The young lady who took me back and performed her tests (pre-doctor) went well and she was very educated in her duties. I don't remember her name. After years of getting my diabetic eye exam at Henry Ford Optimize (Roseville). When I began having much severity problems with my eyes, this place failed me big time. After back and forth with follow ups and got nowhere it was time to get out and no return. I’m thankful I turned to Fite Eye Center. My appointment was very comforting, staff great, clean and relaxing. After my full exam from Dr Fite, I was diagnosed with several things, to the point had to go on antibiotics and steroid eye drops. Something I’m gonna need monitoring. I’m thankful I come to this facility, if I’d continued with those goons at Henry Ford, not sure what condition my eyes would’ve been. Much thanks to Dr Fite. Here to stay. Update on recent office visit. October, 22, 2024. Eyes are so much better, 6 months follow up.

Dr. Fite identified my symptoms in less than 10 minutes and knew something else more seriously was going on and he scheduled an emergency MRI. They found a mass on my heart causing an autoimmune that attacks the bodies muscles. This is also a neurological disorder. Surgery set for a “thymectomy”. Had I not seen Dr. Fite or had it not been for his expertise, I could have permanent vision damage, along with other severe side effects and possible death. Thank you Doc!!!!

First time appointment for cataract evaluation. Staff very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Monson explained my eyes to me so I could understand and he reassured me as to my cataract surgery. Waiting for second appointment with surgical consult with Sherry. So far so good.
Appointment for my annual eye exam, since I have diabetes. The staff was friendly and efficient in preparing me for Dr Monson's exam. Learned from Dr. Monson that Medicare may pay up to $150 toward new glasses, after having cataract surgeries on both eyes.

A lot of times you find a good doctor but the office staff are difficult to work with. That is not the case at Fite Eye Center. Every staff person has been great from the person who answers the phone to the one that you see just before the Dr. I have been seeing Dr. Monson for over 10 years, he is a terrific Dr. If he wasn’t, I would’ve never let him get near my eyes, he did 2 cataract surgeries on me. My 1st visit! I hav MG and it's difficult to get the prism in my lenses so there's no double vision. Dr Monson was thorough and listened to my concerns and noted that there were other things going on with my vision that we need to keep a watch on. Very pleased! I am the patient... Linda Deskins. I have ARMD and I thought I was losing my eyesight. Dr Fite examined me and diagnosed me with inflammation of the eyelids. Prescribed special eye drops and recommended a moist eye treatment. I am so relieved and happy I found him!

I never spent more than 20 minutes in the office at any appointment, which is basically unheard of at a doctors office. I had to reschedule my surgery date twice and they were more than accommodating with my scheduling conflicts. I can't say enough good things about my experience and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is considering eye surgery!

After a lot of years deliberating, I finally made the decision to get LASIK in October 2015 and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Fite was exceptional - informative, professional, caring and kind. From start to finish, my experience was top notch. Lisa answered all of my (many) questions and put me at ease with the procedure and what to expect before, during and after. The surgery center was also excellent - warm atmosphere, caring professionals and an on-time and easy experience. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner! I could see very well by noon on the day of my surgery and perfect the next day!!

Dr. Fite did a corneal transplant for my husband in 2012, so our relationship with his office is considerable. Dr. Fite did a PK surgery for my husband April 2012. He takes his time at every visit and answers all questions in layspeak. He is a gifted surgeon and has an excellent bedside manner.
