My kids have been going here for years and we love it. The staff are well trained and good with kids.
We initially came Expedition Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics when we needed a second opinion for some dental work that our daughter needed done. They understood our concerns and helped us to feel comfortable with the treatment plan. We have continued to bring all of our kids to them. Our youngest recently had his first visit, and it went even better than expected.
I was referred to Expedition by my dental hygienist since my daughter needed quite a bit of work done in her mouth. She reassured me that they would be understanding and wouldn't try and "shame" me as a parent for it. She was right! My daughter has had a wonderful experience each visit and is actually really excited to go to her dental appointments now! The doctors and staff are so kind and welcoming, listen to you, and you can tell that they truly care about each kiddo that sits in their chair. The atmosphere is geared towards children, and my daughter really loves the games in the lobby and the prizes they give at the end of the appointment! We couldn't be happier with our decision on going with Expedition and cannot recommend them enough!
Expedition is an amazing dentistry. I take my 5 year old here and my 2 year old. They work well through fears of being at the dentist and make the dentist a fun experience for kids. All of their staff is so welcoming and caring!
Great experience! The staff did a great job at explaining and showing my 3 year old what they were doing and going to use. She did an amazing job and loved the dentist. She can’t wait to go back!
For pediatric dentistry, you can’t go wrong here. Expedition seems to be designed with young children in mind. Their staff are excellent with children, patient (a vital skill when kids are crying or fighting through their examination), and respectful of parental choice. That last part is the most important to me. Often, care providers will just talk (or demand, or threaten) parents into what they think a parent should do, without fully explaining options or alternatives. I’ve never received that from Expedition staff. Every single option has been explained to me and if I’ve asked for alternatives, they’ve been fully explained. Anything we have chosen or avoided for our children has been clearly marked in their files and respected. If your child is in need of a pediatric dentist, I cannot recommend them enough.
It was my daughter’s first trip to the dentist ever and I am so glad we chose Expedition! The office was super kid friendly, the staff was so kind and welcoming, and everything was explained in great detail before being done! Both the hygienist and dentist went above and beyond to make sure my girl felt comfortable! Can’t recommend this place enough!
We have been taking our kids to Expedition for 3 years. They are so gentle and sweet with the kids, explain to the kids what they are doing before they begin, and answer all of our questions that we may have! They have always been kind and appointments have always been on time which is a huge plus with little kids! Highly recommend!!
We took my 3 y.o. daughter here for her first dental visit and I will be honest, I was nervous for her as I have a fear of going to the dentist and I didn't want to project that on her. She did so amazing and they were wonderful with her. Everyone was so kind and they took their time with her visit, explained what they were doing before they did it to her and answered any and all questions that we had. She had such a great first experience that she has since asked if she can go back to the dentist office at least once a week! Highly recommend Expedition Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics and Dr. Hayter and their dentistry team!

Such a great kids’ dentist! The staff is so friendly and patient, and they made my child feel comfortable the whole time. A special thank you to Mark, he was very kind and helpful with the kids taking X-rays. My kid left smiling and actually excited to come back!
Expedition does a great job everytime with my kiddos. They are very thorough and take their time addressing any concerns I may have. The staff was wonderful with one of my kiddos very first dentist appointment and made it an excellent experience!!
After a few bad experiences with a local family dentist neglecting issues my child was having we looked elsewhere and found Expedition Pediatric Dentistry. We found out she needed extensive work and had to be put under. The entire process was well explained from billing to anesthesia. They took care of our daughters surgery with so much care and compassion. We loved our experience so much we moved all 10 of our kids over and drive an hour an half one way for our visits.
Both of our boys go here for dental care and we are so pleased! It’s a pediatric dentist, yes, but we absolutely love how they interact and work with the kids. It feels very above and beyond. Especially on the first visit where kids can be nervous, they talk to the kids, explain what they’re doing (at a level that the kids understand), and make sure the kids know they won’t get hurt. The staff is friendly, the facility is immaculate… we don’t have enough good things to say and recommend them anytime someone asks. Thank you Expedition!
Amazing staff and great work!!! My son was very nervous going to the dentist and they made him feel so comfortable.
I brought my 11 month old in for his first ever dentist appointment. They brought us back quickly, but they did have some cool toys in the waiting room that my son enjoyed during our short wait! I was so happy with how gently and kindly he was treated. I felt like all of my concerns were heard and addressed. I was also given good information about the first steps for tooth care (given he’s so young and my first child, this was extra helpful). I look forward to bringing him back in for his next checkup!
I took my toddler for his first dentist visit and this entire team was fantastic. I was nervous because he doesn’t really like anyone messing with his teeth besides me, but they did so good with him and he surprised even me! I’ll definitely be taking him back and using this office for him .
Michelle is such a great person to work with. She recently put on my son's braces. She was so patient and took the time to explain each step along the way. Even though I'm sure she says it so many times in a day she acted like it was no big deal. My son was anxious about this process and Michelle totally eased his nerves. We are thankful for her and her wonderful care.
My son had a tooth cracked in half from hitting his chin on his knee. Expedition got us in that same morning! All the girls were so sweet, calming and gentle. They were sensitive to our time and didn’t overcharge. I was very thankful for their help!
We love Expedition! All of my kids have had great experiences....from cleanings, to fillings, oral surgery and orthodontia. Bonus: they can get all 4 of my kids in for cleanings at the same time 🎉 The staff is very kind and down to earth and they do a good job of verifying insurance and not scheduling things until insurance will pay for them. Highly recommend 👌
The staff at Expedition Dentistry are amazing. Michelle is our favorite ortho assistant. She always takes the time to make sure my daughter is comfortable and answers all of our questions. I can tell she has a passion for her job and for the care of her patients. So glad we found their office and Michelle! Thanks for all that you do!

We have been with Expedition Pediatric Dentistry for several years, and unfortunately, our daughter is aging out and moving to an adult dentist. We have always had great experiences with them, at their Springfield, Nixa, and Republic offices!
The best pediatric dental clinic!! My son is autistic with sensory issues. I called around to so many other dental clinics who kept telling me they couldn’t accommodate my son. Then I found Expedition Dental. The exam went very well, we were even able to get our own private exam room for a quieter experience. The dental hygienist was great. Before the exam started, she asked us if she could do anything to make the experience better for our son or us. She explained everything she did beforehand and let our son touch the equipment. My child does need some extra dental work done and they are able to provide general anesthesia to make the experience less traumatic for him. We are very happy with the care they provided.

Amazing experience. My preschool age daughter loved it. She told me over and over “they were so so nice”. Even later that day, she asked if she could go back! 🤣! They had fun games to play while they wait, clean and beautiful location. Very friendly front desk. And of course she loved the suction toothbrush and animal shaped floss she got to take home. I was nervous if she’d be scared but they made it an amazing experience. She even told me no to candy that day because she “didn’t want to get cavity”!
Dr. Gardner is very gifted. His kindness has been a turning point in getting dental care for my autistic kiddo. Dr. Gardner is extremely fast and skillful - which makes it a breeze getting fillings, caps, and cleanings. We are always in and out in an hour or less. All his staff are kind, courteous, and gentle with my kids as well. We are so happy with our experience here after trying multiple dentists in search of someone who is a good fit for our needs. Thank you Dr. Gardner!

My 3 kids had dental cleanings today. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Two of my kids got their teeth cleaned for the first time today and the hygienists were very sweet! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!
Nice, clean office. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They had excellent patience with my 5 children. On one occasion, one of our children had a dental emergency. We were scheduled that day and everything was handled so courteously and professionally.
Edited: have had some billing disputes since then. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. It's a mix of staff we really like and then the other half... Not so much.
The hygienist and dentist were amazing with our son for his first appointment. I was blown away by their care and wish I could see them as well!! Amazing service!!!

My daughter loves visiting Dr Gardner and his staff. They make a child feel safe and cared about with their child friendly office and smiles.
Absolutely recommend Dr Gardner to anyone that needs a dentist for their child. The hygienists were wonderful with my two girls, the youngest being 3 and has never been to the dentist before. They were very patient with her and helped make her comfortable so they could clean her teeth. Dr Gardner answered all my questions and was very nice. We will definitely be back every six months. :)

My experience with Gardner Pediatric Dentistry has been awesome. For the last one year I rely on this clinic for my daughter and son's dental needs. My son needed oral surgery involving anesthesia. The entire procedure was handled wonderfully. It was touching that Dr. Gardner and members of his team would call home to check on post op recovery. I like Dr. Gardner and his team for they are humble, reasonably priced and truly care for patients. They are highly recommended.

I took my three year old to Gardner Pediatric for her first dental check-up, and I was very impressed with how good they were with my daughter. They were very patient, and they made sure she understood everything they were about to do before they did it. Everything is very kid friendly. I also had my 4-month-old with me, and they were very accommodating to let me nurse him in the exam room after the appointment was over. We had a great experience.
Dr. Gardner was excellent with my daughter! She was really nervous to come, but he and his assistants made her feel super comfortable. She was excited to pick out a prize, and now every time we talk about her teeth, she mentions Dr. Gardner! We can't wait to go back!!
We love Gardner Perdiatric Dentistry! I can’t say enough about the staff, Dr. Gardner himself and the level of care that they provide my children. They are so patient, kind and understanding in every situation! We have children with no cavities, and one who has several, and a child with dentist related anxiety, Dr. Gardner and his staff are always attentive to how any of our children are reacting to treatment! Very good and patient with our son. It was his first visit and he was very scared, but they did well with him. All the staff and the dentist was very friendly. They have a nice office with tvs on the celing to keep the kid distracted. I would recommend this place to anyone with children.
My little love didn’t even hesitate a bit. The lobby was very welcoming which made it exciting from the start and I would say that made a huge impression for her. The staff was fantastic as expected. I always check ratings before we go anywhere and I was not disappointed. ;) They are very deserving of their rating! Thanks a bunch! See you in a few months!

Gardner is on point. I brought my two sons in there this afternoon at 4pm, and because the waiting room was full, I was worried it would take a long time.
That was totally not the case! They got both boys in right at 4, quickly did x-rays, cleanings and exams and we were out by 4:35 with our next appointment scheduled!
The staff was extremely friendly and good with the kids and Dr Gardner is very knowledgeable.
The place is very kid friendly with TVs on the ceiling so the kids can watch Netflix while they get their exam.
Highly recommend!
My 20 month old fell and broke his top two teeth just before 5pm. I called Gardner Pediatric Dentistry right as they were closing and they so graciously agreed to wait for me to arrive and examine my son. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean and the doctor was very knowledgeable. We will for sure continue to use them for our three children.
They did AMAZING with my 3 year old! I was so worried about taking him to the dentist but they made it so easy!
