are amazing. Pretty new gym so all equipment is new. Classes are available 24/7 with some running virtually and some with instructors. Fancy bathrooms with sauna included. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner, but great hair drying options available in at least the ladies' bathroom. Lockers available on the floor are open faced or the ones in the bathroom you can lock if you bring your own small padlock. Give them a look if you are on the search for a new gym.

I have been a member for a couple of weeks now, and the gym is great, it’s big & has everything you need! I utilise the creche for my 1 year old & the girls that work in there are all incredible with her! My daughter gets a bit upset as i’m leaving to train as she’s a bit of a clinger but they help to distract her and are able to settle her down super quickly so i’m able to get my full workout done without having to worry, she is always in a great mood having fun playing when I return! So grateful for them 🙌🏽

Great new health club with loads of machinery and different workout spaces. Also 5 massive stars for the crèche! Jess and the other women are wonderful looking after my 3 month old. As a first time mum I was nervous about leaving my baby but they make me feel very comfortable with leaving him there. They are also miracle workers getting him to nap which makes my whole day! He’s very happy there.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The crèche at Fitness Cartel is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, Talia, Jess and the team made me feel so comfortable and reassured about leaving my kids. They are warm, caring and genuinely love what they do, which gives me the peace of mind to enjoy my workout without the stress or guilt. My kids love coming here too – they’re always happy and excited to see the girls. It makes such a difference knowing they’re in such safe and happy hands. Highly recommend
