Amazing experience, loved the cheese board and the hot chocolate. Beth was very knowledgeable of my hair concerns and super easy to talk to. I loved how she talked through all the products she was using and how they help etc, felt very personalised. The hair spa and massage chair was a really nice touch & I nearly fell asleep lol. I went away with the olaplex leave in serum which made my hair feel amazing. 10/10 would recommend :)

I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, but the stylist was patient and offered suggestions. The result? A cut that felt fresh but still very 'me'. The place is tidy, good vibe, and not too loud. One thing I noticed was the time—it took a bit longer than I expected, even though I had an appointment. Not a huge deal, but worth knowing if you’re on a schedule. Prices are reasonable, especially given the location. Didn’t feel upsold on anything either. I wouldn call it solid service, decent results, and nice people. That’s all I’m really after when I’m getting my hair done.

I’ve had two appointments now with Shayla, a cut first and tonight a colour. My hair has been in terrible condition, breaking badly and quite dry, initially due to iron deficiency but Shayla has also talked me through a few other things that could lead to the issues I’ve been having. I’ve left the salon both times extremely happy with my treatment, and my hair is really starting to improve in condition. Shayla is very knowledgeable, talented and friendly to work with, and I will definitely keep coming back to the salon for appointments with her, very happy with the service

Listen, I don't ever usually do reviews but believe me when I say - if you want stunning, gorgeous, perfect hair then this is the place to go! My hair was 100 different kinds of blonde, was so thick and to my waist. I hadn't gone to the salon in over 10 years, for fear they would mess up my greatest attribute (when she was fresh she was good, but the upkeep of regrowth killed me!) Then however, I wanted a beautiful buttery but chic blonde for my wedding, and pulled the pin. Y'all, look at my gorgeous hair. She's lush, she's thick, and full and best of all? The same gorgeous blonde! Those of us who have worked with bleach know how DIFFICULT it is to achieve these results - especially when there's a multitude of colours. Look at her, she is magnificent! And, they added a lottle shadow root, so when it grows in it'll look lovely as well. Big thankyou to Kortney for making me perfect and shiny for my beautiful wedding. We spent hours, and you worked pure magic on me; alas I am convinced you are a magician. Thankyou the gorgeous salon Elysium; you guys live up to your name!!

I was impressed from the begining to the end. The whole process, it was my first time visiting this Salon. Had to do a small quiz to see which stylist was best suited to do my hair, when I got there the stylist was patient and asked me exactly what I wanted, wrote it down and made me sign that I agreed. Second time round was just as good but didn't need to sign anything. Hair looked great both times.

She is very thorough and explains everything along the way, very patient and very very good at colouring. Absolutely love what you have done with my hair, the cut is low maintenance and just falls into place and the colour looks natural and just lovely. She didn’t over promise and was practical with what could be done when my current colour. Her honesty was refreshing, however, she ended up getting the colour I wanted anyway! 10/10 will be going back for my maintenance sessions. Loveeeee my hair.

Just had another wonderful hair appointment with Shayla today. Again she and the salon delivered a great experience. Shayla is very good at managing my baby fine hair ,keeping it at its fullest but also giving terrific body and texture.As a hairdresser myself I know that’s not an easy task with hair like mine. She also takes the time to check that we are in the same page with my hair requirements. My shampoo spa experience was terrific and she chooses products with quality knowledge. Many a time I’ve had other hairdressers using totally wrong products in my hair leaving me greasy and lank. The treatment and styling products at Elysium are excellent. Coupled with a well trained stylist they are a cut above the rest. The salon always make me feel very welcomed and comfortable.

I’ve been a client of Elysium since 2019 but had a gap for the last year or so due to personal circumstances but was finally in a space to put wellness etc first and book back in at Elysium. My hair had really suffered during the time I was away from Elysium and was missing Carla’s magic touch. I was excited for my appointment with Carla after all this time, and she did not disappoint. She outdid herself this time - I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been with my hair. The pre-appointment survey and in-salon consultation with Carla helped her understand my hair goals and bring them to reality. I really have never trusted anyone with my hair more than Carla, and this is why I keep coming back to Elysium. The whole team at Elysium are great - always so welcoming and professional. And the service Oscar provides with organising appointments, pre-appointment price estimates etc is so helpful and manages expectations so no surprises on the day. The care you receive in the salon is also second to none - the refreshments offered, head massage given during washing, styling products used etc it all makes the appointment feel like a luxurious and relaxing experience. My appointment was 4.5 hrs but it didn’t feel like it and I enjoyed my experience. Thank you again Elysium ☺️

I thought I’d left my appt last minute before going away but Oscar managed to get me in and also was so realistic about prices etc. I’m particular about what I like hair colour wise but the whole consultation with Maddie was great. I've been to a lot of salons (and spent lots of money) and I have to say Amy was the best I've ever had when it came to the consultation before we got started. She really listened to what I wanted and most importantly got it. And she understood the uniqueness of my hair. I strongly recommend the luxe therapy (scrub and fusio). You get a scrub and massage and I got an iced eye mask. After treating my hair, I sat down for my haircut and sipped my house-made cappuccino. Oscar was extremely helpful on the phone and transparent with everything from my expectations to the price. Amy was my incredible stylist and I could not say enough amazing things about her. She was patient, asked all the right questions, continued to check I was comfortable and happy throughout the entire appointment, and best of all, absolutely nailed all of my hair goals. She was realistic about maintenance and daily wear. She worked with me on what my goals are and what I wanted to achieve. She is an angel with a hairdryer. wow! what a salon :) I love my hair again !! Oscar was very lovely and helpful on the phone, got me an appointment on the same day we chatted a great complimentary drink and snack menu- that lemongrass and ginger tea was so good! they had phone chargers too I was lucky enough to have Jade work on my hair. Her consultations are really thorough, honest and left me feeling like I was in good hands. I really liked that the hair wash station was at the back of the salon with black walls, calming music and reclining chairs with a message button too 😍 such a beautiful touch Jade is the fastest blow dryer in the west- usually I’m sitting in the chair for what feels like hours as I have really thick hair, not a problem for her! I have had so many terrible salon experiences that have left me so upset or very regretful, and being autistic makes finding a salon even harder but I’m glad I’ve found a new home for my hair!! All the little details let you know these staff are dedicated to not just your hair but the experience of getting your hair done Thank you 🩷

Lovely salon with plenty of chairs. The staff at Elysium were all so friendly and accommodating and the complimentary offerings are second to none! Shayla did an excellent curly cut on my wavy hair. She really took the time to understand the challenges I was having in maintaining my hair and talked me through why I might be having these issues, and the products I could use to combat them. On top of this she checked throughout the cut that I was happy with her taking off additional length and shaping. I couldn’t recommend this salon highly enough and have definitely found my new go-to!

Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some, but it was a great day for me where the lovely staff at Elysium Hair Brisbane made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Honestly my most favourite salon I’ve ever been to! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they truly look after you with so many lovely little details. The vibe inside is great and going for a haircut there is so enjoyable! It’s the first place I’ve ever had a “curly cut” and it’s been so transformative. I never had the confidence to wear my natural hair before and had no idea how to care for/style it, but with help from the lovely Jade I haven’t straightened my hair in 6 months! Super friendly staff and great service. Got a lob cut and fixing of my curtain bangs from their talented apprentice Christina. She was kind and made sure we agreed on a look before starting, and checked in regularly for my opinion. Only critique I could give the place would be it getting a bit loud sometimes, but nothing out of the ordinary for a hair salon. It overall felt very luxurious and comfortable. My stylist treated me with such kindness and care. She has good graces beyond her years and was respectful, patient and understanding of my requests. The head massage was divine and her consult thorough. I almost feel asleep during the blow-dry. She apologised for not talking much when she was drying off but honestly I would prefer not to talk anyways. My curly hair had a little bit of frizz when it was done and personally I just fixed that up with my own iron when I got back to the hotel. Overall it was a lovely experience as I expected from this lovely Salon.

I’ve seen a variety of there stylists from emerging to lead etc and there customer service has always been consistently great always going the extra mile to accomodate you and making you feel comfortable. Of course the blowouts themselves have all been great they only use quality products and tell you what they’re using and why and i really love that. I had Carla today and she left my hair feeling so soft and in turn I felt so good about myself!! Oscar and his team were my go-to hairdressers whilst I travelled around Australia. A great guy with a lovely bunch of talented hairdresser ladies, especially Jamie & Lucie are top-tier. Jamie gave my thick hair a wonderful hairstyle to cope with the Australian heat and Lucie has been a great colourist. She understood the assignment and gave me the most amazing hair. One session took her 5h to cleanse, style and colour my hair and she did it with so much ease I didn't feel the time passing by. Throughout the entire stay, she was professional, kind and fun to chat to. I always felt like a million bucks leaving Elysium and I truly miss the team. I've been to this salon twice now and each time the staff have been nothing but friendly and welcoming. I switched to Elysium after my blonde hair was ruined at another hair salon, and within 2 appointments my hair is now a brighter blonde than ever The service is also great with a wide range of complimentary drinks and snacks. Was my first time there, Oscar was kind enough to squeeze me in on such a short notice. The whole experience from start to finish was very pleasant, they offered welcome tea/hand towel at the start along with beverages and snacks. I had Lucy and Carla who were both really lovely and great at their job, also Sydney's scalp massage was very relaxing. You can tell the workplace dynamic is good by how well the girls work together. Pity I'm only visiting Brisbane for the weekend but if I'm back to visit and need my hair done would definitely come back here :)

I had a very frizzy kind of hair which was hard to manage when its open. This week I visited the Elysium salon. First of all, I would like to thank Oscar to fit a pre Christmas appointment for me within a short notice. His hospitality and taking care of every customer was the first nice experience when I entered into the salon. Every staff is friendly, you will be treated as very special from the beginning to end. Lucie was my hairdresser and she is faboulous. With her knowledge and caring nature she adviced what hairstyle goes well with my face and how to take care of my stubborn curly hair. She provided me with right products and a detailed wxplanation of how to use them. Voila!! It actually works, I never be in so much love with my curla as now. In addition I should mention the hair spa which almost made me feel so relaxed after a long tiring day. After trying out different saloon I guess I have found the right place for me. If you want to surprise your hair to give them a caring luxurious treatment viait Elysium Hair. You will not ve dissapointed.

I went in today after I had my hair scalped bleached at another salon. My hair is so damaged and had been coming in clumps. I called the salon and they arranged an appointment ASAP to see what they could do to salvage this mess. I have been getting Keratin straightening here for about a year and the girls here always do an amazing job - I always walk out with fresh and healthy hair that has been taken well care of. Additionally, the whole experience is amazing. As soon as you walk in all staff are friendly and ensuring you are comfortable, offering quality complimentary coffee and cakes. After my salon closed down in early March, I needed to find a new home. I’d heard about Elysium through some discussions with friends and coincidentally I’d been walking past the salon every week. My first trip to Elysium was like a big warm hug. Service from the get go has been flawless and consistent - and I can say this confidentially as I visit the salon once a week. Even during the COVID lockdown, it’s a testament to Kate and Oscar for the drive and passion they have to keep the business running not only for their staff, but their clients. They pivoted very quickly to adjust how they ran things in the salon to ensure that once the all clear was given, you could be feel safe being in the salon space but enjoy that great customer service and ‘hairy family’ feel. I have been colouring my hair for years, and this is probably the most satisfied I have ever been following an appointment. The girls really took the time to determine what look I was aiming for, and they couldn't have done a better job! I loved the ambience of the salon, too. All the staff members were lovely, and when I was at the basin I was so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep! I will definitely be returning.
Yesterday was my second visit for a keratin treatment and I am over the moon. My hair is super curly (3b and very long), dry, and frizzy and they have done an amazing job both times. I haven’t had my hair done in 6 years from shaving my hair off, and when I decided to do my hair I checked out many places and asked many questions but Tash and Kate from Elysium really made me feel comfortable with the the process. (Even if I asked so many questions and came in a couple of times because I was nervous lol) anyways, I loved it and I have no regrets because I placed my hair in the greatest hands. The team at Elysium Hair are absolutely amazing! I first visited this salon back in September for a dramatic cut and colour after 3 years of avoiding hair salons due to severe anxiety. As soon as I walked in to Elysium they made me feel comfortable, treated me like an absolute queen and were supportive when I had one (of many!) anxiety attacks. Hannah is an absolute credit to this company, she is genuine, warm, talented figuring out the perfect cut and colour for me. She also recommended some products at the first visit that have absolutely worked a treat and that I asked for again at my 3 month appointment yesterday. Another great plus is that the products that they recommended ACTUALLY WORK and when I came back yesterday they didn't try and upsell me more... Which is always a nice plus. This meant that when I attended the Salon my gorgeous stylist Carla knew what I looked like and already had ideas on the makeover/resurrection of my bonce. We got on like a house on fire and she shared with me an accurate description of how I was presenting. With both of us laughing heartily she revealed my current look was that of lord Farquad from Shreck fame. Brilliant! There followed an extensive chat on the best path to follow and so the five star treatment began. With the assistance of Jamii I was sculpted, grey reduced and all while consuming a capaccino and a Carona. I left with the best Aussie made anti frizz product I’ve tried and feeling like a million dollars and my new look has been praised by family and friends alike. In my humble opinion these guys are simply the best in Brisbane. My advice ladies and gentlemen is to give them a call. Tell Oscar the Scotsman sent you......ex lord Farquad!

The expectations of today’s hair salons are high, so it now makes sense why Elysium is highly ranked in most of the ‘best men’s/women’s salons’ listings, receiving scores of positive comments, ratings and prestigious awards each year! Armed with this groundwork and cursed with fine, receding hair, I called up and spoke with Oscar—a man with composed phone-manner who was genuine, professional and personable. Booked in with one of their more senior stylists, Hannah, I turned up with a vision board of celebrities—David Beckham, Zayn Malik, Chris Hemsworth… hmm.. I could only hope! Hannah was exceptional—collecting meticulous details to get an understanding of what I was feeling about my hair at present and how I want to feel by the outcome—rather than mindlessly asking ‘what’ the client wants! Throughout the entire process, Oscar, Kate and Hannah (as did the entire team) prolonged the experience delivering constant client attentiveness, observing the needs of each client while entertaining new customers. The salon was fresh, modern and the service rates were equatable to the superb service provided! — Thank you.

The first time I came to Elysium I was nervous and hadn’t got my hair cut in a long time because every salon I walked into I would get scowled at by the girls standing at the front desk and they wouldn’t listen to what I wanted with my haircut and I would end up having too much taken off and being very upset I was too intimidated to walk in because they didn’t make me feel welcome. My partner actually told me about Elysium because he always goes there so I went to check it out as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile from Kate and Oscar the lovely owners I was welcomed in sat down offered refreshments and then I met my amazing hair dresser Hannah who is also smiley and understanding and did exactly what I wanted with a cut and colour I love the awesome dark room at the back Hannah gives an awesome head massage I have been back several times and I will continue to go back and enjoy the amazing service proved at this salon Thanks.

The salon atmosphere is also very friendly and welcoming, and all of the staff are helpful and attentive. The facilities are great, yay massage chairs during hair washing! It was always a remarkable experience at Elysium Hair Brisbane. I was always greeted with a smile and a friendly hello at the reception. They do what they do best to provide the best customer experience. My stylist Natalie is very sweet and always gave me the smoothest cut I have ever had. She really knows how to cut following the natural lay of the hair in that area. She also knows when to stop cutting. I must say the head massage they give when washing your hair is to die for and it is a fantastic pampering session. They do pretty good hair-styling too, so if you have a night out.. why not? I was there yesterday, and Natalie refreshed my highlights and did a fantastic job with the haircut. Overall a great experience and i highly recommend this place.

This salon has such a unique and special charisma to it. I cannot thank the ladies at Elysium enough. I've recently had a few bad visits to other salons and was full of dread walking in for my appointment. But much to my surprise I was greated by the most welcoming reception ever and immediately offered some refreshments. I then had a consultation with my hairdresser Natasha, aka the miracle worker, who actually listened to what I wanted and suggested ideas and colors to match my image. She was extremely detailed, attentive and knowledgeable. I was constantly impressed Throughout my appointment here as I was surrounded by multiple stylists who I could tell had a real passion for hair. Elysium Hair has the most friendly, easy-going atmosphere out of any professional salon in Brisbane. I am really indecisive and anxious about my hair and they always do a really good job. Recently, I was very concerned about damage to my hair and how to keep it blonde. But, Courtney was very positive and encouraging. She is very good with colours and giving advice about damage from permanent colouring and what products to use to get the best results. So she was able to come up with a solution and I get to stay blonde - this is just one reason why I keep coming back to Elysium ^_^

I always have positive experiences with these guys; each and every time I visit. The staff and owners and warm and friendly, and if given the opportunity (and permission) to do what they do best they do an incredible job. I have a natural looking balayage that is blended with my natural hair colour and Chelsea does it perfectly! So well in fact that I am constantly stopped in the streets and asked where I get my hair done. Long story short, these guy constantly deliver. I came in for my appointment, had no wait time, filled out my forms and then Natalie sat down with me and we discussed my hair, products, history, etc - I was extremely impressed with the depth the team at Elysium goes to, to ensure everyone is catered to as a complete individual! My hair had been badly damaged by years of mistreatment, and she was completely honest about the situation, knew exactly what I needed and finalized a quote within minutes... I then had a fantastic rinse and treatment, before my cut. Natalie was amazing, I love my hair - it's so soft and luscious. No longer matting, knotted, and dry! I'm visiting Brisbane from the US and this was the first time I've gotten my hair cut with my toddler tagging along. I was nervous bringing him because I didn't know what the atmosphere was going to be like and he's been going through a whiny phase. Not only was everyone so friendly (he got a balloon and cookie to entertain him), but I LOVE my hair, and got an unexpected head massage with the shampoo. Such a great experience. Oscar is the no.1 man and an absolute wonder when welcoming you by name when you walk in, to changing (uncomplaining and always with a smile) your appointment for the umpteenth time around your work commitments. Each and every time I have been to Elysium, I walk out looking and feeling absolutely fabulous. It's all in the little things - from your stylist knowing which magazines you like to read and ensuring they're there for you each appointment to their remembering how you like your coffee or tea. It's very schmick and professional but with a realistic level of service provided to the clients. You can completely trust your stylist, the wonderful head massager (he's so good you'd like him to forget there's a clock), the girl who gowns you up ... everyone is trained professionally and their politeness and level of customer service is second to none. Today I had another fantastic experience at Elysium Hair Brisbane - just when you think their service couldn't possibly get any better, they surprise you by surpassing your expectations once again! As a returning customer it is so nice to be greeted by name as I enter the salon - they know I'm coming, they know what I'm here for, who I'm booked in with, the whole she-bang. Today I walked through the door, was warmly welcomed by name and was immediately taken to my seat where a drink and cupcake was offered (and accepted!). Some things you have to experience for yourself to truly appreciate. Like the attention to detail that goes into each and every consultation. It's very personalised, so I always feel like I'm getting a uniquely designed colour and hairstyle to suit me. I was also able to treat myself to the Hair & Scalp Therapy Ritual which is like the ultimate shampoo, treatment and scalp massage experience. It's another thing you need to try for yourself to appreciate. The smells, the sounds, the massage chairs, the scalp massage, the hot towel and just when you think you've reached hair nirvana, you're covered in a blanket and given an eye pillow. I was in this heavenly cocoon surrounded by the most divine aromas - I didn't want to come out! Today's was a really transformative experience. I entered the salon a grub, spent some lovely time in my hair ritual cocoon, was expertly styled and emerged feeling like a beautiful butterfly. Top marks again to the team at Elysium for once again raising the bar on customer service and creating a wonderful experience for me :)

Absolutely fantastic salon experience. Very clean, well presented, modern design and layout of the salon. Greeted when you first walk in and offered a drink. As it was my first consultation I had to fill out a questionnaire about my hair and previous salon experiences, which went into a large amount of detail which I found very impressive that they took the time to ask about. I then had an actual chat with my stylist, Holly, before we even went to the chair, about what I was after and what I wanted my hair to do. Fantastic service as well, very friendly and engaging stylist and all staff. All staff members, whether they were working on me or not, were friendly, greeted me with a smile (while looking me in the eye - so refreshing), and were also so friendly with each other which was lovely to see. I was given a quote before we started, and was shown the products that would be used but there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever to buy - the importance was placed on giving the customer the knowledge/advice they wanted, not on pushing a product. The whole way through I was asked questions about how I felt, what I wanted to do with my hair, how I style it, how much time I have to style my hair - everything you could possibly think of, which made a difference as my stylist could then tailor the cut to my life. Honestly one of the best salon experiences I've ever had, I have been searching for a new salon since returning from overseas and I have finally found it. Thank you so much!

I have been to Elysium Hair and Beauty Brisbane a few times now and I cannot fault them. From the first time I enquired about their prices and services to each new appointment I have always experienced top quality service, friendly staff and have always been happy with my cuts and colours. I love coming into the clean and funky salon, there is an awesome menu for drinks which is a really lovely touch. Jenny, my stylist helped me to change my whole colour and style to suit me and I am so happy with it each time and have never looked back. Nikki is extremely easy to talk to, she just seems to immediately understand the good and bad points of your hair. Nikki does not rush the process which in turn made me relaxed and confident I would get the hair cut I asked for. I had Nikki's attention the whole time, which is very refreshing as over the years getting hairdressers attention is usually the hardest thing to do. I will recommend Nikki and Elysium to my friends, so crank up the massage chair and the coffee machine I will come again. Very professional and friendly establishment.

I have given many salons a go, going back more than once, All I was after was a cut and colour that looked good not just at the salon, but also the day after the cut once I had washed and styled it myself. Well It has taken a long time but I have once again found a great hairdresser. I visited Elysium last week and left feeling very happy with the cut and colour. But what I am most happy about is that it was such a good cut that I can style it myself, I just wash it and wear it! I have finally found the best hairdresser i have ever had!! Jessie is AMAZING - she really knows her colours and listened to what i was wanting. I have never had a hairdresser that gave me the perfect colour i was looking for until now. I can not recommend her or Elysium enough they truly are great and passionate about what they do and it shows in their work! I was blown away by how amazing Elysium was, and by Nikki, my hairdresser. I've worn my hair as long as possible for my whole life, and was really nervous, but eager to cut it. I came with a few pictures, but didn't really know WHAT I wanted: which styles would translate well to my type of hair, which hairstyles would require a lot of maintenance, etc. I didn't know any terminology. Nikki was so patient and nice, she zeroed in on the perfect style, translating my stammered remarks to a cohesive look that's perfect for me. Overall, Elysium was awesome. Pricy, but pampering, and worth every dime. And Nikki was a superstar. My hair looks fantastic, and I have her to thank, for really working with me to understand what I wanted, and then doing such an incredible job with it!

My experience at this salon was one of the best hair experiences I have ever had. In my consultation, Chelsea really listened to me as I described what I wanted. I felt like she was reading my mind! The whole team was lovely; they offered me drinks and cupcakes and made sure I was comfortable. Jenny, who cut my hair, was amazing. She really listened to me and gave me the exact style and colour that I was looking for. She had great attention to detail but was also very quick and I didn't feel like I was sitting in the chair too long. Everything about my experience was enjoyable! I was so impressed by my experience at Elysium Hair & Beauty yesterday - I just HAD to write a review. I made a booking online Thursday, as a last minute ditch to have my hair done on Friday before an events night I was hosting. Not only did they manage to get me in, I was offered complimentary bubbly, a yummy tasting cupcake and Tara, the lovely lady doing my hair - did the most incredible job - essentially it wasn't JUST a blow-wave, she styled it 1950s style and it was amazing. Because Tara knew I was short of time to go back to my hotel to do my makeup, she kindly offered to do the base and contouring for me - and what a job she did! Service like this MUST be commended! I just wish I could have packed the entire salon in my suitcase and brought it back to Perth. I would recommend Elysium to anyone planning to head to Brisbane or currently in Brisbane - they are THAT impressive. To Kate, Tara and all the ladies at Elysium - keep up the great work!

It is the best beauty salon I've been to! Absolutely professional and friendly! I've got useful advice on how to take care of my hair and how to style it. Due to budget restrictions, I could only afford a basic haircut. Even with -20% discount, which is provided for students, I find it quite pricey comparing to Germany; however, if I got it correct, it is not expensive for Brisbane. Jenny was my hair stylist and she did a great job! I can only recommend her!

I really enjoyed my time here at Elysium. I had Tania, who was oh so lovely and easy to get along with. We were able to have a good chat, while she asked me about my hair and gave me advice about products etc. I could use. She took my needs into consideration and cut my hair in a way that we both saw suit. I was very pleased with the results and will definitely be back for another appointment!

These guys are amazing! They are incredibly nice, and you are seated pretty much the second you walk through the door. Then offered drinks. I've never waited longer then 5 minutes for my hair stylist - and she is absolutely amazing, she knows exactly what is in style, she is a complete professional and she is funny. I cannot praise the entire staff high enough, they all do a fantastic job and they genuinely love their jobs. Every single hair stylist session is a cut above the last. The only thing I wish I had done was found you guys earlier! But I'll never leave! haha, you guys are just too damn good!

Expect to be treated like a Princess at this Salon. No detail was left out. From being warmly welcomed and attended to the moment you walk through the door, it just gets better. I was able to discuss in depth with my professional, knowledgeable and friendly stylist Tash about my hair, that was in desperate need of a makeover. Throughout the process I was offered complimentary drinks and snacks which was lovely, I even indulged in a cheeky moscato and yummy cupcake... I went for a consultation based on the great reviews of the salon, and was not disappointed. Based on an in depth discussion about what I wanted my stylist (Shianne) worked with me and explained the steps to go through to cause the least damage to my hair but look amazing after each visit. I am dark haired with grey coming through and want to go more silver. At my appointment I was totally taken care of, and it was genuine too. My hair looked amazing, I was stunned at how gorgeous it was, and it's only the first attempt. I really look forward to my next visit, I have had so many compliments too! I highly recommend the salon and the staff.

Extremely pleased with the quality of service I received during my first visit to the salon. Sharon was extremely thorough in ensuring that she understood what I was after and took great care in ensuring that my requirements were met. The haircut is so amazing that I don't particularly need to worry about styling it much at all - and the treatment she put in makes it feel like silk. What impressed me most is that I was actually asked if I had a particular preference for organic or non-organic products, and the products that were used during the cut and color process incorporated my preference. I was also very pleased with the fact that everything that was done on my hair was done by Sharon - it wasn't a matter of being plonked on a chair and have a junior apprentice do the shampooing or blow drying - it was Sharon all the way, which of course made a huge difference, as often I have found myself being relegated to a junior apprentice doing the color, blow drying and shampooing and pay the full rates. I don't criticize this practice as I understand the need to be trained, but in this salon, you get what you pay for. I paid for a master stylist and the master stylist is who I got. So impressed! I love this salon and the service is one of the best I have received in a very long time. They certainly deserve all the accolades. Will most certainly be going back.

I had been a regular customer of the salon for a few years before I recently moved interstate. Every single time I went to Elysium, I left the salon feeling great because I got a great haircut. Chelsea made my hair look awesome (even my very-hard-to-please mother approves). And the service is amazing, everyone is very friendly and I was often offered cupcakes, drinks etc. There is also a wide range of products available whenever I need some hair products to use at home. Will definitely come back for a haircut when I am back in Brisbane!

Been here twice now for basic hair cut services. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the service is really good. Treats like complimentary hot drinks and confectionery items (mini cupcakes for me) are available to make your wait more enjoyable. Definitely coming back here for my next hair appointments.

Hi Elysium.. I had my second visit with Tash today.. It is so hard to choose between all of the girls.. But Tash was awesome.. We decided to go my usual dark brown but this time with a hint of purple through it.. I was super excited because it was something different other than my usual dark brown.. I wanted to use Pureology products so she picked out a shampoo and conditioner for me to use and I cant wait to use them at home.. I had Emily do my usual treatment and I absolutely love her.. A serious sweet person and always bubbly.. She is going to be an amazing hairdresser.. All said and done I finished with Tash finishing by curling by hair.. She swept it aside and then asked it looked good that way.. she pinned it back and it looked so pretty I didn't really know what to say.. I looked different but in a good way.. I then got my make up done but I didn't know her name.. she was wonderful.. I really liked her as well.. I came out and about to go and Tash came along telling me to turn around to see my make up and hair.. I will never go to another place.. And when my long time partner off almost seven years eventually get married one day I know where I am coming for my make up and hair..

Yesterday I had my first experience at Elysium Hair. I had my hair colored by Nikki. To say the least, the experience was amazing!! After undergoing an extensive consultation, Nikki proceeded to undertake a mammoth color job!! The end result is MORE than I could have ever asked for and already I have had countless complements!!! Nikki was delightful and professional, yet friendly and fun. She really is a wonderful hair dresser!!! I would recommend this salon to ANYONE! In my opinion the best in Brisbane! I have recently discovered Elysium through a friend from work and I am beyond impressed! It's just a short walk down the road from my work which means that I have the convenience of popping in during my lunch break. That's my first visit to Elysium after years and years wandering around looking for a great salon/hairdresser. All I can say, I finally found it and am totally satisfied! Arguably the best salon treatment I've ever had for the past 5 years; the atmosphere's so lovely and relaxing. Marie did such a truly amazing ombre/balayage inspired hair colouring and styling that's exactly a true match with all my expectations. I'm absolutely blown away with the result! She's really friendly and professional, listened well to what kind of hairstyle I really wanted, gave me a bunch of helpful advices; definitely stunning, a 10 out of 10. If you’re in the Brisbane area, don’t look anywhere else! I’ve finally found my perfect hair salon after only a week living in Brisbane! From living in Sydney to Darwin to Germany, I’ve never really found a hair salon I was truly happy with until my experience at Elysium Hair Brisbane today! From when I first spoke to Oscar and Whitney on the phone it was a great experience. They were also so lovely to me today in the salon. I first had my hair consultation with Lucie who listened to all of my concerns and was able to work out a solution for me. Then I had my hair appointment with Audrey who was so lovely. I really appreciated that I was told how much my appointment would cost before we started so that there were no unexpected costs at the end. She took care with my hair and has given me exactly what I wanted - a more healthy and natural look - as well as let me know the gradual process to get it back to a blonde colour in a healthy way that won’t damage my hair any further. And Hannah, who washed my hair was so gentle and amazing. The head massage she did was so relaxing and just on another level! I partly feel like I’ve been spoiled today and partly feel like I’ve been missing out all of these years! Overall, the salon just went above and beyond, making me feel so welcomed and reassured about my hair. They also gave me a welcome kit that they give to new customers, which I really appreciated! I can’t recommend Elysium Hair Brisbane highly enough and can’t wait for my next appointment!

She actually knew how to manage and blow dry (smoothly) thick, coarse hair - not something I encounter often enough! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!
I booked an appointment with Elysium on a whim to celebrate finishing the biggest exam of my professional life. They squeezed me in, and from the moment I walked in, Oscar, Carla, and Audrey made me feel so incredibly welcome and well cared for. It was an amazing experience with every little detail accounted for; a scented hand towel, peach tea, a charger for my phone, some bubbles, the scalp massage. Nothing was overlooked. Carla did the difficult job of taking me from a former box dye brunette turned recently foiled awkward blonde transition stage, back to a perfectly dimensional and natural looking brunette. Audrey styled and cut my hair like nobody has. The team were so excellent that instead of being a one off, I’ve since gone back and had my hair done by Audrey who always manages to make my hair perfect without me having to ask. I don’t live in Brisbane, but will travel for my hair and will only ever trust this team with it. If you’re in doubt, just call them or drop by. You won’t regret it.

Also managed to get the Luxe Treatment and never felt so relaxed in so long. Customer service - 10/10. First time ever doing curls/waves and so grateful to have Max work her magic on my hair 🥰.
I had an awesome haircut from Carla, I've got super fine but curly hair so its usually a saga trying to get it cut. She really understood what I was after and was very helpful with advice and extremely knowledgeable. Also, she didn't put too much product into my hair, which I've had before with curly cuts. It was my first time dying my hair and Elysium did the absolute best job I could imagine. I always found the idea of dying my hair a little scary but the team were so friendly and informative and made me so comfortable. My pre-appointment communication was made so clear and easy, Oscar was very friendly and quick to respond. Upon walking into the shop I was greeted with such friendly service and care I felt so welcomed and relaxed! My colour requests and concerns were carefully listened to and the staff were very clear about how results may differ from the images I used as a reference. Hannah did my hair and was so professional, friendly and skilled! She got an amazing colour result that was even better than I expected and made the whole experience so easy and pleasant. She also gave me the absolute best scalp massage too, I almost fell asleep! The rest of the staff I interacted with were also so kind and helpful, especially the young lady who helped get me set up, she gave me some great tips on caring for my hair at the beach and was so friendly. If you’re in the Brisbane area, don’t look anywhere else! I’ve finally found my perfect hair salon after only a week living in Brisbane! From living in Sydney to Darwin to Germany, I’ve never really found a hair salon I was truly happy with until my experience at Elysium Hair Brisbane today! From when I first spoke to Oscar and Whitney on the phone it was a great experience. They were also so lovely to me today in the salon. I first had my hair consultation with Lucie who listened to all of my concerns and was able to work out a solution for me. Then I had my hair appointment with Audrey who was so lovely. I really appreciated that I was told how much my appointment would cost before we started so that there were no unexpected costs at the end. She took care with my hair and has given me exactly what I wanted - a more healthy and natural look - as well as let me know the gradual process to get it back to a blonde colour in a healthy way that won’t damage my hair any further. And Hannah, who washed my hair was so gentle and amazing. The head massage she did was so relaxing and just on another level! I partly feel like I’ve been spoiled today and partly feel like I’ve been missing out all of these years! Overall, the salon just went above and beyond, making me feel so welcomed and reassured about my hair. They also gave me a welcome kit that they give to new customers, which I really appreciated! I can’t recommend Elysium Hair Brisbane highly enough and can’t wait for my next appointment!

Such a delightful experience from start to finish! Every little detail about the salon, services and interactions with staff is intentional. Hannah was brilliant! She actually knew how to manage and blow dry (smoothly) thick, coarse hair - not something I encounter often enough! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!
I booked an appointment with Elysium on a whim to celebrate finishing the biggest exam of my professional life. They squeezed me in, and from the moment I walked in, Oscar, Carla, and Audrey made me feel so incredibly welcome and well cared for. It was an amazing experience with every little detail accounted for; a scented hand towel, peach tea, a charger for my phone, some bubbles, the scalp massage. Nothing was overlooked. Carla did the difficult job of taking me from a former box dye brunette turned recently foiled awkward blonde transition stage, back to a perfectly dimensional and natural looking brunette. Audrey styled and cut my hair like nobody has. The team were so excellent that instead of being a one off, I’ve since gone back and had my hair done by Audrey who always manages to make my hair perfect without me having to ask. I don’t live in Brisbane, but will travel for my hair and will only ever trust this team with it. If you’re in doubt, just call them or drop by. You won’t regret it.

I had an awesome haircut from Carla, I've got super fine but curly hair so its usually a saga trying to get it cut. She really understood what I was after and was very helpful with advice and extremely knowledgeable. Also, she didn't put too much product into my hair, which I've had before with curly cuts. I will definitely be back!
From the moment I walked in I was very well taken care of. They have a huge selection of drinks and snacks to keep you comfortable while you get pampered. It was so wonderful to have a hairdresser that knows curly hair and took great care. Thanks couldn’t be happier with the service, the detail to attention and of course, my wonderful haircut. I’m so glad I found this salon.
It was my first time dying my hair and Elysium did the absolute best job I could imagine. I always found the idea of dying my hair a little scary but the team were so friendly and informative and made me so comfortable. My pre-appointment communication was made so clear and easy, Oscar was very friendly and quick to respond. Upon walking into the shop I was greeted with such friendly service and care I felt so welcomed and relaxed! My colour requests and concerns were carefully listened to and the staff were very clear about how results may differ from the images I used as a reference. Hannah did my hair and was so professional, friendly and skilled! She got an amazing colour result that was even better than I expected and made the whole experience so easy and pleasant. She also gave me the absolute best scalp massage too, I almost fell asleep! The rest of the staff I interacted with were also so kind and helpful, especially the young lady who helped get me set up, she gave me some great tips on caring for my hair at the beach and was so friendly. Overall I couldn't be happier with the service, the clean, lovely presentation of the salon and of course the result. Thank you!
