Oxley fitness cartel is such a vibe, fantastic amenities, bathroom equipped so that you can work out, shower then polish your look with every Dyson hair styling tool under the sun. Fitness Cartel is a ‘one stop shop’ in comparison to other gyms. The facilities are top tier for what I pay. The accessibility of the club is something I really value too. As an autistic person who suffers from light sensitivity and sensory overload, the colours and dim lighting in Fitness Cartel is exceptional. I don’t have to be staring at glaringly bright lights while doing my bench presses etc. Definitely recommend Fitness Cartel for those who are sick of the generic gym experience and want something more out of their gym.

It’s a perfect little gym and the amenities and 3rd party facilities that they offer are nothing short of prestigious. Not to mention the staff, Ella, the lovely lady who served me was a tremendous help and definitely sold the gym 😂. Overall would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone!!

been going here for 3 years, love the atmosphere and equipment range. the only complaint is that the machines take a very long time to get fixed. the seat on the low row has been broken for about 2 months now forcing me to use the other row machine which is less suited to my training plan. i would recommend against taking some of the classes as the instructors are quite hit and miss. overall nice location massive gym and good equiptment.

Great gym to frequent. Spacious with new equipment and still bringing more equipment. Air conditioned, clean bathroom and showers, and equipment layout is nicely designed based on function. The only reason I no longer frequent was due to moving to another state; the staff was very understanding and helpful in easing the end of contract.

Have been going to fitness cartel for a few months now it has been an amazing experience, they have so much equipment and plenty of space for different training types. I have been seeing Marko from @marko.maximum.movement and he has done what physiotherapist haven't been able to do, give me back my freedom. I am so much more flexible, my range of motion is so much better and more importantly I'm getting stronger. I'm looking forward to my future with fitness cartel and more importantly Marko. Would recommend this gym to everyone I know. I could go on and on and on but if anyone is reading this to guage weather they should go to this gym or not I recommend it 100% hands down. I signed up 3 weeks ago and I can honestly say that it’s the best gym I’ve trained at. I’ve gone to a lot of gyms including good life, world gyms, fitness first and snap fitness both in Brisbane and on the GC, but Fitness Cartel Oxley is my favourite so far. The staff are very welcoming, the atmosphere is great, the equipment is well kept and clean. Highly recommend asking for Ash, who stepped me through the process and made me feel welcomed when I was wanting to join.

Fantastic gym. Always greeted with a smile from the front desk staff. I ended up making the switch from another gym because of Reformer Pilates and I haven't regretted it! Amazing Pilates instructors - Nicky / Krystle / Rachel / Hannah are incredible instructors. But biggest shout-out is to my PT Nicky who has been with me every step of the way in gaining my hip flexor mobility back. She's full of knowledge and doesn't just treat the body but also mind and emotional wellbeing. She's honestly a game changer and I wouldn't be able to do the things I can do today without her!

The joining fees are expensive and they won’t openly tell you. Read the fine lines before signing up. It’s a nice set up but the lighting is so dark, I feel like having a nap every time I’m there lol. I guess the atmosphere is not my thing. I’ll give them four stars because the staff are friendly and Shannon was lovely to deal with on the phone when it came to terminating my membership. Will probably go back to group training such as F45.

I've been working out here for a year. Before this I was looking for a place for my rugby league team to train when it rains and came and spoke with James and he offered a space for my team free of charge. This is what made my mind up about becoming a member. That a club would give back to our youth and give them a free space to come and train and not be judged. I have been training on and off for 6 years and been a member with multiple gyms. If it's space and a variety of weights and open floor to do strength, cardio or conditioning then fitness cartel oxley is the gym. James still offers the gym free of charge for my team not just the juniors but seniors for a one day weekly session. Thanks Lapana

Staff are excellent, friendly and easy to deal with. The gym itself has everything you'd want in a large gym. Comparing to World Gym Ipswich, FC Oxley is more welcoming and comfortable to train at while not sacrificing any of the equipment or facilities. I travel 30 mins each way to train at this gym because it's that good.

I recently joined Fitness Cartel and I have had such a positive experience. The staff are friendly and the vibe is upbeat and motivating. One of the PTs- Marko is so supportive and knowledgeable, and has helped me get back on track with my fitness goals after a long hiatus. Marko runs an excellent calisthenics class. Marko has extensive knowledge when it comes to fitness and would often provide real-time tips to enhance and improve my skills. There are a variety of group fitness classes. I recommend giving Calisthenics with Marko a go. You won’t regret it.

Awesome gym! Staff are very welcoming. I’ve been through a few PTs (at other gyms) and Courtney by far is the best! Understands and listens to my goals and sets programs and gives advice accordingly 😊 also doesn’t give up on me when I give up on myself at times hah! Also, the ladies in the creche are great! I want to say a huge thank you to Krystle for making me enjoy it again. Although I am not back training weights, Krystle’s Reformer Pilate classes has been making me enjoy getting back into fitness. Her classes make me feel like I’ve done a solid workout. I use to not think much of Pilates but mannnnnn her classes are fire!!!! Not to mention the best bangers which makes it such a vibe!!! Had a few p.t sessions recently here, i can easily say i was very comfortable with my surroundings, the equipment is set out well and practical to use when completing a session. I was thoroughly impressed with both the professionalism and duty of care shown from my trainer Jordan Leeds. Top quality equipment, that always works, amazing staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about the supplements and training while being very fairly priced. It has a large gym floor space which means you can always get on with what you want to do without waiting for the kit. Definitely recommend joining if you are a beginner or an expert.

Myself and my wife signed up at fitness cartel before it opened thinking it was just another gym . I wasn’t even serious about training , our first gym session wasn’t until a weeks later and I tell you what , Ive worked out 6 days a week since then . I’ve done an 8 week challenge and love it ! The atmosphere is electric when you walk in your always greeted with a smile , like your coming home after a long day and the mrs makes you dinner ? That sort of welcoming ! Everyone deserves it cos we’re worth it ! The set up is awesome machines are top of the range ! Plenty of classes to choose from ! personal trainer are full of life and love their job , not snobby like some other gyms they’ve sure picked a good bunch . Wills and Maxwell are incredible PT. Amazing atmosphere and people are top notch. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The trainers are fantastic they take the time to make sure you are getting the support you need and focus on mastering your techniques, making sure you can be the best you can be. They're accommodate to whatever level your at. Being new is always a bit stressful but the these guys make you as ease.

Absolutely in awe of this space! Walk in reception to be welcomed by some happy, lovely faces. Bathrooms are an absolute dream and perfect for my daily gym selfies, so aesthetically pleasing. The equipment is so nice and easy to use and I know I can always rely on the staff to help me out with anything I need! BEST GYM EVER.

*Updated Review* After my initial review was posted (see below) James from the FC team contacted me via email straight away, and was quick to ensure the problem was rectified as soon as possible. He organised a face-to-face meeting, explained the situation and corrected the issue. Despite the above mishap, the gym itself is excellent, with great floor space, equipment and facilities, suitable for all levels of training. ‐----‐---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fitness Cartel Oxley has been ignoring my emails in regards to halting payments up to an agreed date. Have been deducted incorrectly twice now. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, as they just recently opened, however they seem to be active on social media and responding to feedback within hours of it being posted, but have not bothered to contact me or respond to my emails sent two weeks ago and a week ago. Err on the side of caution to people thinking of signing up, that they are dishonest with agreements and are unresponsive after they've already secured your membership.

This is honestly THE MOST incredible gym I have ever trained in, and I am very picky when it comes to my training space! I have recently relocated to Brisbane from Melbourne, and was very sad about leaving my beloved gym family behind when I left. The wonderful staff at Fitness Cartel Oxley made me feel so so welcome when I came to train here for the first time, and it felt like home instantly. A gym where the receptionist warmly and genuinely greets you, the trainers and members are friendly, and where there is an abundance of equipment available makes all the difference for me when it comes to choosing the right gym. I love how the isolation machines for glute work/other equipment where you are a little more "exposed" in your positioning are set up in a corner of the gym called the "comfort zone", to allow people to feel a little less vulnerable when using it. As a PT, I highly rate this as I know how daunting it can be for many people to train in a big gym! The gym runs a variety of group fitness classes and pilates, and even have a live DJ on Friday nights! The bathrooms are beautiful, there's heaps of parking, and also places to sit and eat/work if you need to. This gym has a comfort, advanced training and community factor which many gyms I've been too don't, and honestly what you get is worth so much more than the membership costs. The staff have been amazingly accommodating and I would recommend Fitness Cartel Oxley to anyone! If I could give more stars I would <3

What a fun place to work out! I mostly do functional training and it has majority of the equipment I need. Still waiting on boxes for box jumps overs but they said equipment is still on it's way. Staff are friendly and the gym is well priced. I loved going to the gym, I love it even more now 😆

Great inclusive environment and well catered for beginners to advanced. For the price you pay it's comparable to the cheaper unstaffed gyms with worse/less equipment. Why pay the same for less? Make the move over to fitness cartel like I did and you won't regret it!

Haven't been to a big gym in a while but this place is a pleasure to work out at. Plenty of equipment, benches, squat racks, deadlifting areas and machines. Everything is brand new at the time of writing this review. I usually head to the gym late after work (I work in hospitality) and I don't have to wait for anyone to finish their sets. Also for payment they don't charge me any processing fees which is a big plus!
